David stayed at Anantara Resort & Spa Koh Samui on 2006-11-19 and said, "Lovely hotel - service & food are brilliant, wonderful pool on a great beach. Looks amazing and very romantic at night with the entire resort lit by lanterns. Lovely breakfasts. Rooms are a touch on the small side by thai standards (standard western size though) but nicely finished. We have stayed at many resorts on Samui (Sala Samui, Le Meridien, Santiburi) and would definately return to Anantara. Nice walk down the beach to Bophut Fishermans Village. The cooking class is a must! Very good value for the room rate."

The resort is on a beach that is clean and safe, but the water is not as beautiful as you will find on Cheweng Beach. We would highly recommend Anantara to any traveler!"
