Then later in the stay the phone would not ring to announce incoming all...told reception...they did nothing. As per directions: tries to get an international call to Australia from my room.... 001 61 2 9527 91xx..recored message this service has been temporaly susopended Grrrr.Checkout they tried to charge me for the room: then trlented when I said Sawadee Travel already pay Showers are great: hot with a good pressure. Overall a good place to stay."
Lou stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2007-04-12 and said, "The hotel is staffed by very friendy people who are always there to help to make the stay a very pleasant one. The room rate is very reasonable but I would like to pay a little more to have the room furniture updated. The nightclubs on the backside are always very loud until 2-3 in the morning---and the maid service talking and receiving phone calls in the hall starting at 7:00 makes it difficult to sleep late after going to the nightclubs the night before. The kind staff goes a long way to overcoming the downside to staying here. With competition down the block, it is now time to upgrade."
CONTE stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2007-03-26 and said, "Room needs refection but all was ok."
Laurence stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2006-11-16 and said, "A fairly standard provincial city hotel made more delightful by their charming and helpful staff in all departments. A short samlor ride from the railway station and handy for the town. Their is a pleasant lake nearby for evening walks"
Prof.Hans stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2006-07-30 and said, "Know the hotel since years. Fine stay allways."
Mr stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2006-05-14 and said, "Was probably the best hotel in Surin but is now becoming shabby and dated.Staff are friendly and efficient, apart from the downstairs restaurant at breakfast( dirty tableclothes and no service whatsoever even though there are several staff members standing around doing nothing). For some unknown reason they insist on cooking large batches of fried eggs and then sit watching whilst they go cold. Can t complain about the tarrif at 900 baht per night however the hotel could do with some improvement."
Colin stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2006-03-11 and said, "Good, a real hotel. Used to stay at Petchaksim (spelling?).Rooms good, nice service. breakfast leaves a bit to be desired with cold fried eggs...and the toaster for bread takes forever to get a result. Staff excellent, no argument...very professional. Pool, has no shade. Forget the night club as this is just a series of ya ya girls on stage singing broken heart songs...Rose massge is a typical fishbowl with prices for Baht 1000 to baht 1800 depending on the age I think.Hotel limo from the Buri Rum airport to the Tang Tarin (baht 1200) was terrifying! as the driver kept nodding off! Yieks!Yes, I would stay the again...overall a good place to stay."
Brian stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2005-12-12 and said, "hotel was good value for the money location not the best place"
Chris stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2005-08-29 and said, "ok hotel for the budget price, but no elevator no pool and the food was very poor some of the staff were rude and impatient"
Mr.Gerhard stayed at Thong Tarin Hotel on 2004-11-06 and said, "the rooms are very clean and in a good condition, the staff at the reception is very friendly, the english communication is sometimes difficult, the restaurant (especially the tables at breakfast) is not clean, the staff is unfriendly (especially the cook for the eggs), the fried eggs are cold.If the management wants more foreign visiters they must improve the restaurant."
