LING said, "in the night, there is no electronic sometimes, the resort is a bit small, just like a family house,if I have chance to go there,I will choose another one"
Austen said, "Had a great stay here, nice clean room with air con which is a must at this time of year! decent bathroom with hot shower, cable TV, very comfy double bed and additional single bed. The only down side I could find on the air con rooms is that the doors into the room are glass paneled wich means you need to keep curtains shut for privacy, this means no natural light in the room. I would definately return to Khun Ying on my next visit to Ko Tao"
Jane said, "The hotel was nice but I had a few problems while I was there. Bed bugs (they changed the sheets when I took them down but the bugs came back), the door didn t lock properly (took about 10 attempts and help from next door to finally find a way to lock it but time & brute force was needed, the toilet didn t flush properly (had to use the hose to flush paper down) and even though I mentioned it to reception they didn t do anythin and they turned my white clothes pink but when I asked them to attempt to re-wash them they did (reluctantly) and it worked. It was an OK location but you d be better off somewhere nearer the beach so (especially as a woman) you wouldn t have to do the walk home along the main road. The room was lovely and spaces though, and really light with a nice balcony and the staff were friendly."
Alexandra said, "The room was very big & clean. Good location. We would definatly stay there again & recommend that other people stay there too."
Schober said, "The room was really nice and very clean (room A2) and i definetly reccommend this place if you re not looking for a place to spend a lot of time in the room. It s very central and only a 2 min walk to the beach and i liked the beach there the most of all sairee beaches. and diving schools in maehaad mostly have shuttle services. For long term, however, you can get much cheaper rooms in same standard (but they did go down with the price since i got fresh towel everyday. The only thing we didn t appreciate is the hostess who doesn t seem to understand her job! No smile, seemed more interested to watch TV than answering customer s questions. We were asked to pay for the whole week upon arrival (plus 500 baths for the room key, that we had pb to get back at the end of our stay). One advice : keep your receit."
Tingles said, "Had a nice stay. Room was good, with good aircon, ant TV with loads of stations. Just on the edge of the village, so close to all the shops etc. A great little village to stay in. Beach is great at night with bars and restaurants right on the beach."
Christoffer said, "We loved our stay at Khun Ying House. Clean and very good value for the money. The only thing to keep in mind is that the reception is closed after around 8, so dont leave your room key in the key drop and then come back later (as we did). =)"
Yun said, "Cosy little place in excellent location.Pros:- Location - Sairee village is 1min walk where you can find shops, good food, massage, minimart, pharmacy so easily. Sairee beach is about 100metres down the front.- internet downstairs - the sign has a cost, but as guests we were never asked to pay.- booking service downstairs - easy to book whatever you want.- Cable TV, refrigerator, clothes rack, mirror, table, chairs in the room.- Besides double bed, some rooms have additional single bed, plus lots of floor space if extra guests.- Not in any guide book (eg. LP/Rough) so not infested with people.Cons- No pickup from pier (despite what internet page says)- Hot water sometimes not very hot (not really a problem for us there in summer)- the boat to/from Koh Samui/Chumporn is horrible. Lomprayah VIP is easily the most comfortable, but be prepared for sickness, vomitting, and drunk/high young male passengers from KPN.weiyunmak@hotmail.com happy to give any further details."
Karin said, "Good value for the money! The rooms were nice, clean and good size. The air-con was very efficient and the staff were friendly. The location was good, just a short walk from the beach and the small and cosy village. Ko Tao was wonderful and Sairee beach was a great place to stay in."
Rachael said, "It was in a good location and the rooms were a good size. Cable TV and a fridge (minibar was the same price as the 7/11 which was sweet). Oddly enough they gave us big towels instead of sheets to sleep under!! All in all, you get what you pay for, it was spot-on for the 550 bht nightly."
Justin said, "Good value for money and the rooms a decent size and close to the main port. Very helpful at arranging our trip back to Bangkok. Recommend going to El Toro restaurant and getting a Mausuman curry!"
Sonja said, "The room was fine and clean.Good for a short stay if you are diving during the day."
Liz said, "Nice hotel - very good value with big clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and its location 2 minutes walk from the gorgeous beach and 2 minutes walk from the main village was perfect."
Alice said, "Great guesthouse with excellent location, very close to beach. Rooms were very clean and staff very friendly. Will be back. Great vaule for money."
