Peper stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2008-05-20 and said, "very clean room. Great view to the sea.Staff very very attentive and ever helpful. best regards to mr.boon and his staff."
Damásdi stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2008-02-23 and said, "The hotel is very nice with exceptional view. Hotel stuff is very nice and helpful but unfortunately their english knowledge is very limited. Food is OK, could be better, could be worse. The poolbar was never open, but this might be because of the lack of demand, or staff (I am not sure). So there are possibilities for further development, but I would recommend it."
Vikas stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2008-02-14 and said, "The hotel location was just too good for honeymoon. Staff were too polite and approachable. They were helpful too. Food was OK and had less variety for vegetarian. As a package, I would say value for money."
andrew stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2008-02-10 and said, "This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The view from every point is second to none. I highly recommend this as a great holiday experience."
ZHU stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2008-02-08 and said, "Great sea view!Delicious food!"
YONG stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-09-26 and said, "this hotel really left me nice memory in Samui!Excellent view and excellent cook! The service is very friendly.I love this place so much, really want to go there again!"
Philippa stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-09-09 and said, "BW Samui Bayview Resort was a real disappointment. The menu was slim and the food makes you ill. Breakfast is covered in ants. The hotel is definitely not up to 4 star standards, rooms were ok, no aircon, fan only. Not what it lives up to on the websites."
Gerry stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-06-27 and said, "Hotel was set in a beautiful location but I did have several issues during my stay which annoyed me. I had orignally booked 2 rooms for myself and three kids but our visit ended up having 5 people in the group. I had to pay an additional 1000 baht per night for the extra person even though an extra bed was not required. I thought this was unnessacary as there was no additional work or expense to the Hotel. There were renovations going on 7 days per week so a lie in was not possible, also when my daughter & Partner were swimming in the pool half the workers decided to stop and have a look which the girls were a bit edgy about. The hotel had a snooker table but the cues were unusable because of the tips which were non-existent, a small gripe but still you expect all facilities to be available during your stay. Rooms were nice but the Hotel in general was a bit outdated,TV reception was very poor, no DVD players in room although available on request and the pillows were extremely hard. The staff were pleasant but I would stay somewhere else if I went back."
Shen stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-05-09 and said, "excellent hotel.15 min away from the entertainment center by moto, beautiful view of the sea from the room and from the restaurant, wonderful swimming pool, traditional furnatures, and what I m satisfied mostly is the excellent service."
Stuart stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-03-25 and said, "Good value for money. Second time staying at Best Western Samui Bayview. They are currenlty doing rennovations which were sometimes noisy and also caused one of the pools to close for 2 days. Otherwise the staff are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there. The free shuttle to Lamai and Chaweng is free and runs every hour."
Bjorn stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-03-07 and said, "Very nice hotel, great view over the sea and good location. friendly staff."
zhai stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2007-02-22 and said, "very good resort!room is veyr nice.We check out at 11 o clock, and we would go airport at 4 o clock,They let us stay in another room untill 3 o clock, and send us with there bus free to airport. We are so thankful!"
Ruan stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2006-12-09 and said, "Great view from its restaurant. Especially in the morning when having the free breakfast, it s really refreshing. Hotel rooms are clean and tidy, though the facilities are a little bit old. Breakfast is OK. Hotel staffs are quite friendly and helpful, though some of them knows little of English. Free shuttle bus to Lamai and Chaweng is quite convenient. We lived in the villa room. And it s good for its price. Recommended hotel."
Amber stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2006-07-04 and said, "Fantastic. Amazing views, superb service. The staff were so helpful. Stayed in a deluxe seaview room - very roomy with 2 queen size beds, complete with mozzie nets. DVD player in room as well which was a bonus. Beautiful pools. Would not hesitate to stay there again."
Anna stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2006-03-31 and said, "The hotel was very beautiful with fantastic views from the restaurant, pool and our room (all the photos on the website are true). The views were definitely a huge assett to this place. Rooms are clean and serviced daily with some very nice extra personal touches such as flower petals on the bed and in the bath. Was a little disappointed with the bathroom (green tiles and not a lot of light)- bathroom renovations/update would be nice. The hotel is on the hill between Chaweng and Lamai beaches and transport is definitely required to get to the beach or other restaurants, shopping. Complimentary bus service on the hour to sister hotel in Lamai was very convenient. Will definitely learn how to ride a motorbike before I come back as it would have made it a lot easier and cheaper to get around. Having said that, taxis are not very expensive and pick up trucks are even cheaper. The fact that the hotel was on the hill, away from everything, was very good for us as it is a lot more relaxing and you can still get to everything within 5-10 min.The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive(sometimes even too much)but at times it was difficult to explain certain concepts in English.Overall, it was great and we would definitely come back."
