Daniel stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2008-02-16 and said, "Bungalow simple and functional. Bathroom ok, but very warm during daytime due to plastic roof (Bathroom built like kind of an add-on ). Also notice that the wall is open about a 30 cm under the bathroom roof, so you can expect some animalvisitors.Since you spend your days outside anyway this didn t bother us to much. The hotel area is nice, lots of plants. Wery quiet and peaceful next to the beach. Poolarea seemed ok, didn t use it. Beakfast was also good.All in all we have nothing to complain about."

Hurlimann stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2008-02-15 and said, "Location very good, right on beach. Nice beach for kids. Swimming pool also good. But if you have high standards of cleanliness, please don t come here. Rooms not too clean. Needed an extra mattress for young child - was black and had obviously never been cleaned. Plates and glassed left near pool long after the guests have gone. Also the thai friendly staff were nowhere to be seen. They acted as if they couldn t give a damn. A shame because the place could be so much better."

joakim stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2007-12-30 and said, "Hello, I and my family stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort from 2007-12-30 until 2008-01-12. We had unfortunately a little bit higher expectation about the stay compare to what we got. The Bungalows it self was okey but the areas (garden) between the bungalows wasn´t that nice. The owner doesn´t give the personal priority for that.They did restoration on Lanta Long Beach pool during our stay (close to our bungalow) so we had to use Nakara´s pool instead and they had problems to keep the pool water clean. Some of the two pools were closed some days. The beach is not either that clean as before. Turists can´t bring back all rubbish like water bottles and so on (not the resorts mistakes). The resturang is anyhow good. To be honest I can´t really recommend Lanta Long- or Nakara resort. To high price compare to what you get. But the nearness to the nice beach restaurants in north direction is anyhow one benefit."

Thomas stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2007-12-30 and said, "I booked a standard room since it was the only availible at the time. It was nothing standard at all, i guess the have a few bungalows in the outskirts they only use if necessary. But this was way overpriced for its standard (bungalow 721). However i managed to upgrade to the only availble room, a family deluxe room with only 800 bath diffrence per night. Lucky me, it was perfect. Good service in reception and so on. But restuarant was way to slow, over one hour to get any food for 9 persons in an empty restuarant... Not good. Good location on Long Beach. Except the terrible standard bungalow thing i enjoyed my stay here very much."

The staff were helpful and efficient, the rooms very clean, very good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, good clean swimming pools, good beachside location with choice of bars and restaurants close by."

Mr stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2007-04-02 and said, "Very nice stay, food excellent, friendly service - a big resort now they have merged with Nakara, in high season it would be very crowded and there are only a few umbrellas on the beach for much needed shade. Beach is lovely - and a nice laid-back beach bar scene in the evenings. 2 good clubs on the main road and the fab CLub Ibark 20 minutes motorbike ride away. Note of caution - the fans in the premier fan rooms are not powerful enough to give even a little breeze, we had to upgrade to aircon. Rooms are very nice though. We d stay there again!"

Par stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2007-03-16 and said, "Bad hotel, will not recommend this hotel to others, poor standard of room, big holes in the floor, many bugs in the room, mold in the walls and roof, poor bathrooms, bad/no cleaning of rooms. We upgraded to nearby Nakara Resort instead, but this hotel was no good either. We check-out 2 days earlier because of bad standard and bugs and went back to karon beach again instead. We didn´t get refund for the two days we didn´t stay."

We had two bungalows with connection door for our big family. We forgot that there was a swimming pool so this was a nice surprise - The beach is however very nice; clean and good sand. Friendly and helpful staff - however you have to have patience when ordering food."

Quit on the beach.Hotel team is not very friendly but you do not real see them. P-Up was very good at the peer. Breakfast at the Hotel is nice. Swimming pool is small and nice for kids but most of the time you are on the beach.Go to the north 5 minutes and you have all the nice and quit bars you need.If you look for a simple quit and bungalow this is your place. If you want a bit more this resort have better rooms on the other side. They call it Nakara�or similar."

Stephan stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2006-03-22 and said, "The hotel is located on a nice beach, however the way from the main road is very dirty as there is a rubbish depony. The rooms are not in the best shape, especially the windows are broken so you cannot open them overnight for a sea breeze. the table on the restaurants were dirty so a lot of aims came ther to eat. Lastly the staff was in contrast to the remainining people not very friendly at all not even smiling a bit. At all Lanta Island is very dirty not a recommendation to stay. For divers PP would be more appropriate to go to Hin Daeng for example."

Our roof fan was too high up in order to cool enough.The pictures seems to be accurate. Staff could be a bit more alert. We recommend it."

Keli stayed at Lanta Long Beach Resort on 2005-12-09 and said, "I stayed in a beachfront bungalow, and it was just as I had imagined it. The bungalow was roomy and clean, and it sits on a nice stretch of beach. The beds (1 queen and 1 twin) were a little firm for my taste but OK - I didn t have trouble sleeping on them. There s a nice deck attached with a table and chairs - a really nice spot to watch the sunset. Although the resort is a little ways outside town, the resort offers motorbike and jeep rentals, and taxis are usually available. The only downside was that the beachfront bungalows seemed to have more mosquitoes than the others (based on a report from travelers who had switched out of the bungalow I was in), but there are mosquito nets in the bungalow. Between using the net and the mosquito coils I picked up in town I didn t have too much of a problem. The food is good and the staff is wonderful, especially Tip. Given the opportunity I would absolutely stay there again."

The place is still half empty!! Bad customer service at reception!"

Relaxing Rate 100%, natural beach was beautiful and the food excellent! One point to be improved: not everybody from the Service speaks English ..."
