Rahul said, "Very good value for money, especially at the low season rates. The room and washroom were clean and well maintained (I clean. Overall the hotel is well spread out and landscaped. I dont think they have room service since I did not find a room service menu. The breakfast had limited options, but was decent. I used the service of the travel oprerator in the hotel for the Phi-Phi island tour. This was very well arranged. I would recommend people to go for the VIP package as that also includes kayaking.The hotel was walking distance from Bangla Road and the Beach. I wasnt too impressed by Patong Beach as it was too commercialised and did not really give the relaxed beach feeling. I believe that other beaches like Kata Beach are much better if you want to relax on the beach. I would reccomend the hotel to travellers as a good value for money 3 star property."

Katrina said, "Hotel was great, room clean and tidy and breakfast simple but good enough. The pool was really nice and relaxing - enjoyed location as it was walking distance everywhere and the reception staff and tour desk very helpful."

Deborah said, "DO NOT STAY HERE unless you don t mind seeing men dragging ladies of the night into their rooms. The condoms in display (and for sale) in the rooms give you an idea of what kind of place it is. If you can overlook these little things, you may also be able to ignore the laundry that is piled up in the passageways for virtually the whole day. You may also find the worn carpets and bottle green doors to your liking.On the plus side, the staff are friendly and the pool is nice. That s all though. Will never come back to either the Bayshore or Patong. Karon is much better for families."

YEE said, "Its a very nice and clean hotel. the rooms r ok. i will say its a medium size room. breakfast is nice. the swimming pools r big with the fresh garden with lots of tree surrounding the pool. the staff r very friendly n nice to talk too. but they dont speak very good english but still can be ecepted.will recommend this hotel to everyone. good job to the staff n hotel management."

Merja said, "Nice,cosy hotel in Patong,short distance to all attractions. mainbilding room was a bit small but pool was great and water clean.Breakfast ok.I think I got what i d payed for.No traffic noise in the second floor room,allthough location is beside the busy streets. No balcony, so if you want a terrace,ask for 1.floor room towards pool area, not backside(brickwall wiew). Cleaning every day, but no handtowels in rooms.We were pleased to stay in Bayshore hotel."

Die Lage des Hotel ist ok, ca. 500 Meter vom Strand und ca. 500 Meter vom Zentrum entfernt. Frühstücksbuffet war auch in Ordnung. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis!"

Ms said, "Patong Bayshore Hotel 2007-11-10 until 2007-11-16Hotel is centrally located in Patong Beach. Easy walking distance to anywhere in Patong. Large swimming pool in secluded garden setting was delightful. Breakfast excellent. Room fine but toilet stank of sewage if you left the lid up when flushing. Room clean & cleaned daily. My concerns:On arrival was given a room looking onto a very ugly concrete brick wall. As I was staying 7 nights I did not fancy looking at this ugly wall every day and did not want to sit on the patio looking at it. Hence I immediately returned to reception and asked if a room looking onto the garden was available. I was told yes but I would have to pay an extra 600 baht. I agreed and was followed to my room by the girl at reception who asked that I pay her the cash immediately. I refused and said I would settle at the end of my stay when I settled my account for mini bar etc. On checking out I was not charged the 600 baht which did not surprise me as I had checked the website & there is no difference in rate for a standard room. I concluded that this is a scam operated by some of the reception staff! Also the same reception staff member told me the only way to get from Patong to the airport was by taxi (700 baht) or limosine (1000 baht). I enquired about mini van transport but was told that there wasn t any. Subsequently I booked a minivan to the airport from a place just up the road for 170 baht. I did get the impression that the transport is another scam operated by reception staff or the hotel to trap unwary travellers. People who stay here beware!Sue"

Jacques said, "It is always a pleasure to stay in Pating Bayshore. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the nightlife. The garden is beautifull and the pool is perfect. The hotel needs an update, but comparing the quality and the price it is oké. I sure come back again."

Bed was comfortable. 10 minute walke to Bngla Road. actually preferred this road. There wasn t a hundred greasy tailors and junk salesmen hassling you everytime you step out of the hotel.The hotel is definitely in need of a facelift though. The rooms and hallways look very old and tired."

con said, "I had a good stay at the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, it was very clean and the pool area was very invitng. The hotel was much nicer than I expected it to be, its webpage doesn t do it justice. Only about 5 minutes to the beach and aboout 10 minutes to the shops and restaurants was a good location. I d be happy to stay there again."

