Abel said, "Very Nice Hotel, Service and Bungalow also very good, reasonable price and a good restaurant. We enjoyed our stay at Sensi Paradise Resort and we would recommend the Resort."
Leutschacher/Heidekrueger said, "Sensi Paradise is definately one of or the best hotel of the island. The location is set up so elegantly into the fauna that you don t feel like in a resort at all. The bungalow (312) was equiped with anything we could think of (sarong, torch, insect spray etc.) and we enjoyed the space and the luxury of having our own access to the ocean just off the balcony. Housereef is fabulous (squits, plenty of different fishes, corals etc.) and the wrack just in front of the sensi restaurant nice as well. Service was overly great, food very nice and the 5 o clock tea and the Bangkok Post to the room everyday unbeatable. We will go back for sure. (p.s. even a cold shower on Ko Tao still has approx. 30°C). Tanja & André, Germany"
wang said, "it is a good place to your vacation, although we take our 6 years old boy, we still enjoy the trip. the regret is no swimming pool, but the room is good, it is big, comfortbale, view is good, totally said it is good at all.but when we check out, the staff tell us if use credit card, we will be charged 2.5% service fee, it make us a little of emberrace cause of no enough cash."
PK said, "Koh Tao is a great place to stay, much calmer than Koh Samui, but filled with young kids under 30 years old. Probably Sensi is a sort of lux place for them, however, if you are family with kids or not back packer type or just want to relax, it s the place to stay.Staff are well trained and helpful with smile all the time. All rooms are nicely designed and located just enough distance each other. Food in the restaurant is, of course expensive than town though, very well prepared."
Rober said, "this was a wonderful resort. Our room was very beautiful (312). the staff were incredibly helpful. nice touches like cold water and cold towels delivered to you on the beach.only drawback was the very sharp coral that is everywhere on the beach adjacent to the hotel. there are not enough warnings about this and people should ensure their children wear jelly type shoes in the water at all times. both my son and I suffered severe cuts on our feet (beautifully dressed by one of the waitresses). i would highly recommend this resort."
Inger said, "We loved it! Very nice location and very nice bungalows. Staff very friendly and serviceminded.Very exotic.Couldn´t be better, wished we could have helpful. The beach was private and good for snorkelling. The restaurant had excellent food and not to far into the main street. Would definately stay here again. If diving use Master Divers."
LIAT said, "AMAZING LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN...Sensi Paradise was all that the name stands for and more. The Bongalows are located in the middle of a green rain forest, only a few steps to the beach.. You get to hear beautiful sounds of nature all around you.. The staff was very very nice, always smiling and doing their best to serve you kindly. The rooms are being cleaned twice a day, always leaving you flowers on the bed, newspaper on the porch and fresh fruits...Every little detale has been carefully taken to concideration, you even get a free to use sairee, sun-umbrellas, drinking water.. Some of the rooms have hot showers. We had it in no.13, but I guess it s not so bad even if you don t have it, it s hot outside anyway.. I defenantly reccomend this place, it s worth every penny, and it was absulutly GREAT !"
Tom said, "Everything was perfect. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff always ready to help you. Small quiet private beach. Great for svimming and snorkling. Nothing at all to complain about. On a scale from 1 to 10, the place scores 9. (to score 10, something extra besides the expected is mandatory, fx being upgraded from economy to business class on a plane)"
couple said, "We the stuff was very friendly & smiling and helpfull. Location was ok a bit too close to the pier but it was still ok. Great private beach. Good food at the hotels´s own restaurant. Very cheap room service fee, only add 15% on top of the whole bill and thats it:) We really enjoyed our holiday there and will go back next year. Koh Tao is amazing place!"
Lamy said, "Overall, a very nice place to stay at: excellent accomodations, great location, quiet but close to the city, nice, clean and comfortable bungalows. Balconies are dangerous for children though (so we couldn t enjoy it during daytime when our baby was awake), and I would recommend the hotel management to develop a children kit (some nets or other kinds of protections so that there s no risk children might fall off the balconies). The staff at the restaurant could be more friendlier. Most staff were very nice and polite, but 2 or 3 waitresses were unbearable."
Marc said, "Only one word: great. A fantatsic place to stay, to live, to eat. It is also a great place to stay with little children. Very friendly people, very good service."
Ted said, "A very Charming Resort on Ko Tao. Weespecially enjoyed our 7 day stay at SensiParadise - one of ur favourite during our monthlong visit to Thailand. Thai Style Villa s with fantastic terraces and views. The restaurant food and service (Hi Mini!) is the best in the area.Daily newspaper and afternoon tea delived to your Villa was a nice touch. The Beach area is OK with mamy close by coves for snorkeling.Highly recommended !"
