Angela stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-06-25 and said, "we really enjoyed staying there and will stay there again.the rooms were clean and comfortable .The hotel food was of the highest quality and so we ate there most of the time.The breakfast was fantastic.Lovely friendly staff were very helpful.We had great massages at the spa.overall great value for money."

I have never come across such rude and uninterested staff at reception ever before. The room is very basic with a mouldy, unclean bathroom. Internet service poor."

Mr.Kim stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-06-13 and said, "Booked a deluxe poolside room..when arrived it was not available so had to take a room so far from the pool..was not impressed. Will complain to Sawadee when I get back home. Also when have shower, the floor gets full of water. Very disappointed."

A mouse was running around the room at 3am on the microwave, the pool had algae and one night at 11pm I was awoken by noisy fumigation that was going on..rediculious"

Paul stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-05-15 and said, "Having seen some poor reviews on trip adviser I contacted the hotel 2 days prior to arival. On arival all was good.The room was clean and large enough The bathroom was looking a bit old and in need of some TLC the staff were great (until check out) Breakfast good, although got a bit repeditive I guess anything would after 13 nights.the pools although not large were big enough the resident artist fantastic. the gym had modern equipment and was well airconditioned.Now the bad stuff on checking out someone was sent to check our room usual practice, They reported I teaspoon missing we were there for 13 nights and only ever had the one,I was asked to pay for the missing spoon I told the staff I did not have the spoon and was not responasable for its loss at this point I was refused change owed from a bar bill untill I payed. I asked for the manager No show I then asked that the police be called I was laughed at I was told to fill out a missing item form I refused the receptionist started to fill out the form for me stateing I refused to pay, I then added becasue I didn t take it and gave it back to her....This was unnessesary and left me with a bad taste.I will write seeking an appology. I will not hold my breath."

David stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-05-05 and said, "Hi all, I totally recommend the horizon patong beach resort my father myself and my partner stayed at the resort for 7 nights and the service was fantasic all staff were very very helpful we where always treated like royalty.... My only qwarm was that our bath room plumping was on the nose and had to keep the door closed so we didn t get stunk out of our room.other then that it was awesome and i will most definetly stay at this resort again on my return to phuket.And guys if your going to phuket go see the Phuket fantasia it was fantastic its like a mini disney land AWESOME"

They up/graded us to a family room.Loads of space,but on ground level.Do not stay on ground level as loads of mozzies, and outside our balcony infested with BEES. 1st night our fridge leaked causing buckets of water on the floor.2nd night the toilet blocked flooding the bathroom.Staff quick to respond to fix the problem. Overall good hotel,brekky great...Even though we had problems I would stay there again...Next door great massage place..and hotel just across from beach."

The staff makes you feel like a king and queen. Inside the hotel its very relaxing,feels like you are somewhere else, the staff remembered my birthday with a fruit basket and a card,the hotel is very quiet, when you step outside the hotel you realize you are in patong, we felt patong was too busy for us, people want to sell you everything, all the time, asking if you want a tuk tuk. But totally recommend this hotel, if we come again it will be to karon beach and horizon hotel there (we wouldn´t mind having the same staff there:) )all the best to the nice staff"

Sean stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-01-31 and said, "This hotel was the second preference for me in patong as the patong merlin is possibly the best i ve ever stayed but books out quickly. the location of this hotel is brilliant with quality non whorish massage palours next door, good restraunts only 50 to 250m s away, internet cafe accross the street and you only need to cross the road to get on the main beach and a short walk from bangla but enough out of the way to be out of the busyness. I RECOMMEND FAMILY ROOM! the room is massive with a kitchen!"

Timothy stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-01-31 and said, "very dissapointed on arrival we were informed at reception our room was being cleaned and would not be avaible for a number of hours when in fact the guests that had occupied it were still useing it up to six thirty in the evening and we had arrived at 2pm after traveling thirty six hours and had no where to rest or shower we will not return there again"

We had a standard room with king size bed. Nice linen, 4 pillows and cleaned. The breakfast was also very good. Good service. I recommend this hotel."

