Rebekka stayed at Khao Lak Emerald Beach Resort & Spa on 2008-04-27 and said, "Nicely built, clean resort on the Khao Lak South beach. Its away from the center but has free shuttle service to the center. As our visit was at the end of season it was very quiet and unpersonal despite the very friendly staff. Some restaurants are around the resort. In the National Park just beside is a beautiful little lonely sandy beach, entrance fee 100 bhat. The trip to similan islands of season is gambling with the weather conditions - but we were lucky"