Jasmin said, "We we love it. It is quite expensive for Thailand but it s worth it. We had a romantic bungalow and it was fantastic. A very big room and a huge terrace with a bed on it and a nice view. In the morning the staff brings you the newspapers, in the afternoon you get tea and cookies and in the evening they make up your bed. Pure luxury! The location is perfect. Very quite and beautifully surrounded by nature. Also close to Mae Had and the pier. The beach is not so good for swimming but the shipwreck just in front of it is worth to see when snorkeling. There are always geckos arround and other nice animals, but we never saw a snake or a spider. The staff is very friendly and professional and the food is great. A perfect place for honeymooners. For us Sensi Paradise is the best place to go and we tried out quite a few in Thailand. There is only 2 little negative things, especially for women: It is too dark in the bathroom to put make up on. And there s no hot water. But apart from that: This resort is like paradise."
Li said, "Perfect!"
Mr said, "A very good standard. Close to the Mae Haad village and the ferry piers but not so close that it would be too noisy. Minuses: the breakfast wasn t included in the price and it was a bit meagre, and you could get only cold water in the shower. We would have to compliment the pleasant and helpful staff, and it was the little details, like the newspaper delivered in the morning, tea and biscuits brought to the verandah in the afternoon and welcome drinks, that made the stay extra pleasurable. The food at the resort s restaurant was very good albeit more expensive than in town. The beach was fairly small but snorkelling was surprisingly good: you could see corals, fish, sea cucumbers etc. The beach house with a fan where we decorated. As an added bonus were the visits from gekkos :)"
Ion said, "Excellent resort, worth the money, as long as you know what you pay for: nice garden and bungalows, lot of space, top service. You get the small island feeling, location is perfect, close enough to walk to bar, market and restaurants but far enough to feel secluded. Note though that at night the noise from the beach bars can not be ignored. Also, with the 24h electricity generator, you may get some noise, they should do better noise protection. Not 2 bungalow the same, make your choice on the map, according to price."
Jayne said, "This place is totally amazing! The rooms are very well designed, all really clean. We had a lovely balcony with very comfy white sofa on where we enjoyed a drink on an evening, they put flowers on your bed at night, very romantic and bathrooms are really clean and big with good shower! the water is cold. We got fresh fruit and tea every day on our balcony and rooms are cleaned twice a day.All the staff at Sensi are so lovely always smiling and can t do more than enough to make your holiday the best, restaurant food is amazin, the beach is very clean with very comfortable sunbeds. Was a fab holiday and would totally recommend this place! also White elephant in Siree has ace BBQ Prawns!"
Mikael said, "Without you knowing they stand at the pier in Koh Tao to pick you up for a free transfer when you arrive and then they give you a small welcomedrink while you fill out the forms in the reception. The hotel tries hard to be a luxory hotel and gets there halfway I d say. The restaurant makes very good food and is great But, the price is almost the tripple to the next door restaurant witch makes you think twice before ordering breakfast here...Otherwise they take good care of there guests and have very nice rooms. There are some really nice family bungalwos at a small private beach around 50m from the reception! They are wonderful.Overall this is a nice hotel at a short 5-10min walk to the city centre of KohTao. The beach ain t musch to cheer about but the snorkeling just outside the hotel is great, there is even a real shipwreck just 30m out from the beach."
Carsten said, "VERY sweet and 100% efficient staff.Nice bungalows with many nice details.Good location at the end of the beach in beautiful garden.Great food and fantastic setting....."
Natasha said, "Hotel is nothing like the pictures, the Hotel is next to the Pier, not what the pictures make you think. The beach is about a 20m stretch before boats are achored in you way and the constant sound of ferrys going by is well not my idea of a romantic holiday. The location is good if you want to be able to walk to restaurants, bars etc but what ever you do do not base your stay on the photos of the beach. The Room was great, no TV, but very clean, great bed, bathroom. the restuarant was ok, reasonably priced but HUGE BLOW FLIES EVERYWHERE!!!If I was to go back to Koh Tao I would reccomend the Koh Tao resort, amazing, beach!! fantastic atmosphere, great pool, and no Pier right next to where your staying. There are also Bars and Restaurants around, so much better than Sensi Paradise!"
Anna-Sofia said, "Fantastic staff! Very helpful and serviceminded. They where really wonderful to our children. Very nice house, we a large, nice veranda with beautiful seaview. Good location on the island, near both nice beaches and a short walk to Mea Haad. AND not to forget absolutely fantastic food. We vill defenately stay here next time. Thank you! Fia, Thomas, Elin and Filip Sjölin from Sweden."
M said, "A realy beautifull hotel, very friendly staff, excellent food. Had a wonderfull stay!"
Lulu said, "The location is easy to reach, only 5 minutes walk from the pier. The total environment within the resort is excellent, especially for snorkelling fans:) If your room is not equiped with air conditioner, please make sure to use mosquito net when sleeping."
