Mariapaola stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-07-06 and said, "Great place, I was travelling solo and was welcomed, got suggestions on places to go, had a good time in general, thanks to the owner and the rest of the staff. The place is very funky, the rooms are clean and confortable, and just across the street from the beach (southern end of Chaweng, much more quite than the rest of the beach). I strongly recommend this place to everybody."
Ethan stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-07-05 and said, "Arrived at Akwa 21:30, met with Patrick & was shown the room at the ground floor. There is an electrical failure in that room & was told to take it or stay at 4th floor & move the next day.Upon entering the room, it was really damp & stink. Water doesn t flow well in the bathroom as well & toilet bowl valve not working properly, keeps on refueling, never stops.Because of the short circuit, Pat told me it wipe out the data in the computer which of my years working in computer still amazes me how it could happen. Luckily I brought my printout receipt. Conclusion, AKWA looks good on pic but its time to do maintenance"
Michael stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-05-26 and said, "If you are single and going to Koh Samui you have to stay at Akwa Guesthouse. The rooms are nice but more importantly the staff is excellent at making you feel welcome. My room was on the second floor and was only a 1-minute walk to the Akwa eating area, which has a great assortment of foods to choose from. The location is great as its situated not too far nor not to close to the downtown area. I was able to sleep at night without hearing a sound. I ve heard a few people complain about this hotel but I cant for the life of me figure out why, but if you want to spend $300.00 a night then be an idiot and find some overpriced hotel to stay at. This is the best bed and breakfast hotel to stay at hands down. As an American I ve stayed in many bed and breakfast hotels but never one as cool, and laid back as the Akwa Hotel. I look forward to going back this time with friends. Michael JohnsonHouston Texas USA"
Yen stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-05-25 and said, "When I arrived at the hotel, they were quite busy and the reception/dining area was a bit cramped but managed to get the job done. This guesthouse is really a good value. Housekeeping does a great job. They offer little ammenities that most places charge you such as free rental of books and dvds and they put nice little touches in your room such as flowers and candles and laundry detergent. The dining area and food was decent and the drinks are pretty good. The only drawback is since they are not beachside, you have to sit on the sand or rent chairs. But the beach is right across the street from the building I was staying at. The other two buildings are a short distance away. Chaweng Beach is definitely the best spot on Koh Samui. It has nice sand and warm, calm and clear water."
Sabrina stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-05-01 and said, "Akwa Guesthouse was the greatest place we ve been on our whole trip to Thailand. Akwa is special, different and like home. Every room is an individual room and looks special. They put all those tiny little important things in there that make you feel like at mama house. You get a hairdryer, message board, dvd player, books, dvds, body lotion e.g. After our trip down to Koh Samui we really enjoyed to relax in our beautiful and colourful Micky Mouse room and loved to come back to Akwa after 5 days spended on Koh Phangan."
Hannah stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-03-26 and said, "I was thoroughly disappointed by my experience at Akwa guesthouse. The guesthouse did not accept credit cards to pay the remaining balance of our bill which meant having to go off and find a cashpoint. When we finally got to our room (when taken on a 10 minute walk down the road and down a dark back alley opposite a kareoke bar) we had to climb four flights of stairs to get to our room. The room was clean and pleasantly decorated although on closer inspection our main patio door did not lock. When we told the owner we were unhappy to sleep there he offered to mend the door or begrudgingly give us a refund. We chose a refund as it was 9pm by this time only to find that he had tried to short change us and charge us a 20% booking fee. I would attempt to stay here again."
Paul stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-03-18 and said, "The guesthouse and staff were brilliant from start to finish. Very friendly and accomadating, they have thought about everything you could need and it is there for you, with the quirky Akwa style of course. 11 out of 10 for our stay and we exteneded by nearly five days and will be back there on our return to the island"
Deirdre stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-03-02 and said, "Absolutely awful! We booked a standard room, and I don t know who s standards they were following, but wet floor, damp wall, ants everywhere & no room to swing a cat isn t up to anybody s standards. We checked out 5 mins after we checked in. When we were shown our room, the guy just gave us the key and legged it, there was a view of a concrete wall, I locked the door and the knob came off in my hand, however there was an escape route out the window, which didnt lock at all. We did get the most of our money back, but what an awful experience."
