M stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2008-06-29 and said, "We enjoyed our stay and felt it was good value for money. The only small disappointments were 1) the pre-arranged transfer from the airport never happened and 2) There was a bit of drilling and grinding going on while we were trying to relax by the pool."

Monica stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2008-02-11 and said, "Lovely location very close to the relaxing and quite beach of Bangtao. Excellent food, but no alcohol! Very nice staff! The right resort for you if you like small hotels (only 10 bungalows) with nice garden and a lot of tastefull decoration."

Gisela stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2008-01-30 and said, "The Chalet was nice, but the room was a little dark but clean and beautiful planed. The staff were polite and very helpfull. The taxi service was more than good."

Elaine stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2007-06-21 and said, "The room was a little small but very nice, clean, and quiet. The bed was very hard however. The restaurant was good and breakfast was a choice of Thai, Continential or American breakfast. Only a few people stayed there and it was very quiet. Thai massage was good though expensive (750b) for local standards (350). Very little shopping in the area but a few good restaurants. The beach here is generally unswimmable with a dirty water canal draining into the bay in the best swimming spot. Staff were very helpful."

Maria stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2006-12-21 and said, "Very nice little boutique hotel. The pool and gardens are a beautiful tranquil oasis.The restaurant does really good Thai food with excellent seafood salad and satay with an amazing satay sauce. There isn t a spa there even though they built the room, it s not in use - shame really. Lovely bedrooms. The bathroom floor gets soaked when you have a shower and is a bit poky for my liking. They should get rid of the glass brick shower screens to make more space. Beach is only a couple of minutes walk away with a couple of nice restaurants nearby for fresh fish of the day. Staff are very sweet and go out of their way to be helpful;fresh fruit on arrival and they bring refreshing cool water to you without asking when you re at the pool. But some things get a bit lost in translation. Surin beach down the road has a really nice new bar The Liquid Lounge which isn t a go-go bar and plays good soulful house music."

TIM stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2006-01-31 and said, "Beautiful resort and beautiful room. Very close to the beach. Nice and peaceful. Best of all, best staff. Everyone is so nice!! I wish I could stay longer. Will come back again."

Victoria stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2005-12-27 and said, "What a lovely place! A real oasis of peace and tranquillity where the small details make your stay special. Lovely facilities and the staff were friendly and very helpful a great pleace to get away from it all. Beware of high restaurant and laundry prices however and dont be afraid to venture along the beach for great food at a fraction of the cost. Will definately return however!!"

T stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2004-12-15 and said, "Beautiful place, quaint and well maintained with a beautiful garden. Very romantic. Felt like an oasis, very close to beach, literally 1 minute walk. Unfortunately the front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful, they charged us for a bottle of water that we did not drink but we paid for because we did not feel like arguing for more than 5 minutes."

A stayed at Bangtao Beach Chalet on 2004-10-20 and said, "A very nice place to stay. The staff did everything to make you feel at home. Nothing was too much. Also the beach, very close by the way, was very nice en not busy at all. The beach restaurants are good and cheap. The restaurant of the hotel is good but much more expensive than the surrounding restaurants. Over all a very good place to be and we will return for sure."
