Sonja stayed at Phi Phi Hotel on 2008-07-02 and said, "The booking did not worked as it should and the staff on the hotel did not handle it well at all. The demanded several paper that I had om the mail and did not take the voucher so I had to look up an internetcafe 12.30 pm to satisfay them and did not get the breakfastkupong without getting angry. It costed me 100 bth exta to print out the paper.Never again"

Edward stayed at Phi Phi Hotel on 2008-07-01 and said, "We have stayed here previously and both times enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is ideally situated and whilst it looks a bit outdated from the outside the rooms are always clean and comfy and for the price they are great. We were lucky enough to get a room on the corner so we had 2 balcony s with one being absolutely huge! The front reception can get busy and they are not always that attentive but overall the hotel is excellent and we have enjoyed both stays and would return again."

Des longtails vous emmèneront sur les îles, ou sur de jolis plages de phi phi.L hotel est de standing europeen, un peu fané, pas beaucoup de charme, mais tellement bien placé!!!Le sourire des personnes à l accueil devait être en supplément, car pas très accueillantes.En pleine saison, comme il est près des animations, il se révèlera peut être un peu bruyant, mais pour début avril, c était parfait. Attention il ne propose que le petit déjeuner, sous forme de buffet, très copieux."

We did however miss a proper hotel restaurant or hotel bar. The central beaches in Ton Sai village are not very nice these days, but catch a longtail boat to Long beach (80 baht) to enjoy a perfectly beautiful beach."

I stay there (4 people) in 1 room but they only give 2 towels!! even worst they accused us to steal the towel. What for? We are able to pay you 4700 Bath and we stole your towel?"

Had a mountain view room and it was fantastic - really big with massive bed! Could have done with some seats on the balcony to chill out there. Great shower too. Great breakfast, you get the works, and the staff are friendly too. The pool is good although would have been better with more loungers around it! Had a lovely stay!!"

Andrew stayed at Phi Phi Hotel on 2008-03-08 and said, "The hotel is situated very close to the pier in the very busy centre of the Ton Sai Bay. There are many shops, travel agents, restaurants and the like in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is nice with spacious and clean rooms and small but nice bathrooms. The swimming pool has only four loungers for all the guests, not that you would want to sit round the pool on the Phi Phi Islands with so many beautiful beaches around. The snorkelling trips are worth going on although Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh (where The Beach was filmed) was very very busy and snorkelling was almost impossible with the boat traffic and the amount of people there all at once. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Phi Phi Hotel and would recommend it."

Jan stayed at Phi Phi Hotel on 2008-02-24 and said, "We decided to stay at phi phi hotel this year based on reviews found on this and other WEB-sites, but also based on our visit to Phi Phi last year where we found this hotel very well situated. We stayed in a seaview room topfloor, probably one of the best rooms at the hotel with one balcony and large terrace outside. We can only give our best recommendations on this hotel even though it is not luxary, it´s just what you need! It has a good price level, good standard and clean, nice staff, decent breakfast, close to the beach, a pool.....ok, no elevator, U have to use the stairs to reach the 5th floor, but who cares it makes good for your body between the Singhas;-)We will definitely stay at Phi Phi hotel on our next visit to Phi Phi.Please dont forget to bring scuba equipment and rent a long tail and go to Phi Phi Ley (early morning!! before it gets crowdy). Do also a trip around the beaches on Phi Phi Don and highly recommended is a visit to Bamboo Island (tell the long tail captain to go to the west side!!).Cheers"

We had to leave the stroller in the lobby everyday, which was ok, but inconvenient when our baby slept at night. We had to carry him five stairs...Don t go here thinking that you will use the swimming pool. That was the dirtiest I have ever seen.In spite of theese two pitfalls, the hotel was great. Breakfast good, the rooms great. Really clean, great seaview. GREAT shower. We had a seaview room. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend this hotel, and will stay there the next time I come to PhiPhi."

Carolina, stayed at Phi Phi Hotel on 2008-02-22 and said, "The hotel was OK. No elevator so it was hard for the kid to get up to the 5th floor. The staff (reciption and the breakfast resturante) were not nice and polite, only the piccolo were nice. The pool is smal and there is only 4 loungers. There is no shadow or unbrella at the pool so it got very hot there. Not that you want to stay there all day but whit children its sometime easy to bee at the pool. The hotel room were clean and fresch. I dont recomend the baby cot for small children. Our kid almost feel out from it. The baby cot must been at least 20 year old. At other hotel in Thailand we got better and safer baby cot. The breakfast was ok/standard."

Is situated in the midle of the beautiful village of Ton Sai where there are restaurants, shops and the area where is easiest to take a taxi boat for your day trips around the island.During the night we didn t have any problem for the noise of the few disco bars as they are situated quite far from the hotel. Other hotels in Phi Phi which are not located in Ton Sai have one big problem: if you want to have dinner in a restaurant or to do some shopping you should came to Ton Sai and during the night there are few taxi boat available, sometime they stop the transfers too early during the evenings especially when the sea get rough.This Hotel is also the highiest point in Ton Sai which is a good thing in case of allarm Tzunami.We loved this hotel, the gentle Thai people and this wonderful paradise which is colled Phi Phi Island. A minute walk from the main pier and right in between the swimming beach and the boating beach. An easy walk to everything and if you stay in a beach view room you get a amazing view of the boat beach and the mountains. Highly recommended if you want a basic hotel room with satellite television, a pool and easy access to everywhere. The breakfast was alright with a few simple choices. Lots of other restaurants right at the front door to choose from."