Marcel stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-03-02 and said, "Extremly nice questhouse. We really felt like staying at a friends house, there are so many nice details in the room. We extended our stay from 2 to 6 nights. Breakfast, Restaurant and Drinks are also very good. Beach is just across the street. We would definetly come back to Akwa on our next Koh Samui trip."
ronald stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-02-18 and said, "stayed in penthouse and would NEVER STAY here again, room not as advertised ) no place to put clothes in a large room, service was atrocious, when asked about repeated lack of any water pressure)owner yelled at me! Staff in restaurant very unhappy and surly! coffee maker in room moldy!"
RICHARD stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-02-08 and said, "THIS WAS OWER FIRST TIME IN KOHSAM,READ REVIEWS AND DECIDED TO STAY AT AKWA ALL THAT YOU READ IN THE REVIEWS IS SPOT ON,THE ROOMS ARE NISE AND CLEAN PLENTY OF SUPRISE THINGS TO FIND SCATTERD AROUND,TEA COFFIE IN ROOM,BEACH TOWELLS,VERY HELPEFULL STAFF,NISE SERVISE TIM & LEE,THANKS AGAIN"
arlene stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-02-08 and said, "everything about Akwa is perfect. The location - just across the road from the beach and at the quieter end of Cheweng beach but close enough to get to all the action. Staff were superb, so friendly and relaxed, the food at the restaurant was great, and the rooms, well lets just say I know where I will be telling everyone to book on Koh Samui !!!"
Deborah stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-01-25 and said, "Fantastic place will defenitly book again. Everyone was lovely and friendly. I was traveling alone and found it all very safe thankyou to all the people there for making me feel welcome and at home. Debbi"
Lin stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-01-10 and said, "Very nice room and great service. Would stay again."
Elise stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2008-01-09 and said, "Our stay at Akwa was great. We stayed in a standard room which had all the necessities you need for a short stay. The room was funky and colourful and the bed was awesome, with a soft doona and soft pillows! There are 2 buildings for Akwa and the standard rooms are in building 2 which is in a small street off Chaweng Rd and about 2 mins from the main Akwa building. The steps inside the building are a little steep and uneven but you get used to it. There are dvd s available for you to borrow. Breakfast is not included in your stay package, however you can head to the Akwa restaurant where all day breakfast is available. The breakfast set that we had was fantastic! Tim (the owner) was really nice and helpful and did not even get mad when we told him that we had accidentally broken one of the glass ledges in the bathroom (oops!). Overall Akwa is great value for money and a wonderful place to stay, i would probably upgrade to the deluxe rooms next time!"
Inna stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-12-14 and said, "It was really good value for this price. The stuff vere very frendly and helpfull, room very cosy and nice, you have really home athmosfere, all the small things, like orchids next to your bed, travel books, free dvd library- i felt like i visiting my friend house."
Michael stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-12-03 and said, "Great service. Tim is extremely helpful. The place is clean and the food is good. Wifi works great."
ALEXEY stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-11-18 and said, "Very good guesthouse with very friendly personnel! I d stay here when I ll be on Koh Samui next time and will recommend this guesthouse to my friends."
Miss stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-11-03 and said, "We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night but wished we had found it earlier. It is right on the main strip and above the hotels bar and diner but the rooms were quirky and fun with lots of little extras such as a dvd player and extensive lending library, books nice toiletries and a great hand written guide on the island and where to go. The attention to detail was amazing and made up for the fact that there was no pool etc (the beach was only a minutes walk away). Food in the bar were great and we were greeted with a warm welcome, cocktails were great when made by the management but a bit ropey and slow when made by the local waitresses. Overall I would def. recommend if your wanting a great guest house in a central location, top marks!"
