YK stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2008-03-20 and said, "The hotel and rooms generally are clean and breakfast was included for the 900+ baht that I paid for. Transportation to Donsak for the Koh Samui ferry was easily arranged through the receptionist as well, who spoke fluent English. As Suratthani was merely a stop for me to Koh Samui I did not have a chance to use the facilities (and comment on them), however."
Kelvin stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2008-03-20 and said, "The Wang Tai is getting old !!The rooms are OK but need renovating, it may not be the most expensive hotel but large cigarette burn holes in the sofa to not give the best impression :-(Staff friendly and helpful,Evening meal - food OKBreakfast food OKAll in all I would stay there again"
Klepper stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2008-02-07 and said, "We spend one night in the Wang Tai Hotel. It is a very nice and big hotel with a big lounge, with coffeebar etc. The room was very big and clean with a three sit and a two sits chair. The restaurant was good with live music. We would go there again."
Ian stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2007-12-29 and said, "Hello to everyone at the Wang Tai Hotel,Thank you for your email. We had a very happy stay at your hotel. We had fun in Surat Thani. We send VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Charchoi on the front desk who gave us so much help in hiring a car and making us feel very welcome. Please give him a promotion! The air conditioning in our room was very noisy but not as noisy as the animals in the jungle at Kao Sok National Park where we spent 10 wonderful days and nights. All of the staff were very lovely.Kind regards,Wendy Ramage Jones"
Dirk stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2007-08-01 and said, "comparing the price and what you get, it is o.k.! But be aware: the best is the outer facade and the lobby, inside the rooms in 2nd floor and the restaurant have very much used furnature and it looks not really clean. The breakfest buffet is most likely asia food, but not the best one I have seen. To stay there for a night is o.k., but I can not recommend it for extended stays. The Tuktuk taxis are low cost and so you might go to the city easily."
Kelvin stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2007-02-16 and said, "Good value for the money. Staff helpfull. Breakfast and evening meal OK.Will use again."
Helen stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2006-08-05 and said, "this was a terrible place. the smell of the rooms was to bad/ we only stayed here because we came by train from butterworth and itwas to late to go to ko samui."
Anand stayed at Wang Tai Hotel on 2004-01-03 and said, "The staff were pleasant, especially those in the restaurant. We had minor problems with finding individuals that spoke english well enough to help get us to the bus station, but were eventually able to figure it out on our own."
