The bungalow had a good size, was clean, good situated, the food in the restaurand was excellent, the staff very friendly. We will surly come again, and can recommend this small and very relaxing Resort to anybody wishing to spend quiered and romantic holidays"

They had made a mistake and not booked me in for my first night so they put me in a deluxe suite instead of the basic bungalow I had booked for that night (no complaints there! It was a beautiful air conditioned room with marble floors, power shower and TV!) then I moved for the rest of the stay into the bungalow. It was fine, basic but cheap and had everything I needed. The manageress was very nice and helpful, as were the bar/restaurant staff on the beach (with the exception of one grumpy lady who seemed to have forgotten that Thailand is the land of smiles). Very close by was an excellent restaurant called J Jing Jai - a vegetarian restaurant although it served meat dishes too and the staff there were the nicest people I met in my whole time on Samui. Would recommend it as long as you re happy to go basic."

Harry said, "Seaview bungalow nice inside but it s situated behind the bar and next to the restaurant under roof and to the kitchen. Nota nice setting as you would think. The whole resort dies not give a good outside apperance, so I would go somewhere else for my next stay. BUT the personell is kind, food good and closeness to the beach good. But if you want to sit on your balcony in the evening or not be jkept awake some night and not wake up early in the morning - pick somewhere else."

The hotel restaurant s prices are comparatively cheap and tasty. If I visit Ko Samui again I will defininitely stay there"

Peter said, "Ich bekam am ersten Tag einen Bungalow mit völlig desolatem Bad mit allen nur erdenklichen Getier.Entlich nach drei Tagen bekam ich einen sauberen Bungalow.Konnte am Strand beobachten wie der Mann der Betriebsleiterin[Fr.Goi]die Leute der von ihm vermieteten Jet Skier nach angeblichen Kratzern am Unterboden mit mindestens 300 Euro an Wiedergutmachung ²abkassierte².Das ist eine Abzocke an Touristen die dorthin nicht mehr kommen werden.Werde dieses Resort sicher nicht weiderempfehlen."

Sigrid said, "I staid in a bungalow with fa and it was okay for the rates offered during peak season. Advantage: the sea is just a minute away."

Turar said, "The hotel was very good. It is small but it was our choice. Our booked family see view bungalow was ready for us and it was located directly on the beach. The staff was very friendly. There are 4-5 new (one year old) bungalows and old bungalows (with fan). Room was very clean without any animals inside. Food was OK. I ll recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to stay in small quiet hotel on the beach."

Courtney said, "Very nice. Staff were lovely and accomodating, it was right on the beach, had very nice food, and also located on Lamai s main strip. However nightlife at Lamai Beach isn t that great. Chaweng is better if you want nightlife."

Rachel said, "lovely people and very friendly staff! the resort is very simple and our toilet did break but they were very keen to fix it and do anything to help us in the meantime! beach was beautiful and the food was good! probably more suited to backpackers than honeymooning couples! we actually simple, resonalable price, location is good, near the sea, resturant is just on the beach, nice staff, expecially the reception guy, he is very nice and warm, he can speak english well, he gave us many good suggestion and guide us how to go around the island, good service, I will stay Magic Resort again if i come to samui next time,it s worth to stay, good price and good service"

Blaha said, "I was there for 3 nights in the fun bungalow. Its very close to the beach and shopping mall. Accomodation was very simple. You will get it what are you paying for. For the next time i will go to the another hotel. Because i need something comfortable."

Dave said, "The only complaint was that the room needed a coat of paint. If one consider the price and location the coat of paint is of no value. It was confortable for the price. The room was cleaned every day and clean linen & towels were provided.As mentioned the location is great and the restaurant s setting was perfect. The food was good and real value for money.. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay there again."

Cynthia said, "We arrived, and left the next day. The bungalows are like the pictures, but the pictures fail to show the moldy ceiling tiles, and rotting moldy bathroom door, which was non existant 1 foot from the floor. The mold was bad and my fiance got hayfever within hours, so we left although had paid for several nights. The service was friendly, but the mold has to be taken care of, and the bed needs a solid platform rather than bits of 1/4 wall board overlayed each other."

Megan said, "The bungalows are nice but basic...you get what you pay for. The staff is friendly, but the best part is the beach. It s beautiful! Magic is also in Lamai town, so nightlife, restaurants and 7-11 are minutes away. Have to go back to Samui to catch a flight and will definitely stay here again."

Stefanie said, "As we saw the bungalows online from the magic resorts we liked it very much, but the reality was different. We didn´t stay in a bungalow, it was a house with lot of rooms. And it wasn´t direktly on the beachThe room was ok, was clean, but the toilett was broken and we had a lot of cockroaches in our room. Finally I must say, that the bungalow area is very dirty, there was a lot of waste everywhere.If you don´t want to stay long in your room it is ok, but in my opinion it is to expensive."

Nick said, "Friendly smiley staff, my bungalow was very clean and 30 seconds from beach. However it was very basic with the only real amenity the aircon unit. If you only want to use room as place to sleep in airconditioned comfort, then Magic will be fine for you"
