Koeman stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2008-05-28 and said, "Nice hotel accept from the fact that 2000 Baths and a note of 5 Euro has been stolen from our SAFETYDEPOSIT -box in the hotel room. Clearly it had to be someone off the hotel-staff. The diner the management offered us was a laughter. We even had to pay for the drinks."
Malin stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2008-02-28 and said, "Too expensive for what you get. Small boring rooms and small swimmingpool. The location was very good though."
Christian stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2008-02-07 and said, "We got room - superior see view - very good. The staaf didn t speak so god english but anyway they were friendly. Breakfast could have been better."
Kay stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-12-06 and said, "We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach Terrace and thought it godd value for money. The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to the shops and long tail boat stops. The first room we were allocated was rather small and lacked a balcony. However, when I requested a move to an alternative room and hotel were very accommodating and upgraded us free of charge. The staff were all extremely helpful and the room was cleaned to a high standard every day."
Justin stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-10-18 and said, "BAD Bad service... waited for airport transfer for 1 hour cause driver was missing... Driver came without apology....Rush to the hotel like F1 racing... From a 40min trip to a 20 min trip.... The receptionist didnt explain to us anything....we thought she told us that we are only entitle to only one breakfast.... we miss all out breakfast.... They didnt give us explaination why the driver was late.... It was my worse experience in Krabi.... Lousy service"
arantxa stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-03-28 and said, "Altogether average. We equestedfor adeluxe sea view and we were give a room taht looks into a wall and beside the sewage, what a smell. We asked to eb changed and we wre given a bigger room which was nice but still look at the wall.It was hard to get a smile from the satff and tehy spoke very pooor engis besde one or two. The location is very good in Ao Nag. Braekfast is decent but limited, after a couple of days you will be bored. Anyway, there are plenty of other restaurants around to chose from.Would defently go back to Krabi, at Ao Nang but would chose another hotel.HOtel was decent for teh price, do not expect anything fantastic. Rooms were clean."
Stig stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-03-08 and said, "Room ok, nice wiev from the balcony. Well situated by the beach, near the Longtail boats. Nice staff but not so good English."
Fam stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-02-21 and said, "Ett enkelt, men bra och prisvärt hotel!Trevlig personal, bra städning och bra frukost.Nice hotel.Rooms were basic, but still well equipped with AC, TV and DVD-player.Rooms were well kept, cleaning excellent. Hotel restaurant good, with nice and friendly staff, as rest of hotel. Pool area basic but good, clean and well kept.In overall, hotel gave good value for money. Only - minor - wish might be that staff English skills improve a little..."
Simon stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-02-21 and said, "We were desperate for a room for the night and this hotel was available. Aonang Beach was very busy during the time we were staying, so rooms were hard to come by. This still does not excuse the awful greeting we received on arrival, virtually being shouted at as to whether we had a confirmed booking. Ignoring the mardy-ass woman representative at reception, all other staff we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful....As the saying goes, you gets whats you pays for . Room was clean, but dull, in need of some updating. Shower..... hot, cold, just right, cold.....get the idea. Breakfast, standard stuff. Ok for a night, but look around and really take notice of peoples reviews and comments. We stayed in 4 hotels in Aonang so got a good idea of accomodation. Pay a little bit extra and stay somewhere nice, it s worth it! You only live once! Vogue is very nice."
Mr stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-02-12 and said, "We were delighted with the Beach Terrace Hotel. Super position. Right on the beach and with an abundance of superb sea-food restaurants, including their own overlooking the beach. We liked Krabi and its longtail boats which have not yet been pushed out by the big yuppy speedboats. Pity that the developers are now spoiling Railay with massive development on this once beautiful piece of paradise. Don t miss the kayak adventure to Au Thalene. The canyon is amazing. The highlight of our holiday and not too expensive or strenuous. We will certainly go back to Krabi before it is spoiled as so much of Thailand is now becoming."
Annika stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-02-10 and said, "Our stay at Krabi was great, but our booking at Beach Terrace Hotel was not what we had expected. We had sent a special comment that we had some special celebrations and we would like to have special rooms at high floor with balcony and seawiew. This was confirmed 6 months before we arrived. But when we arrived at the hotel we were given small rooms at the backside of the hotel without balcony for one of the families. We critized the rooms and got new ones after some days and many comments, but one family had to move three times during one week. This is not acceptable when you book 7 months before arriving and get confirmation on yor booking! Otherwise nice staff, excellent restaurant and a good area."
David stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-01-24 and said, "I enjoyed my short stay in this hotel. Good points:Good position in Ao Nang (the most active area in Krabi) having an exit directly onto the main shopping street on one side, and steps to the main beach on the other. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Clean comfortable a/c rooms with all the basic facilities you would require. Neutral point: Hotel car for airport transfer worked well - but getting a private taxi from the airport would have been equally as good. Bad points: a bit pricey for what it was (the Best Western over the road with bigger pool is better known and was marginally cheaper), loungers around the small pool were all completely taken on two occasions (but it was high season); food OK but no more than that. I agree with earlier comments that paying extra for poolside rooms is a waste. Cheaper rooms in the main block were actually better positioned. On balance I liked it enough to stay an extra few days despite looking at several other more expensive and cheaper hotels in the area as an alternative - but mainly because my specific room 208 had an advantage over all others even though it was in the mid price range - It had a large private terrace (as all four corner rooms on this floor do) but it was the only one to catch the sun all day long - a pleasant alternative to sitting by the busy pool."
danser stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2007-01-14 and said, "room on 5th floor with a nice view of main building to recommend, as there is more privacy than downstairs rooms, with a lot of people passing all day to the restaurant etc.the rooms are well maintained! the staff is extremely kind and helpful and even when the internet is not in your room it is a great service to have it in a airconditioned space at a very reasonble fee.the breakfast is ok and the lunches and inners, specialy with fish are to be called good!your stay will not be regretted!eduard danser"
Peter stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-12-21 and said, "The hotel was excellent. Great location, beautiful restaurant right on the beach and the best spring rolls I ve ever tasted!! The staff were very friendly and even upgraded our room to a deluxe. Views from the higher floors are better. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully stay again!"
Gregory stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-12-08 and said, "All was great with hotel and staff, Food was good and priced right for area. One of best ocean veiws from room, would stay there again. Hotel will pick you up and drop off @ airport but will be charged 600 baht each way. I paid driver when dropped off at hotel, not front desk so he got big tip my bad, his day off was my last when I recieved bill, HA HA on me."
Mark stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-12-05 and said, "Great location, a stone throw from Ao Nang beach and the main tourist shopping areas. Room was to our satisfaction. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower tap was a bit weak for our liking and breakfast served could be improved."
Bassel stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-10-26 and said, "Hotel is good value for money. Clean and spacious rooms. The hotel s restaurant is actually where we had one of our best seafood dinners, at a very good price. One downside was the level of english of most staff which made communication difficult."
Maud stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-09-24 and said, "Very nice hotel. Great breakfast at the terrace close to the sea. Great seaview. Good service. DVD on the rooms!! The poolbar wasn´t open when we where there. The location of the hotel is good. On the right side of the road close to everything."
Clarke stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-08-27 and said, "Great place - clean, nice room & view. Staff were very friendly & helpful. I would defintely stay there again."
André stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2006-01-06 and said, "In general we were satisfied with the hotel. We asked for a room on high floor, balcony with seaview , which we got.Breakfast restaurant - fantastic view on the beach and longtailboat traffic.A good start for the day.Buffet is basic but sufficient.Employees are very kind, however their english knowledge is almost nil, with the exception of the reception manager.Cleaning of the room could be better. We had to ask for extra cleaning of the floor, which was done immediately on request. We can recommend the hotel, but ask for a standard room, which are all in the hotel building. Better view 5 th. floor). Bungalow rooms are more expensive, situated along the path from the hotel building to the restaurant. (no privacy at all, and no view)We had a great stay of 3 weeks, and if we should come and visit Ao Nang Krabi again, Beach Terrace is our favourit choice."
Marcus stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2005-11-27 and said, "Great visit!!"
barry stayed at Beach Terrace Hotel on 2005-10-08 and said, "What a gem of a hotel. The restaurant has the best views and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are simple but clean and the hotel staff try very hard to help the guests. We will definately stay there again when we revisit Ao Nang."
