Liew stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-07-10 and said, "Is my 1st time stay-in Koh Samui n will recommend the resort to anyone...Good location between Chaweng n Lamai Beach.Actually,i already reserved Garden Bungalow for 3 pax.Unfortunately, the air-conditioned was out of order. So,the person-in-charge allow us to stay-in Poolside Room without extra charge. The staff n people there quite friendly n always greet Sawadee ka n Ko Ban Ka ..Breakfast is good but not in buffet style.Just few step to beach- we don t miss by try Thai massage which near the beach.Very satisfied- their service n the environment too.We quite enjoyed there."
Christiaan stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-06-20 and said, "What a pleasurable experience! The service is great without being overbearing. Always friendly smiles and always ready to assist. Extremely good value for money. Very happy we have chosen this resort and can recommend without any reservations to others. It is not the most luxerious but very good value for money. You get what you pay for and much much more!"
Ruth stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-06-16 and said, "awesome place to stay - the best service we have had on our many holidays in Thailand - resort has been upgraded since we saw it a year or two ago, great complimentary breakfast, definitely the best beach on Samui - very family friendly, would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a long peaceful break right by the beach."
Karlheinz stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-06-05 and said, "What a great place to stay ! We booked it on the internet for three nights and we found everything was perfect with excellent service, lovely room and good food right on the beach-bar&restaurant (Thai home cooking), so we decided to stay, in the end 11 nights. Breakfast was also good, you can choose out of the menue. The beach maybe isn t everyone s because of the corals, but with white soft sand, quiet and really beautiful. This is great value for the money. Recommendation !!!"
Mattias stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-06-03 and said, "This is probably the best place you can get on all of Koh Samui in it s price range. The rooms were very nice, always clean and had a sense of freshness about them. The secluded beach had no more than 30 people at any time. The restaurant had good food at low prices and you can get massage on the beach just next to resort for almost no cost. The staff was very helpful and genuinely nice. If you re looking for a relaxed, secluded place with a fine grained white sand beach this is what you re looking for! The pool was also really nice. Next time I go to Koh Samui this is where I ll stay! Highly recommended!!"
Martin stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-05-26 and said, "Great place to stay, excellent service and lovely room!good food and nice people! my holiday was perfect. i book for next year."
Daneill stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-05-12 and said, "Very relaxed place to stay with an excellent manager and very friendly staff. Food was great and shares a nice beach with one other hotel. Easy to motorbike to from Chaweng and Lami and far enough away from the hustle if you want to be away from it. Room was ok, only cleaned every 2nd day though! Thanks for having us!"
Amanda stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-04-14 and said, "Thongtakian was the perfect place to stay on Ko Samui! Silver beach is by far the most peaceful beautiful beach on the island and the best part...its all yours if you stay at Thongtakian. No one else goes there except for the people staying at these resorts. Perfect! The restaurant food on the beach was SUPERB, Thai home cooking.. and cheap! No one bothers you..you can rent scooters & get what ever you like whenever you like. Its a good location...I recommend you stay here and only here! The ONLY thing wrong is that the shower overfloes if you stay in the shower too long.PS. Stay in the new rooms by the swimming pool..they are clean, brand new, all you need."
Rao stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-03-29 and said, "It s a lovely and quiet beach, much nicer than the other two big ones. We stayed in the sea-front bungalow for 8 nights. The room is simple and tidy, not exactly like its picture, but nice and clean enough for us. The beach is seconds away so it s very convenient as well. The little restaurant serves delicious food but stops service in the afternoon. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it very much"
Oleg stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-03-15 and said, "Clean bungalows, friendly athmosphere, helpful staff (special thanks to Che). Right in between Chaweng and Lamai with easy access to both spots, (especially if you rent a bike, that we actually did), yet quiet, no discos around and an almost secluded beautiful beach with white sand right there. If we were to recommend a place to a friend or if we ever come back to Samui, Thongtakian resort would be of a first choice. Highly recommended. Thanks a lot!!"

Bethany stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-03-08 and said, "Very good value for money. I was given a large room right by the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful and couldn t do enough for us."
Magali stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-03-01 and said, "We loved Thongtakian Resort...We booked it on internet and everything was perfect. We were four people and had two rooms one beside the other, near the beach as we requested. We booked from the 29th of February and as we couldn t catch the plane at this date, we arrived there on the 1st of March and they kindly hadn t charged us the day we weren t there. We found everything really nice...the entire place is clean and very well arranged. People are also very nice. It s just a pity that the beach bar closes so early because we would have loved to stand there in the evening. The breakfast was perfect and the coffee really good. The swimming pool is also really clean but just a bit small to swimm in it and no place around to stand. Anyway we ve really enjoyed this place and would recommend it and would also returned there if we have the opportunity to go to Koh Samui again...we hope..."
Bohumir stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-02-16 and said, "Exelent stay ,very good servis, owner is very nice and helpfull. No very good for small chidren -too much rocks inside sea."
andrew stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-02-15 and said, "pleasant staff, clean room, nice position, stayed next door last year, you need a scooter because your half way between lamai and charweng.mattress very hard, sink blocked in bathroom, came and fixed it but took three attempts,it was blocked when we arrived,1500bht a night still good value"
Kristina stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-01-26 and said, "It was a clean and nice resort with a small clean pool and schower. Everything you need was in the room, but the bed was a little hard for me. I want to go there again. It was a VERY beautiful beach with sand, little stones in the water, but it was ok. Massage on the beach. Nice people was working in the little kitchen on the beach. BUT it closed 6 pm. You had a bigger kitchen in the receptionbuilding. Good food. Cheap ! And it was clean and beautiful around the bungalows. A gardenman was always there, cutting. I will recommend this Resort."