Wanderman said, "Just amazing. Without doubt the best place to stay on Koh Tao. Lovely but not pretentious and only a few minutes stroll to the main port/shops/bars/restaurants. Good staff, good service. The views were great and the second we stepped into the resort we were relaxed. No hot water but that added to the feeling of remoteness (and it s hot enough anyway). GO HERE."
Francesca said, "Paradise!!!!!! Best hotel in Koh Tao.Best restorant in Koh Tao (all kinds of food, thai food excellent). Not the cheapest in Koh Tao, but where do you find the best for cheap? The price was very cheap for all we received. Room(see view fan) wonderful, romantic, silent ambient and clean (the animals ar part of the island life). Location of all the resort excellent. Hotel service very efficient and always with a smile on the face. The beach is small and very very nice, silent, clean and romantic. A massage room is availlable in the resort.Next time we will go to Koh Tao we will stay in Sensi Paradise for shure.Thank all for wonderful holliday."
Carla said, "Only one word, fantastic! Room are spacious, very clean and very nice in Thai style, great food at the beautiful restaurant, staff very friendly and helpful, it really looks like to be in paradise. I recommend Sensi Paradise to everybody for a special holiday. Thank you to the staff, I ll always remember you"
Chantal said, "We loved our stay at Sensi; beautiful stretched out gardens with a lot of nice details and places to stay; big wooden villa, huge veranda with comfortable chairs, sofa, outdoor-bed, fan. (All villa s are very different) Afternoon tea, mosquitonet service also with very warm-hearted details, etc. Beach was enough, lot to see and no nasty noise from the pier; nice snorkeling with a lot of beautiful fishes, coral is nothing special, but in fact this is the case in the most places around the islands (Koh Phangan and Koh Tao). Service could be more personal, but very helpful and kind. Expensive yes, but that is what you pay for space, quietness and care-taking."
Cecilia said, "Absolutly faboulus! Best stay I ever had. Sensi was like beeing in paradise. We had the Royal Villa A/C and it was better than we had expected. The Royal villa has its own beach with shower and a large terrace overlooking the sea. The outdoor bathrooms where fantastic. The staff was very quiet and serviceminded, the placed fresh fruts and afternoon tea on the terrace every day. The made your rooms ready for the night every afternoon, putting down the mosqito nets, turning on the lights and putting flowers on the beds. Words can not describe how fantastic Sensi is, you really have to see it for you self. A percect place for lovers, honeymooners or if you just want to be alone, away from everything. Lovely!"
Maria said, "The hotel was lovely. We paid for a Thai beach house which was right by the beach, very spacious and very clean, and also had quite a roomy indoor bathroom. My only criticism is that the room was very dark however it has alot of character. The room service was superb and they offered to clean our room twice a day however once was sufficient. The location is convenient, a short walk to the port and walking distance to Sairee beach (more nightlife and a nicer beach). The restaurant was excellent and good value for money. Also try out the Thai massage which was also very good. I would certainly recommend this place, all the staff were friendly and helpful."
Sabine said, "Mooi hotel, goede service en perfect gelegen."
Chen said, "Basic equipments, nice service, but a little tricky of the administrator. Be careful of the steps down to the bathroom ... Of my personal experience, the beach is not good for swimming, compared with SR beach."
Richard said, "Very nice place and nice service people there. Especially, the restuarant in the resort is quite good, considering the view and the food of course."
Eugen said, "Best place i ever polite, and the accomodation is just as good as the picture says. The rooms are clean, location perfect, free use of snorkling equipment, and the view from the restaurant is fantastic Although there is a couple of issues too mention. The breakfast is way to over-priced, but the rest of the kitchen is so far all good. No problem to take the 2 minute walk to another restaurant in the morning. Sensi is also participating in the non-plastic-bottle campaign, which is good in many ways. But is smells a little bit like saving/earning money, just like the notes asking for re-use the towels. If Sensi really wanted to save the environment around the island, they should re-consider a lot of things around the place. But BOTTOM-LINE: Really great resort, would definitely come back if I get the opportunity!!! We’ve spend some time cruising the island, seen a lot of resorts. None of them as good as Sensi. Compared to the price I don’t think you’ll find anything this good.Best recommendsKasper Andresen, Denmark"
Liselott said, "Lovely place, calm and relaxing. Very lovely staff, the where great with our children, who loved them! Good food and drink in the restaurant. Many nice relaxing areas. The beach is ok, but I would recommend to walk to Sairee beach, or take a taxi to one of the more secluded beaches. We had one of the cheaper bungalows on the hill, which was nice, but not so practical with small children, becase there where two sets of stairs in them. If you travell with children, maybe you should choose a more expensive bungalow type.Over all me and my family would really recommend Sensi Paradise."
Anna-Lena said, "We relax. Very good food at the restaurant and very friendly staff. A short walk to the village at night. The beach is very small and not so nice, but the snorkeling is good and my sons found the wreck interesting. Would like to go back again any time."
