If you want to relax, then this is the place to come. 10 lovely huts, we were in room 9, with a lovely view & the swimming pool a few steps away. The staff were so friendly & helpful, nothing was to much trouble. breakfast was nice, & so were all the other meals. If we return to koh phangan, we would stay at the salad hut again."

I visted them all but felt the Salad hut was the one with the friendliest staff, most family friendly. Also it has the best food along that beach. Our bungalow was huge and very very clean, tasteful interior. The best veranda I have ever had, Hammock, table & chairs and two of those triangle cushions and a raised area to chill out on. I would go back there in an instant. The sand on that beach was white & powdery, very rustic and still a squid fishing village. BEAUTIFUL X"

Diese kleine Resort ist ein wahres Paradies, alles sehr liebenswert angereiht, der Garten schön angelegt, und die Bungalows sehr geräumig mit einer grossen Terasse, einige Schritte zum Meer wie auch zum Pool. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Essen im Strandrestaurant das Beste am Haad Salad Beach. Ein Tip, man braucht nur Fan Bungalow zu buchen, bekommt aber dennoch ein A/C Bungalow, das alle Bungalows gleichtwertig ausgestattet sind."

Even though the hotel has been renovated since I was here 2 years ago it still retains its charm with friendly staff and the best food along the beach. The room was spacious and clean and it was really nice to have our own terrace with hammock and Thai mattresses. Unfortunately the beach isn t as nice as it used to be now that there are more people staying at this beach. Couldn t the sandbags be covered up? The resort is very good and we can recommend it to anyone who hasn t been here before."

Two daughters (16) both loved it but were ready for a bit more night life after 4 days."

The staff is the best, friendly, fun and they all love children, so travelling whit children to Salad Hut is very reccomendable. We also have to mention the waiter Mr O, he is unreplaceable and made us feel very welcome and he is very social and fun to talk to, and made our stay even more pleasant. Our five year old son loved it there, and he felt like home the first day. The bungalows have nice verandas whit hammocks and triangel-madrasses to relax on, inside the bungalows were clean and modern furnished, the pool is very clean and perfect for children to play and swim in. The beach is perfekt for collecting shells or snorkeling in. The food was nice and always fresh and tasty. Our ten days here made all stress from work and homeduties disappear. Thank you all at Salad Hut, and we will be back for sure next time we visit Thailand."

The perfect spot if you dont want to stay in the crazy nouise of Had Rin. Only 10 min to Thong Sala and 25 min to Had rin. Quite cheap too, dont get the aircon unless you really need it, the fan does the job. Will stay her again!"

Niclas stayed at Salad Hut on 2007-10-02 and said, "We stayed at Salad Hut in early October 2007 (two adults and two kids - 3 and 5 years old).Salad Hut is really a very pleasant resort with good value for the money. Nice rooms, clean pool, nice beach, excellent food and very nice and child friendly staff.The pool is a bit smaller than appears on the web site photos but since the hotel only has 12 rooms/bungalows there is still pleanty of space to swim around in.There are a few other resorts on the same beach,which offers alternative restaurants some convenience store etc, but by and large this is a very relaxed beach away from the crowds.Snorkeling is OK (at high tide) and there are several good dive shops which depart from nearby beaches and make transfers from/to the hotel.Overall, staying at Salad Hut was a very pleasant experience."

We wisjed we could have sayed for longer but alas it was fully booked. This is not surprising since the beach is gorgeous, our room was fantastic value and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a lovely vibe. We had the best time and would say this is quite possibly the best value place on the whole of the island (and we stayed in quite a few places!) If you are after chilled and laid back with a bit of luxury then this is the place for you!"

Vera stayed at Salad Hut on 2007-05-01 and said, "We stayed at the budget non-aircon standard bungalow (700 THB). It was definitely worth it s money! The staff is extremely friendly and the food was fantastic. There are 10 bungalows each with a big veranda with hamock and daybed - so get ready to be lazy all day. The room is very new and clean and nicely decorated. The bed is extremly comfortable. All rooms are equiped with hot water and aircon, whereas you do not receive the remote when you book non-aircon ;o)The hot water in the shower is a bit too hot, so be careful not to scald yourself. I got a very bad burn mark on my shoulder from the hot water regulater on the wall!!The beach is nice, however there are some fisher boats right in front of the huts. a bit further down you can go into the water without boats around. The water is a bit shallow so be careful as there are some corals with quite a number of sea urchins. Other than that it was very nice."

Lena stayed at Salad Hut on 2007-04-02 and said, "A wonderful resort on one of Koh Phangans most beautiful beaches. We stayed in a family bungalow with A/C and it was perfect for us (two adults and two children, 12 and 14 yrs) The new swimmingpool is really nice, especially when the tide is low, as it was when we were here. The food and the service are excellent, and we like Salad Hut because it s a small resort with only 10 bungalows. Just a few meters out from the beach there was lovely snorkling. We will definately come back!"

They have large verandas with relaxingbeds and hammocks just a few steps from the beach. The pool and garden area is also nice. The restaurant serves really good food and breakfast. This place is good value for the money. It´s also a good place for a family with children. We will reccomend it to everyone who wants to stay at Haad Salad beach."
