Mr stayed at Roi-Et City Hotel on 2008-06-30 and said, "hotel price reasonable, located approx 2km from bus station and about 12km from airport. the junior suite decor was a bit tired looking and could seriously do with decorating, also there was an odd musty smell in the room ! the aircon is very noisy more noticable at night. the lavish bathroom offered corner bath and separate shower, and a solid marble surround sink. the reception staff speak a little english, were polite & friendly. most of the restaurant staff do not speak english, this caused problems when they cancelled the breakfast buffet due to very few guests at hotel. the inclusive breakfast choice seemed limited with poor quality of food, however, the menu for lunch/ dinner was very good and the food tasted very nice - both thai and western food ! again the prices were reasonable. they have internet at just 50 baht per hour (extremely good value). this hotel doesnt have a pool or spa facility, but can arrange a genuine thai massage at a incredibly good price of just 400 baht for 2 hours."
B stayed at Roi-Et City Hotel on 2008-02-29 and said, "A very nice hotel, clean, and quiet. Room was large and comfortable with a couple English speaking channels on the TV and have no complaints other than the water is not always hot, sometimes it would only get warm."

William stayed at Roi-Et City Hotel on 2005-05-09 and said, "Very nice hotel with courteous staff. The junior suite room was clean and nice even though this is an older hotel. Sometimes a little difficult to find someone who could clearly understand English, however it would be advantageous if my Thai was better. The breakfast at the restaurant was fine; I never ate any other meals at the hotel. Will definitely stay at this hotel in the future! Great value for the price."

Darrall stayed at Roi-Et City Hotel on 2004-03-31 and said, "Reputedly the best hotel in Roi Et its rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable if a little faded. Bring eye shades if daylight wakes you as curtains are paper thin! Hotel was almost empty when we visited but then few farangs come this way. Only lobby, restaurant and rooms are air-conditioned. Our internet booking was very good value."
Neil stayed at Roi-Et City Hotel on 2004-03-13 and said, "We were travelling with an 8 month old baby and the staff were very freidnly and helpful to us giving us extra towels and water as needed. The rooms are clean and well laid out... One negative comment though, bring mosquito spray or similar as I got bitten quite badly in my sleep. The mosquitos in Roi-Et like fanalngs!!!"