Inbar stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-10-14 and said, "Was by far the best hotel experience I had in Thailand. It felt almost like home when I really needed it. The attention to the small things in the room was something rare to fine in Thailand: the DVD in the room, movie marathon to your choice, flowers, radio even flashlight in every room when you go to the city and its dark... And all of it with the best taste of decoration. I loved it! Thanks a lot to Tim and the stuff, very charming people. I m sure I ll come again next time."
Eimear stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-10-05 and said, "Akwa Guesthouse, was amazing! The room was Fab with everything you could imagine! The staff are so friendly and helpfull. The food was beautifull, everything was great and would be back in a flash!"
YONG stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-09-24 and said, "Very very clean guesthouse with modern art design. But just pay more attention the steap stair and notice that the checking in time is 2PM."
Brian stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-09-10 and said, "Had a great time. Staff were extremely friendly, felt very much at home. Very relaxed and informal. The room was impressive and the price reasonable. Would definitely recommend"
Kathrin stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-08-10 and said, "We were really happy with the hotel. It is right in the centre of Chaweng and the beach is so close by. We wanted to stay there again but unfortunately it was booked out."
cheryl stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-07-03 and said, "I actually do not have a clue where to start, I have never written a review ever, let alone on this Internet thing. I booked my room via sawadee.com as everyone I spoke to in the UK said this web site thingy was the best way to book a hotel in Thailand. They were right. Thou I did have a budget, and I had lots of issues travelling. I had to think about youngsters and distance to another hotel, as it worked out. Yet I was so happy. In my silly Internet experience I chose to book via what my friends and colleagues told me to do. George and Mary said they had stayed at akwa guesthouse and said it was the Bees Knees. It was and is far more than I could ever have expected. I was more than happy with the hotel yet is is a guest house. It is right at the south end of Chaweng, I think and the beach is across the road. My friends wanted to stay aqua as well but unfortunately it was booked out when they tried to book. Yet the service was more than any one could ever expect, everyone was very accommodating. I came with a friend (who could not stay at akwa as it was full) and their 2 little girls aged 6 and 7, who back home, I look after every second day! Lee and Tim and their wonderful staff could not have done enough to help me. Thai people just love kids. I knew from the moment I arrived and Lee took my hand and plonked me on the sofa - which was my home for most of the next few weeks, it would all be perfect. I was in the right place. I know it is difficult to tell any one Yet I have never ever been given Roses of any colour. Ever, by any one! Never in my life as a publican, nor ever looked after like these wonderful group of people cared for me, it was like I was like a long lost sister. Lee went to Tesco and purchased a stroller for the Kiddies. Tim made sure I always had my fix of a mega cup of coffee in the morning and was the first man ever to give me Roses. I have the pictures, I am blessed. I was looked after like a Queen, The kids were looked after like their Dad’s were Tim or Lee. The service, the DVD Player that kept the kids happy, The Maid Ben who always smiled and laughed regardless what was asked, and Nok, Fon, Ang, Jum and Lee were all very special. Yet Lee and Tim pulled all the strings and wished to take no credit for any thing. Yet they were the Dream every one lives for....... A very happy Cheryl and Maree Wilson"
Nachelle stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-05-29 and said, "Place was awesome and everyone was very accommodating will defineately recommend it to people visiting Samui. Thanks heaps to all the staff."
Phillip stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-03-07 and said, "Just a great experience. Next time I will book earlier as this place fills up quickly and we were lucky to get a room at all. With such incredible attention to detail and very personal service it is hard to compare AKWA to other guesthouses. The decore is unique and everything you could need is provided inluding a great DVD collection and travel guides. Tim and Lee were both fun and great help to us; We were steered off our initial travel route to another Island that was just so incredible it made our whole vacation. Would have missed it without Tim s advice. We will definately be back. Great sevice, great rooms, great attitude, great fun."
Neil stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-03-03 and said, "The best room of our month of vacation in Thailand. My wife and I felt at home and very comfortable at Akwa. Tim and his staff are to be commended for their hospitality. I would recommend anyone who is going to stay on Samui to make sure they make reservations at Akwa to insure they have the best accomodations for the price. Thank you, Tim, for all your help."
