Justine stayed at Aonang Mountain Paradise on 2008-03-17 and said, "When we arrived we were upgraded to one of their VIP bungalows (I think they were called that). Our fellow travelers were placed in the freestanding stone bungalows. Our room was lovely. All wood with a large sitting area outside. But it turned out that the room was not in any way soundproof or sealed of from the adjoining room. Our kind neighbours smoked through the night (I am a smoker) and the smoke flowed freely into our room all night. As did their very loud TV. I would highly recommend the stone bungalows. They were totally private, clean and pleasant. The staff at this venue are not only friendly but truly lovely. They took the time to get to know us and chat. The pool is lovely and very clean too.I would definitely return here. Price is excellent, staff friendly and prices of drinks and food very reasonable indeed. I even received a free gin and tonic when I got back from a very long day trip on a boat..sunburnt and thirsty!I would even choose the wooden chalet/bungalow again if it was properly sealed off from the adjoining room."
