Thomas stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2008-03-06 and said, "We have been in Thailand twice, people are very kindly and nice to children. But at this hotel (Koh Chang Resort & Spa) the staff cant speek english, even a bigger problem is that they dont want to understand. This place is not representive for Thailand, the bed and room are dirty, lot of bed bugs, dont look under the bed. The toilet is under all critic, stop in toilet and shower. Twice the aircondition stop working. For example, the guest before us leave a chewinggum on the table, the staff did not take this away for two weeks, and if you eat something in the room you have to go back to the restaurang with the dishes, if not dirty dishes stays in your room.Tourist from example Europe are not in prioritet compare to chines people who comes avery weekend ( a lot of chines and they reserve the hole restaurang), in the morning you have to go up latest around 08.00 if you want to have a chance to eat some breakfast, - dont go up, the breakfast is not good, you better sleep. Watch out for Russian people, they eat everything in the morning and take your sunbed at the beach even if you booked a bed, they dont care and the staff in the hotel doesnt understand what you trying to explain. If you want a sunbed, you have to reserve around 07.00.About the breakfast, we had to pay 125baht for our kid 8 years old just to eat a cold panncake, he dont drink juice or anything else becourse there is nothing left at the table. The only good thing with the hotel is when you leave it!!!!!!One thing that is good is the beach, that is really good and other hotels in this area is nice, at least nice and understand english. A tip, if you dont care living dirty and pay a lot of money for the room, you can eat cheap at paradise hotel, they are frindy and nice to children. One thing is ectremly clear, we dont coming back to this hotel even if they pay us money!Fam Bengtsson, Sweden."
Magnus stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2008-02-16 and said, "This place has a very good location close to the best part of the Klong Phrao Beach. It´s not five stars but good value. Helpful and friendly staff. The big draw back was breakfast. I can really recommend the small restaurant next to the hotel on the beach. The smallest pool is just o.k The bigger one is on the other side of the main road!? But the kids enjoyed the pool so I guess thats o.k then. I could defenetly consider to return to this resort. altough we had a leaking Air cond. and the light bulbs where so weak that it got impossible to read in bed."
Jerry stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2008-02-15 and said, "This was our 2nd visit and we were VERY disappointed on this visit. Upon arrival - no safe boxes. Air conditioning did not work in our room. Our room was on the road so it was loud. Asked to move and we were told it would cost more $$. When we asked to speak to a manager they decided to move us the next day. There was no hot water. All beach chairs reserved by 8 AM. No beach towels until after 10 AM. A lot of construction next door so be aware this is not a relaxing beach. While the front desk was helpful it just wasn t a great visit. Will not stay again at this hotel. Sad."
Marie stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2008-02-14 and said, "Some of the bungalows is old and not so nice. We change to more expensive one at it was really nice. The system for get a sunbed is creazy. It´s to few of the sunbeds and you never now if you will got on."

Mr stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2007-04-03 and said, "On the whole this is a nice resort & has a lovely beach, but there is a price you could potentially pay for this. The hotel employ s cambodian immogrants, along with all the other hotels i must stress,so there are alot of thieves about. My wife and I had a lovely room in the deluxe building, but that did not stop them sneeking into are room while we we re sleeping and stealing are valuables. The hotel did not seem to care in the slightest and I received no appology, infact I did not see the manager for the rest of our stay, the police did not believe me until they realised other couples had also been robbed. If you re going to visit this beautiful island be on you re guard at all times and keep you re valuables safe."

Wenger stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2007-01-26 and said, "Compared to the price the resort was a good value for money. However, the breakfast is nothing special at all. In particular most of the meals were cold or became cold very quickly! The room was clean and nothing to complain about."
Martin stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2006-12-19 and said, "Excellent location and high level of service on the resort.Bad points for limited and poor breakfast menu and music played.Overall very satsfied and would recommend for future"
M stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2006-11-11 and said, "Koh chang resort and spa is on ChaiChet beach.Room was a bungalow 50 m from the beach. Room was nice and original. AC quiet and effective. The beach here is really nice. On par with the best on Koh Chang. A bit less crowded then White sands and a beeter feel to it. Arrangements made with the hotel ,transfer etc worked without hitch and had solid professional feel. Breakfast was mediokre and a bit erratic from day to day. House-keeping a bit sloppy one day. left our room unlocked after cleaning with door not even closed. probably not common.Would recommend this hotel though for say 4 nights optimum for the restless soul. The location is superb if you want a quiet beach not too far from restaurant etc,Best supermarket on koh chang 300 m walk from hotel."
Giovanni stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2006-02-13 and said, "Beautiful hotel directly on the beach, I have reserved a deluxe building , beautiful, large room, cleaned up,there was also iacuzzi, neighbor to the swimming pool, the beach and the restaurant. The beach it is much beautiful and calm one, bat not adapted for snorkeling that he can be made in near smoll islands.Personal he is kind and friendly and he has resolved every my demand, council to make the excursions at the 4 islands and at the Klong Plu waterfall.A hotel that council lively."
Mr.Jaap stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2005-11-04 and said, "Overall are good services , bungalow is near by the beach , nice and friendly personel , only they cannot communicate english well enough !! For the hotel room , it would be nice if they would provide mosquito-net for the door to prevent mosquitoes fly into the room !! Food is simple. We liike to come back to Koh Chang in the future if nature is still there ..!!! Additional about transportation booking , we had been tried to enquiry from the front desk to get much more information of how we can get the VIP bus booking back to BKK , we asked for BUS tour agents where we could call and book for the bus . It was silly that hotel did not have any number of bus terminal - agent that we can contact ..It is hard to believe that they do not have such important numbers in their hands ..How s about Trad( Koh Chang ) people do when they want to go to BKK , How can they book the bus by Koh Chang to get bus at main land ..From this reason , made us decided to look for to book VIP Bus from any tour services in Koh Chang and we booked through Kiattiphol tour where there is a counter office near by the hotel , and they said the price we booked is included VIP bus fare, song taew bus from Koh chang to Ferry pier and Ferry fare !!! But the things we got and surprised us ..we got wooden boat !!! , normal air con bus NOT a VIP bus what they mentioned on ticket ..!!! we felt we were cheated !!!"
John stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2005-10-06 and said, "We just returned from our vacation in the Belle Villa, it truly is a beautiful place, just the place to go if you want to get away without being to far from the action. The staff at Belle Villa were very friendly, good choice of food, elephant riding is a lot of fun and the spar is relaxing. Go if you get the chance"
Ole stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2005-02-20 and said, "Very beautiful surroundings, we enjoyed the village-atmosphere, made the resort very cozy. The staf was very friendly, the women working in the spa area very professionel. The only thing that was quite annoying was the reception. Many times the personel there could not speak English very well, could not understand you. I know that there also have to be trainees there at times, but at times there were 2 together and nobody else to speak to. The trainees spoke very poor English. We actually wanted to prolong our stay, but they did not understand that, so we gave up and went somewhere else the next days. Anyway we will recommend this beautiful place anytime."
Anonymous stayed at Koh Chang Resort & Spa on 2005-02-12 and said, "We stayed in one of the rooms in the hotel. Out of the 4 nights we were there, we didn t have water for 2 of them. The pool was open only one of days during our visit. Our room was clean but the front desk reception wasn t very helpful. I was not overly impressed."
