Maren said, "Great location and a great deal--on May 1, the rates are less than half, so we splurged on the beach front rooms facing the Andaman Sea with stunning views of the sunset from our porch. Windows a bit drafty with gaps between them, but drapes that solved the problem. Few people so no problem with beach chairs. B fast basic, restaurant on the beach w/ big menu, plenty of other restaurants and bars on the beach. Pool small, but nice w/ slide and jacuzzi."

atchariya said, "The hotel quite good and quiet. The facility is good compare to the other resort. When back out, this is the only place can provide electricity but the other resorts can not. For 1800 got standard room, I think too expensive, the bathroom should be more developed and also the blanket. This resort is suitable for family. bY Conclusion, it s the good place with good service. I am impressed."

Kristian said, "The hotel held a magnificant standard and the bungalows too. We lived in bungalow with beach/sea wiev and it was really great. Bungalow E-01 - very good placement.The staff was very nice. Their poolarea included with breakfast/poolrestaurant was great. Even better was their restaurant down at the beach. Only one thing..Beware of the mosqitos at night. Be protected. One dinner at the beachrestaurants can be destroyed because of all bites from mosqitos.I sincerely recommend this hotel and we will come back again, maybe so soon as 2009. The place was so peacefull and we lived in harmony."

Niclas said, "This is a nice hotel. The staff is realy helpfull and friendly. Good lokation in the middle of Klong dao beach with everything neerby. The bungalows where clean and spacious and close to the beach. This is a place to reccomend!!"

ANNE said, "I finded this hotel very gut. I was in Lanta many times, I ve tried other hotels but I find Lanta Resort is the best that I ve tried.The hotel is on the Beach. There is a lot of northern familes in this hotel. I hardly recommand this hotel"

Ingegerd said, "It´s a very nice hotel, with tropical garden view and close to the beach. They had good breakfast and helpful staff. The only negative was the bad smell sometimes from the sewer."

Michael said, "Excellent place for children with a safe beach and Swedish School on site.To us this was the fundamental problem since it gave rise to a large number of young children from which there was no escape.It also meant breakfast was a salutary experience given this high level of droppings , not helped by staff less then diligent in cleaning up tables and floor.Room not well cleaned, a lot of ants and no telephone. There was also a lack of sun beds on the beach area.Front desk staff helpful, the rest seemed pretty depressed. Main pool not cleaned daily.As a general observation there is a lack of shade on the beach; some enterprising soul should establish a beach bed/sunshade service."

Gabriele said, "Our overall impression of the resort was that it was bad maintained. The whole looked a little old and in our view need a big renovation. We had a superior beach view bungalow. The walls of the bungalow were full of unidentied spots, the toilet was leaking and caused a bad smell in the whole bungalow. The furniture looked old and used. We hadn t had such a bad breakfast buffet in a long time. Very basic. The hotel was loaded with Scaninavian tourists and that sets the atmosphere.Good points of Southern Lanta Resort: it is nice situated on the beachfront. As the breakfast was so bad, we did not dare to try the restaurant, although it has a nice beachview."

Veronica said, "Ok standard on bungalow. Pool was not cleaned during our visit. So it was quite dirty. The restaurant was not he best. Felt like a school restaurant.Food was ok but not spectacular.Friendly staff & nice and clean garden. Would like to visit during high season."

Ann said, "Service where ok. The pool hade too much clor, the bikini lost colour and became 5 sizes bigger!. Moskitos in room. AC was noicy. Toilett did´nt work every day, but where fixed as soon as we asked for help. Good service."

sissel said, "this hotel is to expenisive. the bungalows smells, its not enough water in the shower, and the service is bad. we will never, ever stay here again. the outdoor area is good but not as good as you can get in other areas of thailand for a better price. Its not worth going to Koh Lanta at all."

John said, "The hotel met our needs....which were to relax, lookaround the area and visit with friends from Sweden. This was our first trip to Thailand and first experience with resorts in the area. The proximity of the beach to the hotel was a definite plus. It was enjoyable to walk along the beach at any time without having to go a distance to find a place to walk, eat or sit. There were two problems in our room, one, ants into our luggage, and the towel bar was broken. We made mention of the towel bar and hopefully it was repaired. All in all, the experience was pleasant."