Gaetan said, "On arrival we were put in a wing of the hotel that have horrible rooms. We were in room 1107, we will never forget it. I called it a dungeon, unfit to live in. We send an e-mail the Sawadee and they said that they were investigating. They told us that the hotel was full and we could be moved the next day. We were and it was fine after that. We found out from other residents that it is routine at this hotel to fill this horrible wing then if you complain, they move you the next day. This way they keep this bad wing fill up every night. If you pay in advance like we did on Sawadee.com, then the risk is too high for anyone to stay at this hotel. Too bad, because once you have a nice room, the pool, breakfast, surronding and location if fine."

Mr said, "Hotel facilities were very good especially the pool and surrounding area. Breakfast choice was again very good and provided a good start to the day. Staff were very efficient and friendly. It would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room but apart from that rooms were well cleaned."

Paul said, "Very disappointed this trip.Upon arrival we where sent to a double room with 2 single beds. this was not what i expected or paid for, when we questioned this we where told we wopuld change rooms the next day. I expressed my displeasure and told them they should have told me upon arrival not after we where in the room. The next day the new room had no running water so we had to change again.Breakfast was between 6.00am and 10.30am but if you arrived between 10.00 and 10.30 you only got what was left and wghere made to feel unwelcome and anything you wanted was treated as too much trouble.All in all this hotel is very expensive for what you get as the old section is just that very run down.There are much better places available for less money and i would certaintly not stay there again."

My boyfriend and I were very impressed with the location (near the action of Patong, without being right in the middle of it). We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly for anyone thinking of staying there. Gorgeous gardens and great value for money."

THOMAS said, "The hotel was fully booked and I think, that it need some renovation work. During a couple of thunderstorms , water dropped into my room. The hotel staff is friendly, but I must say, that this hotel has seen better times and there are better options available at Patong Beach. Anyway to sum it up , the stay was OK."

It doesn t have the fancy-schmancy services provided by 5 star hotels but provides more than enough to make it a comfortable stay. We the rooms were nice and clean. Nice pool to chill and relax. It is close to Patong Beach and the main party area (Bangla Rd) yet provides a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Staff were friendly and excellent. Room service was good as it promptly supplied us with the many buckets of ice that we needed. The breakfast is fairly alright. All in all I would recommend this hotel."

Tey said, "Hotel overall not bad.The only bad thing is that they do not allow sharing of room.If u already book double room, they will not allow for the 3rd or the 4th person to stay in even though u will add in extra bed.The hotel location is just nice.Only 100m walk to patong beach.But i will like to go phuket i will definitely not choose this hotel rather i will choose other 4 star hotel which is out of patong as patong does not really have lots of things 2 c..u can actually enjoy your stay at otehr hotel n easily get a tuk-tuk in teh evening to patong."

Mr. said, "A couple of blocks inland from Patong beach, (about 10-15 mins walk past bars, shops, restaurants etc). The hotel had booked out our room when we arrived (boo!) but upgraded us to a bungalow (yay), basically a larger room separate from the hotel suites and closer to the pool. However the room still smelled of cigarette smoke, which you got used to after a while, but would hit you whenever you returned to the room. Also a few mosquitos in the room and bathroom, but once they were killed more did not return. It was also quite close to the main road, so you could hear traffic from the room. We went just before peak season so the noise wasn t too bad, but could be a problem in peak season. The hotel has a tour booking facility, but you would be better to book from any independant agent down the road, as you can bargain them down to close to half the price of what you d pay through the hotel. Patong s pretty seedy and gets boring if you re not into the go-go girl/hostess/ladyboy scene so we probably would stay at Patong again, and if we did we d try another place."

However, the staff at the front desk could not give us accurate transportation or local tour information. They just wanted to persuade us to use the services through the hotel and the rate was double as compared with that outside."

mr. said, "I visited Patong Bayshore Hotel for the 7th time recently and again I felt like coming home. The staff is very friendly and they offer good service with a frindly smile. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the nightlife. Ptong Bayshore had a beautifull garden with very nice swimmingpool. Looking at what they offer and looking at the prcie it is one of the best hotels in Patong. I sure come back next year."