Janice stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2006-02-25 and said, "This hotel, whilst having stunning views is, in my opinion, rather tired and in need of refurbishing. The beds are the hardest I ve ever tried to sleep in. Breakfast was limited to the same boring thing morning after morning. Also it is situated on a very steep hill, so steep that some taxi drivers refused to take us up there and, unless you are a mountain goat, too much like hard work to go up on foot. It is in a very quiet location and transport is needed, because of the location, to even the closest of restaurants."
david stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-12-24 and said, "Overall a very good hotel, staff efficient and helpful. Breakfast mediocre, views superb. Location, up on a hill, hence the views, although no beach access (this has to undertaken at a sister resort) in Lami a 10 minute resort (free)mini bus ride away. A quiet, clean resort which we were pleased to have stayed in compared to some of the other places on offer."
Sunna stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-12-23 and said, "Hotel was based on a hill away from Chaweng beach, this was perfect for us as we did not want to stay on the main strip in Chaweng. The hotel organised a minibus from and to Lamai & Chaweng at certain times of the day, alternatively you could pay for the minibus which was 100B each.Hotel itself was nice, big pool area and big open restaurant. Rooms were ok, you are paying for location and hotel amenities, but rooms were clean and had hot shower (which is a luxury we found out during our trip).Staff friendly and helpful - service with a smile. If you don t want to stay in the busy resort of Chaweng, but want to be close enough to enjoy some of the great restaurants / shopping I would recommend this hotel. If you are looking for beach, bars, shops and restaurants at your doorstep you may be better off staying in the centre."
Jane stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-11-16 and said, "Hotel was very good and well worth thepromotion rate. Rooms were spaciouswith a large balcony and fantastic view.Staff very friendly and helpful especially a young lady on the receptionms Doungduan Sittra Kan. I would definitely go back! The only negative thing I would have to say is that the breakfasts could have been a bit more varied. All in all though 10 out of 10."
margaret stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-11-14 and said, "this is a wonderful hotel, exceptional in fact, its very beautiful, extemely well run, staff cant do enough to ensure your comfort, what you see in the pictures and facilities are exactly how it is, but dont show all the amenities, we had a terrific time and cant praise the hotel highly enough"
Wendy stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-10-19 and said, "Great hotel with superb views. A little bit out of the way if you re looking for peace and quiet. Free shuttles to Lamai and Chawaeng if you re not. Staff is very accommodating to any requests."
Ann stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-10-06 and said, "Fabulous. Everything was just that little bit more special than in other hotels we ve stayed at in Thailand. The views were more spectacular, the staffs smiles were genuinely wider, the rooms were spotless and beautifully presented. Easily in our top 3 and we will definitely return. Other reviews comment on the steep drive but it is not a problem as the hotel will organise transport any time."
christian stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-09-26 and said, "Really nice hotel with great oceanview, like in the movies. Good service and great value. Normally I wouldn t pay that kind of money for a hotel, but because of the season I got the promotion priceregardsChristian, Denmark"
David stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-09-24 and said, "The hotel is very lovely place to stay and the seaview is excellent, the staff are very helpful and efficent and the room is cleaned every day immaculately, one gripe is the standard of breakfast it is not benefitting of a hotel of this class."
Krishnan stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-06-28 and said, "I and my wife stayed in a sea view deluxe room for 3 days - we had a great time. Nice rooms with a great view. Its a nice hotel with a reasonable swimming pool - the other facilities were shut (Gym, Spa etc). The hotel was pretty empty when we went (end June) and they are undergoing renovations. They have a decent bus service to Chaweng and Lamai but need to improve the number of connections (more in the morning to Chaweng and in the evening to Lamai). The hotel is perfect if you want to have a quiet peaceful holiday and go into town when u want (we went for dinner and lunch). Dinner at the hotel is strictly OK - though they customised a dish for me as I was vegetarian. All in all, decent value for money and a pretty enjoyable stay."
