Bo said, "This place is good if you want to stay at a calm place where nothing much happens. After dinner there is not really anything you can do. Good food at restaurant and very nice staff."
Christer said, "Excellent situated in a quiet area.Very friendly and helpful staff.Clean Pool and Poolarea.Beautiful Palmtrees and flowers.Excellent food with many options on the menu.Free transportation to Ban Phe for further ferry transportation to the beautiful island Koh Samet"
Stefan said, "Hotel middle of nowhere. Beach and pool nice but thats all."
Ingela said, "We can recommend this 3 stars hotel where we spend some days including New years eve,a wunderful evening with good food and show entertainment. The Hotel is clean with good service and food The beach is one of the best. We realy enjoyed our stay there and when we arrived to our room late in the evening we found a Palmeraie bag as a gift from the Hotel we were totaly pleased and thankful."
Maria said, "Quiet and calm. though we would suggest some ambient entertainment. Probably some activities during the daytime, like in house entertainment, some acoustic musicians would do great, considering that the majority of your visitors are of the foreign genre. or if its got a conservative theme, some in-house cd music would do. The staff were polite, this much i could say, as there were no problems with our room.In the restaurant, the piano player (Michael) was adaptive and nice, but honestly, he really needs a new sound system. The place is secured and safe, and turned out to be a cool place for our kids, specially the poolside. The massage services were a little expensive but affordable, they charge double the rates comparative to those outside. We would recommend this place for people who would value safety and lucidity more than ever. In a way, you should realize that youre in the middle of nowhere, so dont expect anything fancy when youre there. (like technology or shopping) believe me.. there is None of these. but hey, they have travel services available if you just want to go wherever you want to.(so youre not exactly boxed up. hehe)My family gave the Palmeraie (pronounced as PALMEREEH)a score of 7 out of 10, since we just want to get out of the hustles and bustles of city life. Oh by the way, when the taxi asks where youre heading, the hotel is not exactly in Rayong. Its in Klaeng (KLENG), so as you wont suffer additional charges due to misdirections. This hotel we would recommend for the family. Thanks Palmeraie for the pleasant stay. The Ramos Family:Herb,Goreti,Erica and Veronica"
Mr. said, "To crowded with Scandinavian families, otherwise a nice place far from everything but the beach. Very nice reception staff, one with good knowledge in English."
Carol said, "Very nice and quiet hotel with very friendly staff - the room was excellent and there was a nice pool.Quite a long way from Ban Phe which might not suite some people"
Mr. said, "Very nice place to relax some days from crowded BKK. Very far from everything exept the great beach. You have to stay inside the hotel area if you don t have a car. Free taxi to Bang Pee everyday anyhow! Staff are very friendly but not so good in English."
Archana said, "Great place and a beautiful beach. We had a deluxe pool view rooms which were interconnected. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was a most relaxing weekend .Definitely worth a second visit!"
Paul said, "Gorgeous place to spend some quality time just soaking up the wonderful Thai atmosphere.Fantastic beach, brilliant staff, lovely food."
Fredrik said, "A really nice place. Clean and comfortable. Clean and calm beach.Perfect for us who wanted a calm time. Not for those seeking hectic night life.We will definetily go back. Thanks for a wonderful week."
Michael said, "No complaints about the service, but the quality of the resort doesn t fit the price. It s a little old and needs some maintinance. The restaurant is a little expensive also. Overall we enjoyed the resort. If the lowered the price a little it would be perfect."
Thoumazou said, "A lovely stay for the beach, the swimmingpool, the garden and the music s live animation at night during the dinner. A nice and quiet place but it misses nautics sports and the bicycles s rent is too expensive."
Mr.Robert said, "Quiet hotel with pleasant rooms and good pool area. Staff very helpful, breakfast not bad. Beach is hardly used but offers great swimming (not clear enough for snorkelling though). Best to stay here if you have transport as there is nothing in the immediate area but there are excellent (and cheapest in Thailand?) seafood restaurants about 7 km away."
Andrew said, "A beautiful and peaceful resort that caters to families. Sand and surf far superiour to the nearby popular resorts. It gets a 5 sticker award from our 4 year old twins!"
John said, "We were delighted with our stay at Palmeraie. The rooms, service and facilities were tops. The restaurant was good and the food , both Thai and western, was delicious. We enjoyed a family holiday on site without the need to visit Rayong which is about half an hour taxi ride away. The pool, beach, tennis and ping pong were just what we wanted. We chartered a boat for an enjoyable day trip to the islands. We booked through the hotel, but would have got a much cheaper deal if we had walked 300 metres up the beach to a local dive boat operator. The hotel prepared a good sandwich picnic, esky and ice, and the boat picked us up off the hotel beach."
Peter said, "It is a nice hotel with a nice poolarea. What we found disturbing was that we were totaly isolated out at Palmeraie. As other writers have said, the beach is nothing to write home about. It is impossible to leave the hotel without using their travelservice at 4 times the regular prices. There are no taxis driving this far out. Also the food, drinks and thai massage (over 900 Bath per 45 minutes ??!) are so much moore expensiv. If we would have known how far out and deserted this place was, we would certenly not have stayd here."
Tommie said, "Very nice and perfect located right on the beach. Good service and a very nice restaurang both for breakfast as well as for dinner. Bus shuttle service complementary."
Mr said, "Nice hotel, located at a long beach. The pool is OK. Quiet surroundings. Close to Ban Phe, 30 minutes with the local bus."
Peter said, "It was the best hotel that i have eaver the staf was wonderful and helpful. I strongly recommend it for a relaxing time in the sun."
Mr.Kjell said, "We highly appreciated the kindness and the great hospitality given to us by the alla members of the staff. We also appreciated the beautiful garden and the pool. The restaurant: 3 (Scale 1-5)The beach: 1+ (There were lots of wreckage from the navigation). This was a disapointment but we compensated this lack with two visit on the beautiful iland KohSaMet."
Mr.William said, "A nice and quiet hotel direct on the beach. A perfect place to relax. A little bit far from shop/markets. Nearest 20 mins by hotel bus. Positive points are the internet room and the rental of the bikes. Service excellent with a very friendly staff."