Jasmin said, "We loved the Sensi Paradise Beach Resort! The whole resort is so beautiful. We it was the nicest hut we had on our trip. But I am sure that the other bunglows (which are more expensive) are even much nicer. There was no hot water in the bathroom but I think there is not many places anywhere on the island (but I m not sure). We were at the back of the resort, close to the jungle. We always had a gecko with us, and that s probably why we didn t have any other funny animals. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. The best ever. There is such a nice atmosphere and we felt very comfortable. Also the food was outstanding! There is a nice little beach where you can swim and snorkel. We didn t use it because we didn t have much time. But the island is so small that you can take easily a transport to all the nice beaches. Mae Had beach and Sairee beach are also quite close. The pier didn t bother us at all. We will defintely come back and stay longer. If there is paradise it is there in Koh Tao."
Kim said, "Exquisite is a word that covers our experience with Sensi Paradise. We had 7 wonderful days here. We had an excellent bungalow with two bedrooms as ordered; located secluded up a few stairs. The staff did their utmost to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. The resort is located in the south end of the beach which ensures that it is quite and private. If you want to go to a better beach is it only a 20 minutes walk or a short ride in a long tail boat away. You can go on excellent snorkeling right from the beach. We would at any time recommend this resort."
Jeffrey said, "This is the place! Fabulous, beautiful, romantic and economical retreat from the rat-race. My girlfriend and I spent four nights at Sensi. It is very convenient to the village of Maehad with bungalows that are tastefully blended into the natural landscape. The fan bungalows are a great value and very comfortable. In fact, there is nothing I didn t like about this resort, including the ban on all plastic containers. The perfect beach is located just a few minutes away. Enjoy."
Louise said, "No 15 excellent bungalow right on the beach. Would have been mre cost effective if there had been four of us not two, however, double bed upstairs very cramped. Lovely hotel restaurant area and adequate beach. Beware no hot water like many places on Ko Tao."
Alan said, "Overall a lovely place, visually, but we wouldn t go back. We spent most of our time next door at Charm Charee Villas where our friends were staying. That is where we would heartily recommend and where we would go again. Unlike next door where there is a gorgeous swimming cove, there is no real beach at Sensei for swimming and chilling out. It is right next to the pier basically which is a lovely view, but is not a real swimming beach. But mainly it was about the feel of the place. There is no attention to detail here and no real warmth as there is next door. The staff is friendly enough but seemingly a bit unsure and unguided by owners who are never to be seen and have put nasty notes around to adhere to their green policies. We embrace these policies. It attracted us to this place..but to then overcharge for glass water bottles instead of plastic and tell us if we don t like it to take our business elsewhere is not cool. We really noticed the difference in resorts in that way. But the rooms are indeed gorgeous and the setting is beautiful. There is NO HOT WATER and you should just know that as it is not advertised. Overall, a nice enough place to stay but the warmth, caring and thought that went into the place next door and how we were welcomed (we went there instead for New Years which was awesome!) I would give Sensei a miss for somewhere more in tune with their guests. For the price Sensei is charging they need to get it together."
Sarah said, "Unfortunately our visit to Koh Tao was not very successful. We booked and paid for a very specific bungalow. When we arrived, we were shown to a different bungalow with no explanation of why. When we complained we were advised that the bungalow that we had been given was superior (it wasnt). In order to get a bungalow that was private and overlooking the water as requested, we had to book a different room at almost twice the rate. We were not offered any compensation or even a reasonable apology for all the problems. The beach was non existent and the water was filled with rubbish and dead fish. No attempt was made to clean any of the rubbish all over the beach in front of the resort for about 4 days. We cut our trip short as it was such a disappointment and they had the audacity to try to charge us for the full ten days. I would never recommend this resort to anyone."
Jason said, "Great Hotel. Excellent location and very laid back on the beach. I really recommend it."
Olli said, "This is one of the few resorts, where you will get what is shown in the pictures. The bungalows are extremely stylish - dark wood and real materials used throughout. Kinda pricey though. One thing to note is that the beach is really not too good for swimming, but you can find good beaches nearby - Jansom Bay and Sai Nuan to south and of course Sairee to north. I could imagine, that this would be a great place to come for a honeymoon, as the place has a quite romantic atmosphere."
Michelle said, "The Resort had recently been refurbished and we were the first in the Romantic suite. Still smelt new. The suite was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The resort covers a reasonable area and therefore the noise from neighbouring bars, etc wasn t too bad at all. The resort picked us up from the ferry and also drove us back to catch our ferry off Koh Tao which was great at no extra charge. The food in the resort, it has 1 restaurant, was reasonably priced. The only thing I will say is the resort is quite expensive and you will probably find somewhere cheaper but my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Sensi Paradise Resort."
