Kent stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2008-03-07 and said, "This is a group tour hotel for all practical purposes. Buses roll up between 4PM and 7PM and tourists get off. The rooms are big but certainly need some renovation ... my room had satellite TV but the other room we had did not. Basically I do not believe the General Manager inspects his / her hotel because the staff was lacking in hospitality skills, the gym attendants were watching TV, the back of house area that one sees going down the first floor corridor was dirty. The dinner and breakfast buffet had a lot of food but not a lot to eat. If you re looking for an individual experience this is not the place. Keep checking for other hotels in Phitsanulok. I choose it because of the Amarin name in Bangkok ... this hotel did not exceed expectations. The GM has to get out and see his staff and hotel. But the bright spot was the Front Office Manager who was courtious and had just moved over from another hotel in town."
Christian stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2008-02-26 and said, "Overall the hotel was fine. Don t expect true 4-star performance from a hotel charging less than THB 1,500 for a single room. That would not be fair. Rooms are large and clean. The service is friendly. Breakfast could be better. The pool is nice. There is no Internet in the rooms :( . Fitness room better than expected! All-in-all, better than my expectation and quite enjoyable."
David stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2007-11-24 and said, "Nice Hotel, if a little difficult to find. Rooms excellent and service the same."
Somjit stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2007-04-07 and said, "Very good value for money. Conveniently located just a few minute drive from the centre of the town. Very helpful staff. Breakfast menue is excellent."
Richard stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2007-03-29 and said, "Situated a little off the beaten track, though the hotel driver was on hand at all hours of the day and night to ferry us to and fro (cost 100Bt per person per one-way trip.) Diminutive lifts (only two of them) sound alarm if more than 5 people get on board. Room was large and comfortable enough (we had run of the house) though the bathroom was a bit antiquated and undersupplied. Room service and housekeeping were prompt and efficient. The setting and especially the swimming pool area is pleasant and the breakfast buffet one of the best so far encountered in upcountry Thailand. Worth a second visit considering the price."
Esther stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2006-10-15 and said, "Loved this place. Good breakfast buffet, they kept on refilling. Rooms were spacious and clean. Even among the tour buses we felt very welcome because of the friendly staff. Pool was excellent and so was the gym. Haven t tried the Spa, but looked great as well. The hotel is outside the city though, so be prepared to either take the hotel taxi or walk."
Joanne stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2006-02-12 and said, "Excellent Hotel, large family rooms. Nice pool, very very friendly. Ideal location for families as a little out of town. Would recommend to anyone. Food very good"
Robert stayed at Amarin Lagoon Hotel on 2004-02-17 and said, "Nice rooms, good facilities and friendly staff. However they were exceptionally busy during our stay catering for bus loads of package tours, mainly French and German. This was not what we expected and did not enhance our stay. In addition, at 5k, it is a bit far out of town."
