Gary said, "Hotel was in good location - 2 min to beach - bit removed from Bangla which may be a good thing for some!Room adequate - plugs difficult to get to for recharging items - TV stations limited for English despite many sports channels on cable/sat which Id had in BKK - bathroom dull with tiny bath - better to just have shower on its own.Pool nice/staff good/rooms cleaned daily"

Annica said, "We had a real nice stay at this well organized hotel. The staff was extremly serviceminded and had glimt in eye = many laughes that means a lot under a vacation. Great breakfast, near to the beach and good massage (the girls with yellow shirts down the road on same side as hotel). Shop and Bangla also nearby.Our boy got sick and they took us to hospital early in the morning.Nice pool. They like children, our daughter got good memories from the staff, send regards to women that learned her a lot and to Hooki and f course all the others.If we get back we will live here agin!"

Sarah said, "An oasis in the chaos of Patong! Salathai Resort was exactly what we had expected, perhaps even better. The rooms were cool and clean, the beds were comfortable (and softer than other beds in Thailand - a bit of a relief!), the pool was luxury, the garden was beautiful, the staff were lovely and helpful (we wanted to have a shower after checking out and they arranged a room for us with no problems at all) and the food excellent (my father thought it the best breakfast in Thailand!). Overall very enjoyable."

lee said, "There were 6 people in our party and we had the best time on our holiday.The hotel was great and all the staff from cleaners to management were excellent .We could not fault anything at all. Our only comment would be that sometimes as hotel guests we liked to relax in the evening over a few drinks at the bar ,but the bar area was situated in the restaraunt and so we felt we could not enjoy ourselves quite as much as we would have liked,just incase we disturbed the people who were dining. Other than that everything was great .We shall definetly return on our next bisit to thailand."

Klaus said, "Cozy little hotel in the middle of the action in patong beach(3min. to beach, 5min to bangla road), but very quiet and great garden/pool. i had a junior suite which was more than i really needed, but still very good value for the money. Clean rooms, good service, breakfast ok, restaurant ok, only shower/bathroom relatively small. highly recommended for people who want to be close to the nightlife."

The pool area was nice and quiet, as wa the hotel even although it is only a few minutes walk from the beach. Breakfasts were nice, with the hot items changing daily. I would certainly recommend the hotel and my friend and I will be returning again soon."

Bodo said, "A real nice sweet Hotel with very good service. The People was everytime helpful and give me a good time in Phuket. The Room was great enough, nice pool in a nice garden. The Hotel was not loud, but only 3 minutes to the beach and 3 minutes to the nightlife. If I come back to Phuket, I will choise this Hotel again."

Joe said, "We didn t like phuket, or mainly the patong area, too busy and alot of people crowded together. The outside of the resort didn t look like much, and u might feel dejected once arriving as it is right on the main street off the esplanade (very close to beach). there isn t really a porper lobby, you have to walk throught he hotel restaurant to get to the front desk which is on the side of the restaurant. However once inside the resort it was beautiful. a little boutique resort with nice clean rooms. and the pool was so cool and clean, very well kept! all the staff were friendly and helpful, you didn t even know that right outside are hundreds of cars and people around! only minor detail is the bathroom, a little too small an dthe shower is pretty much like a powerful hose (which is a change to the weak water pressure in thailand)- it s a wet floor bathroom so basically only a little curtain however everything gets wet. no problems, everything else was wonderful!!!"

DAVID said, "very clean & central hotel. if you book on sawadee be carefull to include a double if you intend bringing a chick back, otherwise you will be charged 500bhat for the nite. breakfast is very average as in all thai hotels. one of the best located hotels in patong."

Marianne said, "Very satisfied with Salathai Resort, close to everything you need. 200 meters from Patong Beach, one parallell street from Bangla Road if you want the night life. As almost everywhere in Thailand, staff was very helpful and serviceminded. Nice pool, good restaurant and great room. From time to time the guests at the pool got complementary free snacks and bits to nibble on, and one time free drinks. I would defenetly go back."

Brian said, "The Salathai Resort is a relatively small resort, however it certainly makes up for its size with the service provided by the staff. The location is only slightly off of Beach Road and it has plenty of eating and drinking places within a 10 minute stroll. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space and good facilities. The breakfast that was included with our package was fantastic. I would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommneded it to anyone."

Prem said, "Having drinks no less than 5 times and we were ignored by the staff even when we tried to be friendly to them!! Other than that they were so stingy when it comes to extra towels. This is without a doubt the worst hotel I’ve you can be assured that me and my friends will never visit this hotel again! Looks can certainly be deceiving."

Calvin said, "Very nice small hotel, a real hidden gem. Among the busy area, a block north of Bang-la Road, just around the corner from the beach. Very nice modern room, large tub with shower, excellent hot water and water pressure. Breakfast included was very good, as was room service. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended."

Karon or Kata look to be the place if you want quieter just beach holiday but we liked Patong s hustle and bustle"
