Anna said, "Nice staff. The rooms were clean but to much ceramics if you have children who like their sound. We had a bad view into an other bungalow and a bunch of mosquitos. I will choose another place to stay next time on Koh Samet."
Magnus said, "Terrible smell from the drainage ditch. Worn out interior. Cheap but not worth its price."
said, "This hotel was just off the beach-a great central location. The room was adequate, although the bathroom was pretty poor-we dreaded taking showers. They did make up our room each day and gave us a fresh towel whenever we asked."
Chan said, "Very Bad Experience. Totally overprice! No hot water, old furniture and near the rubbish ditch. I will not living in this Villa again when I come to koh Samet."
Patrick said, "Nice hotel. Simple but ok. beach chairs are free and we did not have a waterpressure problem."
PAUL said, "Room was very large with very quiet and efficient air conditioning. The bathroom was basic with poor water pressure but this was not a problem. The staff at the resort and at the restaurant were very helpful, freindly and also courteous and we were all on first ane terms within a few days. Our only critism would be the included breakfast at an adjoining restaurant, it was very poor often cold and not particularly clean, we ate the included breakfast only 3 of the 8 days. We are all looking forward to a return visit and hopefully staying in the same room, we had a wonderfull holiday made even better by the staff at this establishment."
ANDREA said, "The hotel was very good. The staff was very friendly en helpful. Great buffet breakfast & dinner menu .It is an beautifull place whit fantastic sea. Only bad pressure of hot water in the shower ."
Mr.Dulce said, "Too noisy at night because it is very close to a bar. We have requested to move to another room which was better but also noisy in the morning because the staff spoke too loud. The price is too expensive for the conditions of the rooms. Location is not bad, but the price is not worth it. Staff at the restaurant were a bit lazy and could not speak good english, but reception staff was nice!"
Maria said, "The hotel was really bad! the service was horrible, or actually there wasn t any service. The people were really rude. We had a terrace, which was right on the sidewalk, where people were walking all the time, so there wasn t any privacy at all."
Darren said, "Good room, good location, good breakfast, would stay here again if I return to Koh Samet."
KEITH said, "Idea location, our room was a matter of seconds away from the white sand beach, which is very clean. The room was spacious and cleaned daily to a good standard. There are numerous good restaurants around you at the beach to choose from.Would definately book there again."
Lars said, "The bungalow was okey and well worth the price. Good location on the best? beach on Koh Samet I will return."
Tore said, "super nice staff in front desk. when we wanted to extend our stay they were excellent.fine, fresh rooms, but bathrooms where a bit simple. bad pressure of hot water in the shower. no hot water in the the sink.the hotel is situated directly on a beautiful beach."
Lisa said, "Picturesque setting, Bungalow fairly basic, & shower power very weak. All in all it served the purpose for the price paid, If givin the choice go for one of the newer Bungalows towards the beach."
Tim, said, "We were treated very well and had a great time. The room was fine and the staff was great. We would return and I would recommend."
suzanne said, "On our arrival we were placed in a dark dingy disgusting room, however after complaining we were moved to a much lighter and clean room which was fine, however the standards were not brilliant and there were much nicer rooms on other resorts for a fraction of the cost, I would not recommend Saikee Villa."
Justin said, "This hotel was definitely below expectations. We had a special A/C double room but the double bed was two single beds pushed together. The beds and pillows were also hard and uncomfortable with vinyl covers. The bathroom was not particularly clean and the showers had no pressure at all and had a really nasty smell. The TV had bad reception and, although we did not spend much time in the room, we kept having power blackouts whenever we were there. The breakfast (and the restaurant in general) was crap (definitely eat somewhere else as there are some great places in the area) and there were mangy dogs everywhere (including on the porch of our room). The rooms had huge gaps under the door and some around the windows so it was impossible to keep the hordes of mosquitos away (and we even found a lizard in our room). On the positive side, the location is great and the room rate seemed the cheapest on this website (but was still expensive by Thai standards). I would not stay here again."
Denis said, "good location, friendly staff but beds very hard, good beach and good resturant."
Fredrik said, "Busy beach with a lot of action.Best thing was the evenings when the restaurants laid out mats on the beach. The hotel itself is difficult to judge. Room style differs a lot. Our deluxe twin had AC but the beds were bad. Pillow and matress had vinyl covers."
Carina said, "We nice rooms. The only thing to complain about is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable. But everything else was just perfect so we really reccommend the place anyway and we would definitely stay there again!"
Franz said, "Excellent location, in the middle of Hat Sai Kaew beach. Nice Am or Cont breakfast. Our villa had AC and a very good and spaceous fridge! The cleaning was ok, such as new sheets and towels every day and they mopped the floors. The water pressure in the shower is bad though. Overall it is a very good place to stay when on Samed Island!"
Marie-Laurence said, "Clean rooms. Good food. But extremely noisy during Xmas time. We did not sleep for 5 days. Drunk people screeming and doing quad bike in the middle of the night, dogs barking, roosters, noisy staff early in the morning."
Michael said, "Basic and rather rustic, for the price it was ok, staff at the desk were not too helpful but I think it was a busy time. I was really uncomfrotable with all of the mosquitos so bring your spray and inscence or pick it up at 7-11, it worked well but the cottages are in the woods just enough to atrract many a flying critter. I d opt to go upmarket next time and stay an Ao or 2 down the island, fewer people, fewer bars and a place with screens that were intact...this place had big holes in thiers....otherwise clean and comfy bed so that is a plus. Bathroom was bleak tho, fyi...very very basic and the shower hose worked poorly."
Denis said, "This complex has two sections which is not clear from the website. I hot shower but simple. The bed was very hard. The resturant,10 steps from my room extended to the beach. Staff were very friendly and in the evening we could sit on mats with small tables directly on the beach and enjoy a fine selection of grilled fish at a very modest price. I would go back any time."
Jonas said, "We had a very nice time on Koh Samet and Saikaew Villa. Very good service, nice rooms and close to restaurants and the beach. Thank you!!"
Koh said, "The room was relatively clean and service was good. However, the roof and building design traps heat in the room making it very stuffy at night despite the fan. Maybe the room could be aired in the day before guests check in so that its cooler at night?"
Fincken said, "We had a basic beachside fan room. Although there were no thrills it was clean and quite sufficient for our needs. This was our second trip so I think that says it all. Beautiful location, helpful staff, superb meals, I m sure we will be back again in the future."
Mr.Greg said, "Great central location on Koh Samet beach where all the dinner on the beach restarants are. Room was very clean and well kept-exceeded my expectations for a dlx fan room. Also appreciated that the mosquitos seem to be minimum in this area vs. the other more heavily forested areas that have many of these pesky critters."
Dennis said, "great villas and frendley service will stay again next year, electic was a problem but so was it elsewhere on sametmany thanks to the staff at saikaew villasfor a great stay."