Chris stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-02-26 and said, "Great place to stay if you don t mind stairs. The stairs are unbelievable steep which was a bit of an issue as we were travelling with my 70 year old parents. Once in, you really need to decide if you need to go out. Stairs aside, very clean, great staff, terrific bar with good food downstairs."
zhai stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-02-18 and said, "room is nice, the price is expensive."
Philip stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-02-12 and said, "It was the most wonderful thing to arrive at Akwa after 20 hours of travel to a warm and friendly greeting (thanks Lee) and a spotless and comfortable room. Tim and Lee and all the staff made us feel at home, and comfortable to just hang around the bar for a beer, many cocktails (over 50 to choose from, but #15 is the best) and some great stories. The rooms were very colorful and we had fun discovering all the eccentric accessories (I want a P-man for my bedside table!!!). We will most definitely be returning to Akwa on our future trips to Koh Samui. Thanks again Tim, Lee and all the staff - Shannon & Phil, Australia"
Terry stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-02-03 and said, "An excellent guesthouse (best we encountered in seven weeks in Thailand)with very friendly staff and owner.I would highly recommend this place, but not if stairs worry you."
Selena stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-01-20 and said, "Excellent! We stayed in a 5 star place the first night then moved to Akwa for the rest of our stay and it was much cleaner than the five star. Could not fault. So many little extras that no other hotel would ever offer."
John stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2007-01-17 and said, "As everybody else has already said, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the beach was really nearby, the food was good and the staff (especially Tim) were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating with early check ins and late check outs. Highly recommended to anyone who is staying in Chaweng. And yes, the beds really are as comfortable as everyone else has said, and there are 11 pillows!!"
Lauren stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-12-23 and said, "The Akwa Guesthouse was an amazing place to stay on Koh Samui. Because it is small the taxi driver didn t know it, but it was easy for us to spot when we drove down the main street. Our room was fun and clean and the bed was really comfortable. You can tell that the attention to detail in decor really means the hotel itself is well cared for, as well as the guests. The food at the restaurant is delicious, and the beach really is just across the road. Tim was really helpful, and took the time to bargain a taxi for us when we left. I wouldnt hesitate to stay there if I ever return to Koh Samui, and will definately tell all of my friends."
NK stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-12-15 and said, "Nothing like this place... Your home away from home... Tim & Lee are like your long lost pals.. Thank you guys for making this a memorable stay !!! The small little things that were taken care of.. the tips and the chats over beer.. I wana come back again - Inarguably the best place in Samui.. as they say.. It can t get better than that. Thanks Tim... thank you Lee we guys miss you for sure.. The place was impeccable.. everything as stated on the web.. and trust me it was much better than what was said.. Recommended for everyone with a taste !!"
melinda stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-12-08 and said, "Couldn t fault this place. people were welcoming [thanks peter], rooms were gorgeous and had everything on offer, even a dvd library. little welcoming notes everywhere, explaining everything around the room. highly recommend."
Evie stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-12-08 and said, "From the moment I booked a room at AKWA I was made to feel so welcomed with the back and forth e-mails with Tim I knew we were coming to the right place. I was excited to stay here, so imagine my surprise and almost panic when we arrived and were told by the girls that there were no rooms. However the girls still welcomed us with fresh ice cold orange juice and a WONDERFUL lunch until Lee arrived and solved the booking confusion. We have really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are fun and the pillows and blankets are AWESOME!! The most surprising to us is the food, it is some of the best food we have ever had. Every one is so helpful and nice and they really go out of their way to make AKWA a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back, we will miss you all and the amazing Tuna Sandwiches ? Yum! Evie and Tom Allen , Arizona USA"
Conny stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-11-20 and said, "Besides our unlucky start on Koh Samui (Airlines) we found everything we expected from AKWA!! As all comments I read on Sawadee.com we cannot say anything less about AKWA. AKWA is one of the best; we expect a very good guesthouse and ended up in one of the BEST. What do we need more, they thought about every thing. As a woman I never expected an Iron in a room, Woowh!! Even a 4 Stars Hotel can’t provide me an Iron!!! But most of all we are so lucky to meet smiling faces with a warm welcome!! Thats one of the most precious things in a persons life!! Thank you so much, we will come again next year. Terry and Conny, Holland."
