Camilla stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-03-24 and said, "We stayed in a Bungalow, and we will not do that again. The towel was dirty and the sheets where so old that it was hole in them. The bungalow hade so big hole that we had lizards in the bathroom. The location is however where good."
Jack stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-03-22 and said, "the rooms have seen better days before and what is called a family suite is just an additional bedroom. Rooms not very clean, need redecoration, not good value for money."
Birgitta stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-03-19 and said, "We liked the hotel - good service, nice bungalows (not so big, but OK), breakfast really good and our children liked the pool. The beach could be better because there are stones among the sand. But if you don t like to be another tourist or don´t like resorts or want low standard/cheap hotel: choose another place!"
christin stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-03-02 and said, "Nice hotell with good AC, big green area for children to play, close to the sea, friendly, helpsam and serviceminded staaf, very good breakfast, much to choose, lot of fruit and greengrocers"
Per stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-02-22 and said, "They tried to put us in a non-balcony room, although the room pictures had a balcony. Also the hotel is old and the rooms not that nice. But its cheap, clean and the staff is friendly. And if you come to relax and eat seafood it a great area to stay at."
Sonja stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-02-17 and said, "The hotel has a great location and a nice beach. A very nice pool area to. We stayed in a deluxe suite and it was ok. We were three families travelling together. Two of them had booked bungalows. They were a DISASTER. They changed to hotel rooms at once and had to pay the double of what it would have cost them if they had booked the rooms through Sawadee from the beginning. We do not recommend the bungalows at all, but the hotel rooms are good. The only negative is that you can hear your neighbours to much. The staff could use some english lessons. the cleaning staff were very good."
Sebera stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-02-02 and said, "Hello together! The Chang Park Resort at Koh Chang was very ugly and it was a unpleasant stay there! We are often travel in Thailand but this hotel has only a nice location. So we comment follows:-The staff was not friendly and not take care customer!-Pool electic was damage and looks danger!-The Breafast was not delicious!-The dishes and cutlery was mostly not clean!-The American House was old and the furnishing mostly damage!-The cleaning service has no room key for cleaning! For us the hotel must have a renovate and the staff must have a trainee!!!Best regards, Thorsten & Ladda!"
ivan stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-01-29 and said, "we have been in a bungalow.fair price with buffet breakfast included as well as the access to the hotel facilities (e.g. towels on the beach and pool).i can recommend this also the staff is very helpfull"
Jacobsson´s stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2008-01-12 and said, "Great hotel and friendly staff. Allwas to our satisfaction. Even if the bungalows were very simple and if the neighbours were home you could hear everything they were doing. Ours snored all night long... :)Had friends that, during our stay, stayed in White Sands and dod come to swim and sunbathe due to the bad beach in WS. But one thing I can say, and my family agrees, is; When we come back to Koh Chang we will book Chang Park Resort (or the new planned hotel...)"
Estrella stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2007-01-21 and said, "We had a great time at the resort and in the islan as well. The resort was very clean and with very friendly staff. We stayed in a Thai Style bungalow and it was perfect! Beautiful view from the porch and extremely peaceful, great for relaxation :)"
Graham stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2006-04-09 and said, "Overall very good accomadation, found restaurant good and enjoyed stay very much . Thank you"
M.Verheijke stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2006-02-14 and said, "Something is very wrong with this hotel. Where shall I begin: my son and I got green hair( we have blond hair)from the swimmingpool. There are 2 types of standard bungalows;old and newer ones. It is a shame that they dare to rent the old bungalows. They are expensive for what they are, dirty, no bed but a matrass on the ground!!!dangerous electricity and a lot of things are broken and holes in the door.Towels dirty and with holes in them. And then the smell of the bed!smells like forgotten wet laundry YEK!We moved after one night to a hotelroom from the resort because we paid in advantace so we had to stay. Not a very big succes eather but it was a lot better. No, I would not stay here.Check out the neighbours!"
Peer stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-11-13 and said, "Restaurant, swimmingpool area, massage spa and the surrondings very nice, but the beach was not nearly as good as the beach outsite Panwiman Resort that we visited last year, but of course there is also a price difference. The toilets in the hotel rooms was totally disgusting and if they are not renovated, I think the health authorities will close the hotel down. I think if the hotel was renovated, this resort would be value for money - but right now I would not recommend it because of the toilet/bathroom situation the staff also had a little difficult in charging the right amount for the actual buy."
Anne stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-10-31 and said, "Beautiful garden, poolsde and beach. Good service and nice staff. Room OK, bout the hardest bed i ever lied in....."
Ms.Lilly stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-04-29 and said, "I stayed in Superior Seaview Hotel Room for 3 nights. Staff are friendly and helpful but only few of them could speak fluent English. The room was clean and I could see very nice sunset every evening in the balcony. Although great seaveiw could be found from the swimming pool, I felt uncomfortable when swam in the pool. It was because the pool was without filter facilities and water was not so clean that insects could be found easily in the pool. The beach was rocky, too. I tried oil massage which was found fair. In all, Chang Park Resort was fair.During the holiday, I was kayaking to the resort located in the nearby beach (Klong Prao Beach) and had lunch in Koh Chang Tropicana Resort & Spa. The environment and facilities of this resort was excellent. You may consider booking this resort if it was in your budget."
Emma stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-04-01 and said, "The resort was beautifully laid out, staff were friendly and it offered a few activities on the island. Overall a great place to stay, and very good value for money"
Stephanie stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-03-24 and said, "the seaview bedroom and the breakfast were fine as we expected. And the hotel is beautiful. But the beach restaurant prouved to be unefficient (they forgot my plate although I ask for it twice !) and very expensive for the menu proposed."
Vibeke stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-02-16 and said, "We stayed here 11 days in a family-suite at the hotel. From what we heard from around the poolarea, the hotel is absolutely the best choice as many guests were not happy with their bungalows. The room was a little unfinished with some decor-details missing here and there. Otherwise spaceious and nice rooms with 2 bathrooms, tv s and clean bathrobes for everybody everyday. The lawn between the pool and the hotel nice and convenient as the children could play and walk barefoot all day. Nice and big swimming pool right next to the beach - perfect. The hotel should invest in more sunbeds and also mattresses as the wood feels hard after a while. The beach was nice and cleaned every day, but the bottom in the sea could have been cleaned for rocks and corals. The beach-restaurant had good but fairly expensive food. The waiters were friendly but a bit untrained and did not understand much english. That caused some misunderstandings a couple of times. Friendly and helpful people at the front-desk. The hotel should have their own hotelcar to pick up guests at the ferryterminal. All in all, from what we saw one of the better places in Koh Chang and good value for the money."
Mr.Conny stayed at Chang Park Resort on 2005-01-02 and said, "It was ok.. The beach wasn´t that nice but we took taxi to white sand beach and took some trips to other small islands nearby! The water in our shower couldn´t hold the temperature.. It was cold and the next second burning hot.. But the rooms looked new and clean!"
