The Greenery Hotel

John said, "I enjoyed this hotel so much that I clean. What made it special for me was the lovely Thai staff who are a little shy but if you make the effort to smile and chat to them they open up.Room was a good size with usual ammenities, TV, fridge, air con, en-suite etc.Breakfast was a simple affair, adequete and not expensive.Hotel location is only a 5 minute stroll to the centre of Krabi town where transport is available to the beach etc.Overall I thought this hotel was good value for money and would stay here again if in Krabi town."

ANNE said, "Very clean. For 800 Bath, it s a very very good room. It s 10-15 minutes walk to the pier, not really in the center but I hardly recommand this Hotel. For me, it wasn t a problem but my room was at the 4th floor and there isn t a Lift...."

Janet said, "This is a pleasant enough hotel, particularly for the price, with clean and cool rooms (with air con) and hot showers. The downside is the noise that comes from a nearby bar. If you re tired, as we were, you ll manage to sleep through it, and it does stop at a reasonable time. The breakfast here is less than appetising however!"

Philippa said, "Nice hotel: clean and central. But they cannot speak good Enlish at ALL, their Maths sucks (so they charge you for things that you didnt order), so check the costs that they quote you. People not so friendly."

Darren said, "clean , friendly. hot water in shower. TV in rooms. cost me 800 baht a night (mid Jan) . Overall very nice hotel, short walk to local bars restaurants etc. Very slighty out of the centre but not far enough to make it an issue."

The hotel staffs are very helpful although their English is not good (like me). About the music from the bar across the hotel, I don t think it bother my sleep. The sound is not so loud. And Maharat Road is the good location for shopping."

Peters said, "We intended to stay for 3 days, but we spend 7 days in the The Greenery Hotel.We liked this hotel! The rooms are fine, quiet, and the AC is fine!The Greenery is situated in the middle of the town, only some meters from the morning market and night market. Nevertheless the Hotel has a fine garden and it is situated in a quiet place. All restaurants and shops, and Down Town are only some hundred meters away.We can t understand the comments in the internet, speeking about too much noise! The music in the restaurant next door will turnd of at 22:00 But if you want to sleep during the total day, or if you want to stay in the desert and not in the middle of the town, please don t choose the Greenery! I don t like to meet you guys there!"

Angie said, "Location is on the main road, which is good. At 800 baht per night, we thought it was a bit overpriced for what we got. Room and furniture were a bit old, but still not bad at all. Overall I thought it was a good place to stay, just a bit overpriced that s all."

Steve said, "The hotel i s agood hotel for a stop over.. we only tidy. The staff where not the normal friendly type didnt seem to have much to say... The location was good in the heart of the town so it was easy to go out and get some food.... 10 mins walk from the night market... the ferry form here to phiphi was a 10 min mini van ride.... dont worry about having breakfast here in wasnt very good....."

The hotel arranged the ferry and the transfer for the terminal for me. They have an internet cafe and a nice little garden for breakfast. I felt the staff not being very friendly."

Marta said, "Nice and clean hotel. We have enjoyed the live music - coming from the neighbouring bar - from the balcony. We the hotel has NO adaptors! I had to walk abt 300 meters to a hardware store where nobody speaks english and i had to find my own adaptor in a sea of products in that shop!!! It s a 4 storey bldg with no lift, so i had v gd exercise climbing up & down as i was given a rm on the 4th flr. The front desk staff doesn t speak even basic english well except for a lady in glasses whose only there occasionally"

William said, "The pictures that you see of hotel are exactly as it is. What it does not show is that right next door to the hotel is a club which have live bands/music playing until 2am most nights. Also the walls seperating the rooms are very thin allowing my wife and I the joy of listening to the person next door throwing up most of the night. I had payed for 3 nights but stayecd only 1 before moving to the Krabi Sea View Hotel, a much better hotel in a more convienient part of town. The staff at the Greenary were very helpful and understanding about the situation, explaining that many previous guests had left due to not being able to sleep."

Rebecca said, "The hotel is really clean and big enough for 2, except for a few ants here and there. It s a good place to stay considering the cost. The air conditioning and fridge takes some time to cool though.I didn t like the fact that there is no lift so I need to climb up 3 stories to my room each time. It s not so easy when you re carrying heavy luggages. Request for a room away from the pub next door as it can be noisy. There are rooms with a small balcony, I wished I had requested for them though. There is a really wonderful massage place to the left (from entrance) of the hotel too. It s cheap & good."

Very well maintained property with helpful and friendly staff. Adequate breakfast available in restaurant down stairs. Would stay here again."