Jennifer stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-11-18 and said, "We absolutely loved staying at AKWA!! Even from our first moments we were made to feel so welcome! The rooms are fabulous well equipped and beautifully decorated. We loved the location as well, 30 seconds from the beach and not too far from the main nightlife although the guesthouse bar makes the best cocktails!!!! The beers are not too shabby either! Tim, Lee and the girls are such excellent hosts. WE LOVED IT!!! Jenny and Rachael, Scotland"
Jennifer stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-11-18 and said, "Second time around and the place keeps on getting better with even more useful and quirky touches added. Once again we’ve felt very at home here and our week at AKWA has flown by much too quickly. We only hope that the place continues to go from strength to strength and look forward to returning on our next trip to Thailand. Keep up the good work Tim, Lee and the team and we will continue to spread the word about Akwa Lloyd and Bex (jobless, homeless, London England) We absolutely loved staying at AKWA!! Hans-Göran stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-11-11 and said, "You guys really embody what we in Sweden call “Hostmanshipâ€? As your guests we felt very welcome and extremely cared for. All the little details you have thought about, it is amazing: A drink while you check in, flowers in the room, the incense, the possibility to use beach towels, the great breakfast, all the little notes everywhere explaining everything, the sweet on the door knob to say good night, always fresh water, DVD Library for free (not that we used it) everything you could have wished for really. Except maybe a line in the bathroom to dry cloths. The room was big, nice looking, the bed was gorgeous. This place really made us feel at home and we are glad that we decided to celebrate part of our honeymoon here. Thank you. Martha and Hans-Gorgan Puke, Sweden …â?.. Akwa Guesthouse is an absolute first class guesthouse. Tim was really friendly and helpful and the rooms were as good as any five star hotel. Wish we had stayed longer and will definitely stay here again on next visit to Samui. Stephen Hickman UK"
Hayley stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-10-17 and said, "We stayed at AKWA on the basis of the reviews on websites, and were so pleased that we did! This is the nice end of the beach area. The nearby beach was gorgeous, and the recommendations for hotels and restaurants were spot on for us. The Staff have been attentive and very helpful and the DVD Library proved a surprising plus. Little details like the good coffee, good shampoo, and English language newspapers helped make the experience we will recommend and maybe come back ourselves! Hayley and Mark Cambridge, UK …â?â€?We have been many times to Koh Samui staying at hotels, but our stay in AKWA has been by far the best. Tim and his staff have been wonderful; they could not have been more helpful, friendly and such fun. The rooms could not be faulted along with the service. We have a little Saying in Wigton; It isn’t what we own or buyThat signifies our wealthIt’s the little gifts you cannot buyOur family, friends and healthMary and George, Hazel and Jimmy Wigton, UK …â?.."

The Staff, The Food, and The Room were just wonderful, Could not ask for a better place to spend a holiday, Enjoyed being so close to the beach, just a short walk away, Beach is clean, water warm! Dave and Kingkan, Santa Barbara, CA, USA …â?.. AKWA is amazing! People Friendly, room fantastic. This was such a highlight of my trip. Everything is perfect. Don’t feel guilty leaving the room! Stephen stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-10-01 and said, "This is an absolute first class guesthouse. Tim was really friendly and helpful and the rooms were as good as any five star hotel. wish we had stayed longer and will definately stay here again on next visit to Samui."
