ART stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2008-04-30 and said, "Old world charm at a reasonable price. Staff was very nice, rooms reasonably clean and everything worked. A great breakfast affords a wonderful and restful view of the garden and pool, with birds right there to greet you! I hear this hotel will close next year and this is a shame since any other like hotel will be much more expensive and most likely not be so conveniently located in Pattaya. Nova Lodge is not fancy, but it has amenities you might not get at twice the price. I recommend it highly to those who want to save, but still have a nice hotel, and who want to be located near the beach and many other hot spots in Pattaya. If you want to eat in, there is a grocery store just up the block. An internet cafe is locate across the street. The staff will get you almost anything you ask for. I highly recommend a Thai massage--cheap and great!"
Euan stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2008-04-19 and said, "Excellent hotel, possibly the best i have stayed in.Proffessional and very friendly staff, Very clean and modern rooms. Take time to relax at roof top pool, the view is spectacular. Food, location etc great.BUT.......be warned if your driving there you can not turn on to Soi 3 from Sukhomvit. It took us 45 minutes to get to hotel after being only 300 meters away. Down back alleys through hospital grounds. Some directions please.Unfortunately left with a bitter note. Being charged 100 baht for a 1/2 baby bottle of milk when the child did not have their entitled breakfast was very frustrating."
Euan stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2008-04-18 and said, "Brilliant hotel,Great modern and clean rooms. Take a visit to the roof top pool and enjoy the view. Location, food and staff all excellent.BUT. Be warned if your travelling by car you cn not access Soi 3 from Sukhomvit. It took us 30 minutes to find a route to the hotel through hospital grounds and small back alleys.Left with a bitter taste after being charged 100 baht for 1/2 filled baby drinking bottle,"
Zhang stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2008-04-14 and said, "Quite Good. Just on street away from the beach. A little noizy."
Boris stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2008-03-20 and said, "Hotel is ok, pool is nice only the service at the pool is a little slow. Rooms are ok but they could use a little fresh paint and new showerheads in the bathroom."

Kenneth stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-11-09 and said, "I have stayed at Nova Lodge several times, a nice and cosy but a bit old hotel. Personell is friendly, the service is good and the rooms are always clean, pool and pool area are very nice. I will most certainly return to Nova Lodge."
Andy stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-10-14 and said, "Once again another great stay at the Nova Lodge.I had my old room, 140, which was quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my old friend and favourite waiter, Songpoi, died just before I arrived. The staff all attended his burial service and one of the other waiters shaved his head and eyebrows as a mark of respect. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate in recommending it to all."
Victor stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-09-21 and said, "Good value for money. I have been several times before so I knew what to expect. Good breakfast and nice pool. Management should invest more on upgrading the rooms however although I heard that there are plans to raze down the lodge and build something new."
Yvan stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-09-21 and said, "This was really a good hotel i thought, in pattaya this will do its right in the middle of pattaya , soi 7 and 8 are accross the street and walking street is just a short walk away. if i go back to pattya i would stay at this hotel for the entire time this time around."
Mr stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-08-14 and said, "HALLO . EVERYTHING WAS OKEJ EXCEPT THE TOALETT WHEN YOU TURN ON THE WATER AM I SURE THAT OUR NEIGHTBOUR WAKE UPP THEN WE STAY 3MOOR DAYS END THAT COST US 1200BATH MORE THEN THAT WE ORDER THAT FROM THE BEGINNING JACK"
Chris stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-06-29 and said, "i am very sorry to tell you ,but i thought the hotel was very very over priced.the hotel was very old and in need of a good overhall, allso the hotel was not clean to a good standard.and on one of our three nights we were told the lorry had broken down so ther is no delivery of clean towels and bed linen so the room was left bare!!!!!i am married to a thai lady and we go there very often but this time we were not impressed at all rdgs mr mrs powell"
Andy stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-06-17 and said, "This was my third stay at Nova Lodge. I am happy to report that I had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and supportive. There are all kinds of guests from all over the world. Families and single people are all catered for well."
Chaz stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-06-13 and said, "Cracker spot!! I have no complaints at all. On other reports they mention about unfriendly staff, maybe they did not mae an effort to have a bit of banter with them. The pool is its best feature. Location is central but far enough from wlaking street to ensure you are no plagued by noise for an early night if required. Is well priced and would highly reccomend. Guest are allowed with no charge and they get free breckfast. Thanks Sawadee for a great stay and I will def be back."
Carl stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-05-31 and said, "Superbly located on Pattaya s Beach Rd.Rooms clean, usual comfort, Airconditioner rather noisy. Nice large swimming pool with towel service. Buffet breakfast OK. Staff friendly (of course in Thailand). All in all good value for money. Would stay there again."
David stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-04-23 and said, "well, kinda old but nice.the staff was verry nice.the location was good.i realy had no complants."
R. stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2007-04-17 and said, "friendly but very dirty, stinky superior room, mouseshit behind luggage at checkout after 3 days"
Audrey stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-12-17 and said, "Hotel was in an excellent location - huge room with seperate living area - could be updated, yet it was spotless and staff were extremely friendly - would stay there again"
Ross stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-10-27 and said, "The hotel is well located, near the beach and the soi 7 and soi 8 bars. It is constructed in a U shape and the pool is really an oasis in the noisy, dusty Pattaya. The breakfsat was included and was quite a decent spread.A welcome drink is offered at the Zeppelin bar and a card with 10% discount in the Big Ben restaurant is given on check in.The manager, Mr. Hirsch, is very helpful and watches that all runs well in the hotel.Downside, the rooms are OLD and desperately need a make over. The other staff are sometimes friendly but mostly indifferent bordering on rude.THe internet center in rubbish. Slow and old PCs. Better go across the road to one of the Indian tailor shops that offer internet access at 1B/min with faster PCs."
Andy stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-10-07 and said, "This was the second time I have stayed at the Nova Lodge and my experience this time was equal to the first one. I particularly liked the fact that the clientelle comes from throughout the world. I like to talk with people from different countries to hear of their experiences etc. The pool and grounds are probably the hotel s best features and are well utilised by the guests. I stayed with my Thai girlfriend this time and was visited by her three children and their aunt. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the pool and were treated very well and I felt comfortable having them there. I can genuinely recommend this hotel to travellers solo or with families who are looking for an inexpensive hotel which is centrally located and with a friendly staff."
Ms.Iva stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-09-23 and said, "Before I book this hotel, I read some comment for it. I do not understand why they give a good comment. It is so bad experience for me from this hotel such as front dest service very poor when I check in. She was no smiling face even had impolite respond. Except this the room is so old and you can find your enjoy on it.Honestly I will not book it again."
Van stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-09-22 and said, "Good and clean hotel. Nice swimming pool, friendly service with a smile. Cleaning up every day."
Lorenzo stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-09-15 and said, "friendly personnal, good position, good swimming pool, good food, old building with rooms but adequated for the price, enough polite."
Paul stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-09-08 and said, "the hotel was excellent and in an ideal position in Pattaya city"
David stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-08-15 and said, "The first room they gave me was disgusting - filthy and smelly. i changed rooms and had a better room but it still needed a good overall cleaning. Other than that the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good."
Lalith stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-07-31 and said, "I was very happy with the hotel, its location and the service. Just right for my kind of budget, and I have no complaints. Had a very nice holiday. Comfortable room, cleaned every day and the breakfast was quite good, stayed three days, and will come back here next time around if things stay the same. TV channels were limited, but I didn t go there to watch TV!"
Andy stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-07-16 and said, "I was quite impressed with this hotel and although not of really high quality it nevertheless was very good value for money and I would not hesitate in recommending it to my friends. I was very impressed with the pool and grounds. The staff were courteous and friendly and the breakfast was quite good. The hotel is well situated just behind the beach and it has two good restaurants. I liked the mix of nationalities staying there and also that there were quite a few western men with Thai wives and children who were obviously enjoying themselves. I hope to stay there again when I next visit Pattaya."
Mr.Vigroux stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-07-14 and said, "Refreshing of rooms should be welcomed. Air conditionning did not work properly.Furnitures around the swimming pool were worn and unsufficiant."
Paul stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-06-07 and said, "Old Hotel, but very good serviceand exellent breakfest.Beautyfull Pool and garden"
Stephen stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-05-29 and said, "I loved the location and the superior room I had just by the pool. Could have done with a mosquito net as I was bitten constantly throughout the night! Great thing is you re only a short stroll to all the bars and a 20bht taxi to walking street, if that s your bag.I found the staff helpful and there s an internet room attached to the foyer which is only 2bht a minute."
Geroge stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-04-20 and said, "Not much of a complainer. Service was fine, surroundings were beautiful, but I have to say that even after knowing that its an old hotel. There s still no excuse for ants in my room, which invaded my laptop, no curtain in shower, real, real hard bed, and A/C not up to par! To top it off with hot humid weather, the swimming pool was salt water and not refreshing."
H.O. stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-04-13 and said, "A bit disappointed with the room I was staying. It’s time to renovate and the bed was old. Other than these 2 things, everything was fine. The staff’s are friendly and nice as usual for the Thai people. Swimming pool is big enough and surrounded by beautiful and well kept garden. The location is good almost close to everything and the beach is just a short walk across the Pattaya Beach Road. This will be my last time to Pattaya. The whole place is disgusting. There are more bars than anything. Old Caucasian man abusing young Thai girls as young as their granddaughter. And these old men walking together with the young girls on the road with high pride thinking that they had the money to spend in Pattaya, thinking that they are the sugar daddy of those young girls. I think they probably never come across these words in their dictionary. Disgusting, shy, disgrace, embarrass and shame. They don’t feel a shame or disgrace but I do. Yet the caucasian always talk about human right this and that. It is just disgusting."