Alastair stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-06-17 and said, "The hotel was great. Most of the hotel rooms had ocean views and the view from the restaurant and pool was fantastic. Their breakfasts which are included in the price were the best we had in Thailand - admittedly this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in on the trip. The staff were fantastic, no chance of actually emptying your beer glass. The air cond worked perfectly and the bathroom was also impressive."
Adam stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-03-28 and said, "I have been to several hotels in thailand and this was, without doubt the most friendly and efficient yet. Danny, the manager is both helpful and more importantly, available and english could be his first language! the views relaxing in the jacuzzi overlooking chaweng bay are just amazing! food is well above the norm for samui and the breakfast is enough to last all day! rooms are clean, well furnished and bright. looking forward to our return! thanks guys."
Mrs stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-03-07 and said, "This is a beautiful hotel in the hillside. Its is calm and peaceful, with very attentive and frindly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. the room was very comfortable and food was good too. It is very reasonably priced which makes it all the better. The pools are sensational and the views are breathtaking. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. If we return to Koh Samui I would only stay here."
lida stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-02-14 and said, "We booked the honeymoon suite, but that suite was already given away. the hotelmanager offered us the executive suite instead, which was a very beautiful suite. The hotel is built on a very beautiful spot and has very good service."
Laurie stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2005-01-23 and said, "Excellent--beyond our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We found the grounds and pools exceptional--beautiful and well-maintained--with magnificant views! Our room was clean and lovely (and the balcony & view superb). We really appreciated the location--minutes from Chewang and Lamai but away from the din. We definately would like to return!"
Ralph stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-11-25 and said, "Was there during the slow season so there were only 2 or 3 occupied rooms. Hotel is nice but a bit out of the way. Nothing nearby, but you wouldn t get the fantastic views otherwise. Need to walk down a long, steep hill to the main road to get a cab or truck though. Staff was very friendly, and the service and food were excellent. Pools and other facilities looked very nice and well maintained. No spa (though there are plans to make one I was told) but it s not far to the excellent spa at the Imperial."
John stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-11-09 and said, "Great"
Paul stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-10-16 and said, "From the warm welcome by the General Manager, Danny Chua and his wonderful staff through the relaxed and caring attention that they showed us we had a fantastic time.If it wasn t for my daughter s major high school exams next year we would certainly be returning to the Bayview, sooner than later. Highly recommended (ps the golf at Koh Samui s only resort course is also a must do)."
Flemming stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-07-07 and said, "It was the third time we visited Samui Bay Villa - and we were this time rather disappointed! The location of the hotel is perfect for us. The staff was - as before - very kind and helpfull - but the standard of hotel itself was too low. The garden was not well kept and as the swimmingpool rather dirty. Whem we are on holliday, we like to relax in the hotel at the swimmingpool ect. But this time all surroundings was at a very low standard. If we go back next year to Samui Bay villa the standard have to be changed to a much better and higher lewel - also the roomrate has to be at an acceptable level. This time the roomrate was too high in relation to the standard of the hotel and compared too to other hotels at Samui."
Köhler stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-02-18 and said, "It is a very quiet and relaxing resort. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is excellent, the overview is fantastic. The food is very good, the staff very polite. We enjoyed the time."
David stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-02-01 and said, "I travel all over the world and this is one of the best hotels I have used. The staff are unbeleivably helpful as are the management.I cannot fault anything about Samui Bay View Villa and Resort."
George stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2004-01-19 and said, "The Bayview Resort and Villia is as beautiful as the website pictures showed. The two-bedroom villa is well designed and decorated. However, only the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The living is without air-conditioning. The living room sliding doors are hard to open or close and I had problem locking them up properly. The staffs were mimimal but they spoke good English and were very helpful and friendly. The villas are in the woods and can be a chore walking to the resort ammenities. Looking at sunset in the overhanging pool is an experience on its own.If you are looking for tranquility and breathtaking views, this is definitely the right place to stay. However, if you are a beach goer I suggest you move to a hotel closer to downtown."
Pratip stayed at BW Samui Bayview Resort & Spa on 2003-12-26 and said, "Sorry for the late update, but am finally getting around to it. We stayed at a Villa in the premises of the resort which allowed us to use the facilities of the resort as well as the pool etc. It was really excellent and the service fast, warm, friendly and always smiling. The kids had a fantastic time and the rooms were very much beyond our expectations. Will definitely stay there again on next visit there ie Koh Samui!!!"