We had 2 rooms and a family room. I would suggest if you were staying any more than a few days to take a family room, as they are much larger than a standard room. We were always able to find a seat by the pool.It was only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Patong, but quite once inside the resort."

However I was impressed at check-in, the Hotel realised I was single and put me in room away from families.Furthermore the Hotel has two pools (Family/Kids pool & an Adults pool)My only regrets is leaving my swimmers on the balcony - hey never mind.!"

David stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2007-09-09 and said, "Tucked just out of reach of the beach road and all that comes with it. Very nice hotel with friendly accomodating staff. We stayed for 10 days in a family room which met all our expectations even though we were not poolside. The real benefit was the peace and quiet. Would recommend this hotel to families as it is not too big as to lose that personal contact with guests. Cannot complain at the price. Genuine value for money."

Robert stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2007-07-02 and said, "We arrive at Patong on 2 July, there was a problem with our room it has been flooded but the staff offered us an alternative room which was great. We received an free complementary meal in their restrant which was very good of them. Unfortunately we thought Patong was too busy and asked the Hotel if they could transfer us to their sister hotel in Karong which they did even though they didn t need to. The Hotel was excellent verey clean and friendly together with the staff nothing was too much trouble for them."

TUI stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2007-06-14 and said, "We stayed in a family room for 3 nights. The room size is very big and comfortable with 2 queen sized beds. Bathroom is also big with a bath tub and separate shower area. Hotel is very conveniently located at the heart of Patong and just three minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast was good! Ideal hotel for family with children."

The breakfast provided was delicious. After viewing and comparing other properties we were extremely happy with our choice of accommodation and would highly reccommend the Horizon Beach to other holidaymakers. The resort is well situated right were the action is day and night, but once you step into the grounds of the resort you feel as if the vibrancy of Patong Beach is miles away. Our room was only the very basic but was clean and neat with a huge queen size bed and suited our needs. We hope to return soon with our children for another wonderful holiday. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable."

The resort is modern, not too big, very clean, good pools, great gym, very good breakfast and large family rooms.We have stayed in many towns in Thailand and Malaysia. We would say Horizon offers the best value for money. We will stay there again.Steve Bentley"

This included a kitchen. Two free bottles of water every day was also a bonus. Spotlessly clean rooms and very helpful staff from start to finish. Patong is extremely busy but the Horizon beach was a little piece of calm among the manic outside. The free bus to Karon Beach was also a bonus.Breakfast was a delight with almost every taste catered for. I would certainly recommend this hotel"

Michael stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2006-07-31 and said, "Generally speaking, the hotel is nice. very Conveniently situated for beach/shopping/eating out without being too central. Family rooms are very good, very large and well furnished. Well worth the extra cost!Staff generally friendly, but reception is the exception if you have a problem. Don t break anything (such as a glass or cup in your room as the replacement charge is a joke! Our daughter burnt her foot on an exposed metal cover of some sort (poolside) and it took two days for them to put a sheet over it. We would recommend it, having stayed two years running, but beware of rooms not being ready when you arive or your requests re rooms not being honoured!"

Would recommend to anyone. Very close to the beach Only draw back was the number of times I was asked just outside the hotel if I wanted a Taxi, Massage or suit, but not the hotels fault. Hotel has private entrance behind and to the right of reception and would recommend you use this when going to the beach."

Ramesh stayed at Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa on 2006-07-21 and said, "Very disappointed initially with the 3 rooms given, as they seemed to be the worst rooms available. Complained after the first night and to their credit changed the rooms to first floor with some good view of the resort. The previous was on ground floor with no view and gutter running in front of the doors.(They really should do away with these)"

They also refused my request to advise other occupants that their valuables were at risk. The staff were extremely offensive and unhelpful , so we immediately moved to another Hotel after only one nights stay."
