Phil stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-06-21 and said, "The hotel is beautiful and all the staff are helpful except one guy on reception. The breakfast is excellent but as this is our 4th time here we are still disappointed with the evening meals so we ate at the beach resturants, we love the location it is very quiet, the beach is well kept and quiet, the rooms are comfortable with no TV which suited me. The snorkelling and diving are fantastic. Services supplied by the Holiday Inn are over priced, we booked a limosine from the airport to the ferry from the Holidat Inn office in Phuket airport it cost TB450 which is reasonable and the lady was very helpful however when we wanted to book a limo from the ferry to the airport through the hotel reception they wanted TB 1,500 which is not at all reasonable and when I questioned it was told by the guy on reception that This is the hotel price if you don t like it book one yourself which we did a lot cheaper. It is the same for the longtail boats the same boat that the hotel uses is a lot cheaper from the owner and not the hotel. But still a great holiday destination and we will be back in a few months"
Gillian stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-05-06 and said, "Lovely place, nice cabin, great buffet. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I was surprised to see reef and beautiful parrot fish, angel fish, spiky black anenomes and even an eel right there within the swimming nets on the beach directly in front of the hotel. Even better snorkelling just 20 mins by long boat at Mosquito Island. Sitting on the decking at the bar with the sea lapping at the edge of the deck just 2 metres away was just great. The beach was never crowded, just lovely."
Evelyn stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-05-03 and said, "This is our second visit in 12months and like the 1st visit it is fantastic place to just relax, such a beautiful location and the people are so friendly,we nearly cancelled our 1st visit after reading very negative reviews but then decided to go and after visiting thought that some people are just picky and some people are never happy, all my husband and myself can say is go and experiance it for yourself it is not 5 star but it,s great if you are normall everyday people we are planning to return in october hopefully, don,t expect nightlife cause there is,nt any just a quiet beautifull place to relax if you have thought about going do it i don,t think you will be dissapointed."
quentin stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-04-14 and said, "A real PARADISE ! We ll go back there ASAP !"
Michele stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-04-01 and said, "Holiday Inn is in a great location. Very peaceful and picturesqe. Rooms are pretty basic so dont expect traditional Thai furniture or decor. Breakfast excellent! Staff very helpful and polite. Go vist the sea Gypsy village along the beach. Great cheap restaurant and longtail/speadboat hire. Hotel rates a very expensive for same service. Hotel restaurant very expensive also."
Andrea stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-03-18 and said, "Fantastic beach! At low tide, we were able to walk about 200m out and still be about chest deep. There were lots of fish for snorkling and a marked area for swimming (away from the longboats and speedboats). Food was reasonably priced and we took avantage of the 3 happy hours of the day.Our bungalow was supposedly seaview but we could only see the beach if we stood in a corner and looked between another row of bungalows. Bungalow itself was good but the showers need upgrading."
Troels stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-02-14 and said, "Just a perfect place to have a nice and quite holiday. The resort was just great, the staff was very helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was the best we ever have experienced. We were a family 2 adults and 2 children witch maybe was to many for the small cottage, but we would do it again. Best regards Troels"
Ingebord stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2008-01-18 and said, "The hotel is just wonderful. Every little detail is studied carefully for guests to have a great stay. The bar and the restaurant are absolutely wonderful and the rooms (bungalows) are so pretty ! The swimming pool is huge and the beach in front of the hotel is very clean and extremely pretty. The hotel is far away from downtown Phi Phi but if you are looking for a relaxing farniente stay, this is the place to come. We had a wonderful experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. 5 star hotel for sure !"
Raghav stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2007-09-11 and said, "Holiday inn resort was simply fablous. We recomend everyone who travels to Phuket, to spend a few days at Holiday inn Phi Phi Island"
Joerg stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2007-06-02 and said, "This was the most special place we have ever stayed,in our many visits around the world! WE LOVE IT!!!Great service and very, very friendly peoples.Good breakfest and fast service around the clock!I´m shure: we come back!!"
Bake stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2007-05-05 and said, "This is a very nice resort, with an exceptional beach and water at your doorstep. While the rooms are pretty basic and in need of refurbishment (this is already underway), they are comfortable and clean and the resort facilities and surrounds make up for this. The Satay Sunset Bar at the top of the hill is great for a late afternoon drink while watching the sun set over Phuket and the Andaman Sea. We had a brief look at the other 3 resorts in the immediate vicinity and must say that unless you have deep pockets to afford the 5-star Zeavola Resort then the Holiday Inn is the definite pick. You can hire a long tail boat and driver for a couple of hours or the whole day at reasonable prices and explore the snorkelling spots and beaches around Phi Phi Don, head down to Phi Phi Lay or, as we did, explored Mosquito and Bamboo Islands, just 20 minutes from the resort. Bamboo Island has an excellent beach and is a great place to take a picnic lunch. You just need to be out of there by around 1:00pm when the tour boats pull in with hoards of life-jacketed snorkel bunnies. If you are planning on staying on Phi Phi (and your definitely should to get the most out of it) you really need at least 2 clear days (3 nights) minimum to get the most out of your visit.A word of warning though; whatever travel time they quote for the ferries that run between Phuket and Phi Phi, double it. We left the Holiday Inn on the morning ferry at 7:30am and didn’t arrive back at Phuket until 12:30pm. The biggest delay was in Tonsai Bay where we waited for late connecting ferries from all over the place it would seem, not to mention the tourists that realised at the last minute that they were on the wrong boat. A definite downside to an otherwise great visit! If you have the numbers or the necessary cash, take a speed boat! Thanks to all the staff at the Holiday Inn, especially Sven.Bake & Linda, Sydney Australia"
Renae stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2007-03-19 and said, "This was definately about a 3 or 3.5 star resort. I thought the price was way to expensive and there policy on no cash to be used can also bump up the price as you are always charging things on your card. The meals and drinks were pricey and the massage is expensive and not worth the money (we walked out). Definitely better places to stay I think. Won t stay there again."
victor stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2006-11-16 and said, "This is a first class hotel. The service was outstanding and the location was fantastic. Would highly recommend."
Arad stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2006-10-11 and said, "amazing place . very good service and hotelthe beach is privte and one of the best in phi phi. there is a viewpoint in the hotel that you can see the sunset in the evening rooms are clean and with a safe boxthe resturant is expensive and allso the bar but it was worth it. i will go there again"
Phil stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2006-07-26 and said, "I would recommend this resort to anybody wanting a beautiful relaxing holiday, the staff are very helpful and always smiling, rooms and facilities are very good, NO TV s in the rooms which for me was good. the resturant and all meals are excellent especially the breakfast. We loved the snorkelling around the coral which is just off the beach and the equipment was supplied free by the sports centre. Excellent service throughout. I m going back ASAP."
Emma stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2006-05-16 and said, "We stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The accommodation was fantastic, the staff are so helpful and courteous, epsecially Jay at the Mong Thalay Bar. Just a short stroll down the beach you ll find other restaurants if you get tired of the food and entertainment at the resort. Easy to get to Ton Sai Bay for shopping when you feel like mingling with society again. We will definitely stay here again."
Melissa stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island on 2005-10-28 and said, "The hotel was wonderful !! We were greeted with a nice cool refreshing face cloth. The entire stay was wonderful. Everything was clean and beautiful and looked like paradise. The staff was awesome and catered to our every need. The kids has a marvelous time. We didn t want to leave and go back home."