Mark stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-09-20 and said, "AKWA is by far the best place I have stayed in Thaland. The rooms are spotless and have been put together with incredible style. The owners and all of the staff are very kind, sociable and helpful. I loved the breakfasts that kept me going until evening. I can find no major faults since the guesthouse is obviously run with great care. Mark McGuinness - England"
Gili stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-09-18 and said, "Lovely Service. We had a great stay at AKWA. The Bed, The Pillows, The DVD and The stylish room Thanks for the great service and recommendations, tips, and helping us find another place to stay, as you were fully booked when we wanted to extend We will remember you our entire trip. Shirly and Gili, Israel in all the variety of guesthouses and hotels we have been, this is definitely a special place!! This is a place which made us feel that you (AKWA) really wanted us to come and enjoy our stay here. All the little details that made us feel at home, thank you for that, even the small toy puppy dog sitting on the bed to welcome us, made the atmosphere of home complete. If we come back to Koh Samui (and we definitely will) AKWA is the place we will stay in. Be sure we will tell all our friends about AKWA. Ella and Stas Israel Shirly and Gili, Israel"
Marcus stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-09-15 and said, "“Officially the Best Place in Thailand!â€?The first place that does exactly what its says on the Tin!! The room was exactly as it was portrayed on the net (a first for us!) The comfiest bed, pillows to die for and to prove it the only lie-in we have had in 7 Months of travelling (we usually rush to get out of our hotels!!) We have had the worst luck ever with other places but every problem we came across, Tim the owner was there to sort it out, I don’t know what we would have done without his patience, friendliness and valuable advice!! The AKWA Guesthouse is small enough for the personal touch, all the staff knowing and greeting you â€?(even if you’re a mile away from the hotel they recognise you!) Only bad point I have to make is a big one â€?MY DIET IS RUINED!! The breakfast, which is included, is the Best, we are British and we know our breakfasts!! The great thing is the variety, freshness and being able to be flexible and what you eat (no alarm at 6am to get it while you can!) We would stroll down when we were ready to eat not when we were told to! The location is fantastic, far enough away from the noise but close enough to have a night out and only 30 baht to get home. That is if you can drag yourself out of AKWA. The hotels DVD library takes some getting through â€?ideal if it rains or you just want to relax, lie in bed, order some food and watch a great film. We WILL be back and WE WILL be telling everybody we know about this place. If you’re reading this and your not going to book â€?more fool you â€?it’s the biggest mistake you’ll ever make!! Thank you Tim and the Staff for such a wonderful time in Samui!! You have 2 friends for life…â? Hasta la vista mi amigo!!! Emma and Marcus â€? England Well where do I start. What a Place!! The Rooms are very classy with great artwork, with nice canvasses. Also in the room you have a manual which covers every thing you which to know about Koh Samui and I mean “EVERYTHINGâ€?Tim is fantastic, he is so helpful, our time in Samui would have been ruined without Tim’s help, advice and general friendliness. The breakfast included kept me going all day. The Orange Juice is to die for. I believe that Tim knows exactly what holidaymakers want with the 8 feather pillows on the bed, Radio, MP3 Player, and DVD Player. We have been travelling 7 Months and I’ve also been to a lot of countries, and AKWA is up there with the best! I will be letting every body know about AKWA Guesthouse. The worst thing about it is we have to leave. “This is definitely my home away from homeâ€?Great Place, Great Staff, Thanks a lot Tim 9the best Aussie we have met) Marcus Jones and Emma England"
Racheal stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-09-07 and said, "Planning to stay 1 Day then off to Koh Toe, not going to happen. Trip is extended due to the terrific staff. Tim the owner and Eric make it feel lime home, never going to leave!! Just Kidding!! The service is exceptional well worth every Baht. I will let all my friends, family and future clients know about AKWA. Well done Mate!! Rick Chadwick, Sacramento CA, USA don’t forget to mention the superb rooms, what more to ad to heaven except six down pillows and comforter. Yet as stated it is the service from Tim and Erica that has kept us here. If you get advice from Tim take it, he wont steer you wrong! Just a fabulous holiday, with all the comforts of home!!! Racheal Frederick, Sacramento CA, USA"
Melissa stayed at Akwa Guesthouse on 2006-09-01 and said, "This hotel was fantastic! The service was perfect and so was the coffee. I loved the decorations in the rooms (ie the Mr P Lamp, door hook and crazy toilet brush) The management (Tim) was so helpful it was shocking! I have come to Koh Samui many times and this was by far the most comfortable and “WesternThe Pillows were SO amazing. Koh Samui itself is getting too developed for my taste, but anyone I know coming here I will tell them 100 percent to stay here! Melissa Clarkson, USA"