Katelin stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-01-16 and said, "Very caring, clean and friendly resort. Lovely facilities, first rate beach. Adorable, peaceful little bungalows. Very family orientated."
Jessica stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2008-01-09 and said, "Really nice, quiet location on a lovely beach. It was handy having a pool as well. The bungalows were kept very clean and tidy. The only negatives were the beach bar closing at around 6pm, which was a bit early, and it would have been good to have some loungers on the beach. Apert from that it was excellent and a great location for getting to both Lamai and Chaweng."
Caroline stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2007-11-21 and said, "Nice garden, clean bungalows, new pool, cleaned often. They forgot to pick us up, but I think that is Sawadee.com“s responsibility? After a bit of wait, they sorted it though. Nice clean beach, very quiet, still a couple of restaurants open in the evenings. We were very happy with service and other. We weren t expecting a pool which was nice!"
Alex stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2007-07-11 and said, "The resort is very basic and nothing spectacular. But everything was clean and everything worked. The beach its on is quiet and beautiful and if you walk 100m down the beach there is a break in the rocks and you can wallow in the luke warm ocean. Try and book the sea view ones, they at least have some sort of view of the beach and sea."
Liz stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2007-07-03 and said, "Really great value hotel with beautiful news rooms and bathrooms. We stayed in a garden chalet which was real tasteful with fridge, air con and t.v. The location is fairly remote - in between Cchaweng and Lemai but it is easy to grab a taxi 10 minutes either way. Staff were friendly and helpful and it s positioning on a gorgeous secluded bay with lovely beach bar was ideal!"
Michael stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2007-04-02 and said, "Perfect location in a silent area with a wonderful beach. Lamai and Chaweng are in near distance.Very friendly staff and good service."
Marcus stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2007-03-01 and said, "We had a Deluxe Bungalow and found the accomodation very good value for money. Everything worked and was clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful. A semi private bay. Transport required to go to Chaweng (10 mins)for shopping, but that was no issue, I valued the seclusion. Would go again for sure."
Rainer stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2007-01-17 and said, "quite nice place, very friendly people, rather remote from the more populated areas on samui. maybe a bit overpriced."
Katina stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-08-06 and said, "Our stay at Thong Takian Villa was a delight. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable; the beach lovely. Nothing like having breakfast every morning on the beach, Thai massage in the afternoon and being at a good location to get into town when desired!"
Gert stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-06-28 and said, "The hotel is placed very beautiful with a wonderful view over the bay. Room and shore are OK.We had planned to stay for 8 days at Thong Takian Villa. We had chosen the place because we love swimming and snorkling.BUT:Swimming was not possible because there were a lot of sharp stones/corals all over the bottum of the sea. We discovered that by cutting ourselves seriously on feet and hands at the first swim. The manager of the hotel had not found it necessary to tell us about that.We had ordered a seaview room for 3 persons 5 months before arrival. In spite of that, the room was not free when we arrived. We were offered two rooms with a long distance between them, so the family was split up the first day of the holiday. We could not meet in the beach bar because it was closed. The Homepage announced that it was open between 12 -23 every day.The hotel ground was a place of construction because they were building som new rooms for the hotel. The building noise started at 7 o clock in the morning. If we wanted to go to Chaweng or Lamai we had to rent a car/motorbike or go by taxi (300 baht one way), because the hotel is very isolated. We chose to leave the hotel after the first night. We moved to Long Beach Lodge at Chaweng and spent a wonderful week at that place."
Dana stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-04-29 and said, "Nice atmosphere and staff was very accomdating. We would stay here in the future."
Mr stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-04-11 and said, "the bungalow was very clean and roomy.we had the one on the beach, the beach is quite small, but beautiful, only a handful of people on the beach ,it was great.we stayed for 10 days and loved it. would recommend this to anyone that wanted a peaceful time to chill."
Kerri stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-03-28 and said, "It was really lovely!! The beach is in a cove hemmed in by mountains and the water is rocky so swimming is a bit difficult. But, the view is stunning and it s a really quiet place. It s perfect if you want to relax and get a massage with a view of the water! The room was great and there are no problems moving u around if they have the space. There are quite a few dogs around (as pets) they are really playful, and fun, but I thought I d mention it in case anyone s afraid of dogs. All in all it was great and I d recommend it!! Have fun!!"
Andreas stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-02-27 and said, "Everything very nice.Bungalow, beach, people..."
Noel stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-02-19 and said, "Close to paradise on earth. The view is immaculate and the sand perfect. The water is a little shallow and be prepared for a stubbed toe or 2. The beach massages are cheap and effective and about 30 steps away from your door. The proprieter is one of the coolest people ever. I would like to attribute his demeaner to the relaxed atmosphere surrounding this beach. Chewang is approx 10-15 mins away and Lamai is 5."
Andrey stayed at Thongtakian Resort on 2006-01-12 and said, "Very nice resort. I think one of best offer in this price level. Perfect location, very nice bay. Good for relax on the sendy beach and you can reach very fast Chaweng or Lamai in evening."