Lee stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-02-25 and said, "after seeing the hotel on the net, expected it to be alot better,it was woeful, staff were generally consumed with what was important to them, they were rude and sometimes ignorant. The rooms were old,the drain in my room backed up after each shower.seems to cater for older retired germans, would absolutley never recommend this hole..........."
David stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2006-02-14 and said, "very big room...it is an older hotel and could use a touch up in the rooms but really it was very good value. The pool was big which isnt always the case...The staff were excellent and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here."
A. stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-12-25 and said, "Excellent hotel, less than 50 yards from the beach, right on beach road. It is close to all the shopping and night life but so well insulated you don t hear all the bustle of the city. The staff is excellent and met every request quickly and efficiently. The Breakfast is ample and quite good plus the AC worked very well which is essential for this area. Overall an extremely good value and a place people return year after year."

Mr stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-11-26 and said, "Very nice hotel, great reception staff, fantastic buffet breakfast. No charge for guests. Gorgeous pool area, plenty of restaurants and bars right outside hotel. Great location, 30 seconds away from Topps 24hr Supermarket. Free safety deposit boxes at reception. Would defintely stay here again."
Ken stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-11-13 and said, "The hotel is a bit run down, our room was basic and it smelled like sewerage.Great TV channels compared to other hotels. The pool is awesome... and the breakfast is better then most as well.Wouldn t stay there again though."
Ian stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-05-27 and said, "The hotel is good, nice pool although the pool side bar attendant has a problem I think. He should not work dealing with customers as he is a rude sullen man. All the rest of the staff are excellent though and I have stayed here 2 times now and will return again. I will just not order drinks at the pool."
DW stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-03-10 and said, "The hotel is clean and the staff is excellent. The price is also good. The room is,a suite,is lacking in a few things.A TV in the sitting room is a must.TV is bedroom is not visible from the sitting room. Also the number of TV channels needs to be increased.Location is good. The breakfast buffet is excellent."
Mr.Ian stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-02-04 and said, "good pool---well kept gardens-----hotel interior a lttle rundown but good value for money"
Lars stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2005-01-30 and said, "Nice old fashioned (colonial) athmosphere. Excellent location if you want to be in the very middle and close to the most crowded beach. Staff was very professional and helpful. Extra plus for the internet availability and for the in house transport/tour service. The breakfast was excellent! It´s obvious that this is an old hotel, at least in the not yet renovated rooms. Had a sleepless night at arrival due to vibrating windows, caused by late and loud music from a bar nearby."
Mr.Robert stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2004-11-20 and said, "If your going to Pattaya, Nova Lodge is a decent place to stay. Good price, nice location (across the street from the beach), nice pool, on-site internet cafe, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were decent but the bathroom (particularly the shower) was not the greatest. I stayed here twice during my stay in Thailand. My second time I stayed in a Superior Room. I recommend paying a little extra for the Superior Room. Nova is close to Soi 8 if that s your thing, and there are no issues (i.e. extra charges) with bringing a friend home for the night. Only downside on the location is that it s a bit far from Walking Street compared to some other hotels, but for 20 baht you can catch a taxi down to Walking Street, so no big deal. I will stay here again if I return."
David stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2004-10-10 and said, "My stay was very nice after changing rooms the first night for a room with no adjoining doors. The door was more like paper and you could hear every word and considering the party nature of Pattaya you will not want to...After getting a corner room- everything was better. It was dead quiet, the tv channels were stronger - They have CNN Asia and Fox News as well as german, thai and other channels. Nova is slowly getting upgraded and some of the rooms are showing it- nonetheless everything was functioning well. The Nova is really well situated with taxi s (10b) running constantly right outside. The grounds and pool are fabulous approaching the Amari quality down the street. Beach is right across the street. Buffet breakfast is quite good and served in the open air restaurant. And Nova is very tolerant of overnight guests with no special requirements. I would stay again- I stayed 2 weeks."
Stan stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2004-09-22 and said, "I was pleased to stay at the Nova Lodge once again ( this will have been my 4/5th time I have stayed their, so as you can tell tat I have been satisfied every time or else I would not have gone back, and will return next year with a friend all beeing well and health permitting ."
Jo stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2004-08-23 and said, "Good location, nice pool, nice breakfast, friendly staff, rooms a bit ragged though. But overall good value for money."
Mr. stayed at Nova Lodge Hotel on 2004-08-21 and said, "I was there for 4 nights, I had great time and enjoyed every second of it. Hotel is a good value for money and in excellent location. Beach and all the wonders of pattaya is only couple of mintues walk away. Hotel also have big clean swimming pool and miniture golf course."
