Horizon Karon Beach Resort & Spa Hotels

Catherine stayed at Horizon Karon Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-02-26 and said, "The hotel is really nice, big area, beautiful swimming pool (even not really clean), nice breakfast and big room. the hotel is on the hill and the free tuk tuk is only from 9am to 6pm (we came 3 minutes before 9 am and they said its not the time yet). in general we really enjoy staying in this hotel...."

Ailsa stayed at Horizon Karon Beach Resort & Spa on 2007-11-11 and said, "We stayed here for 3 nights in mid November in a pool view room but not in the prestige/adult only section. The room itself was fine, probably could have done with a refurb, and definitely so in the bathroom. The room did smell a bit musty but we didn t bother complaining. Main criticism of the room was the appalling sound insulation. We might as well have shared the same room as the girls next door to us, we could hear virtually every word they spoke. Not hugely impressed by this at all and would put me off staying here again. It wasn t as if they were shouting either!The pools were fine, reasonable size but of course the usual problems with people hogging the sunbeds. There was a note in our room warning us not to reserve beds by putting towels on them which impressed me until I saw a whole family put their crocs on the sunbeds instead! What is it with these people?The breakfast was fine, more than enough to choose from but we are generally quite happy with fresh fruit and toast.I don t think I would rush back to stay at this hotel, I think for what we paid it could have been better. The location up the hill wasn t an issue at all for us. It is steep so i suppose if you are unfit or have a young family it is tough."

ms stayed at Horizon Karon Beach Resort & Spa on 2007-02-10 and said, "Lovely hotel and staff team,nice pool areas, good breakfasts,we had a superior pool view and this was definitely one of the best rooms great for 2 adults and 2 kids, also drop in kids club was very good.The friendly staff at this hotel definitely helped make our holiday."
