Paivi stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2008-05-23 and said, "nice hotel, good value for the price. Rooms and common areas clean, pool ok, breakfast ok. Perfect location! One thing that might bother someone: pretty much western men bringing thai girls to the hotel. I Would go again:) Strongly recommend to everyone."

Pete stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2008-04-02 and said, "A pretty good value for money hotel. Rooms are spacious, small but adequate balcony. Buffet breakfast is good except the coffee which is terrible.Housekeeping in the rooms is poor. We arrived and there were no towels, no loo roll and a ripped bedsheet. The daily cleaning was poor."
Katherine stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2008-03-21 and said, "Very nice hotel. Quiet side street, yet close to all the tourist action. Extremely helpful staff - we showed up to book room in person and when they showed us the rate (higher than on internet), they let us know it was cheaper if we booked on-line, they then gave us access to the computer for guests to book on-line on the spot and get the cheaper rate! Good breakfast. Only problem was no heat in shower on two mornings."
Katherine stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2008-03-21 and said, "We enjoyed our stay at Thipurai City Hotel very much. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The location is great close to the beach and the night markets but on a quiet side street so not too noisy."
Knut stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2008-03-16 and said, "Thipurai City hotel is well located in Hua Hin in the middle of the city and not to far from the beach. First we had booked room in low floor. I was very surprised that the wiew from the balcony was a grey concrete wall very near the balcony. I would never booked this room if I knew this. Ok, easy to change the room to 4.floor, but then the price was lifted to 2.550 bht (from 1.950). We accepted, but after a week we understand that we had paid too much - compared with other hotels. The break-fast ok but with no ac. Staff friendly. Ok hotel but to expensive."

We had a premium-deluxe room an it was pleasantly sized, i don´t know anything about rooms in other cathegories. Breakfast is not unforgetable great but okay and not just as bad as other comments could make you believe. Have had a pleasant stay and would come back again."
Vivi stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2007-11-26 and said, "Highly recommendable! The hotel has great location in the middle of the city centre, yet very quiet at night. 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants & shopping just outside the door. The room was clean and spacious and everything worked satisfactorily. Breakfast OK. Small pool on 5th floor with sun beds and in addition sun beds on the roof. Staff was very friendly and the ladies at the front desk were extremely service minded and always smiling and helpful to any of our approaches. English speaking (not all of them). We can indeed recommend this hotel - good value for the price you pay. We really enjoyed 10 days at Thipurai!"
Ann stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2007-11-12 and said, "OK, middle-class. Very nice staff. Only disappointment was the breakfast buffe which was of bad quality."

Englishman stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-08-11 and said, "A most excellent location right in the middle of the livliest area of Hua Hin. That is the only thing going for this hotel. It is cheap and tatty, I had the largest room in the hotel a Junior Suite, how it can be called a Junior Suite when it is 18 feet by 16 feet (5.75m x 4.90m) is beyond me! The decor is tatty, coffee cup marks on all the furniture. No kettle for coffee making. The shower is very poor...jump about if you want to get wet. Good TV reception and a wide choice of programmes. Reception staff unhelpful, I asked for info on train times and was told to go to the station. Breakfast staff inattentive, choice of food awful, always having to ask for food to be topped up. The pool is still out of action as pointed out some months ago by someone else in their comments. It looks like used dishwater. One of the worst hotels we have stayed at on our several visits to Thailand. It says on their website the views are bettr in the Junior suites... our view overlooked a rubbish tip and a new hotel being built 40m away! There are far better rooms available in equal locations for about 900bt per night.Good places to eat: Jasmines, Maha Raja, El Murphys is excellent (ask for Peter). Bad places.. Buffalo Bills (forget Lonely Planet recommendation) it is dreadful and three times the price of anywhere else. eg 500bt for a 5oz steak, incinerated and mostly fat...forget this one."
Erno stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-08-03 and said, "Hotel is clean, small and friendly and its location is great. At the price of 1250 baht/double room per night I can recommend this hotel to everyone."
Klaus stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-07-22 and said, "I cannot recommend this hotel, as I have detected while packing my suitcase, that a very expensive tie is stolen out of my suitcase. I have told this at the reception, but they were not interested in my issue."
Lynn stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-06-12 and said, "Had a Deluxe Twin room which was very quiet and clean. Location excellent. Breakfast OK but not usually hot - but there are numerous places nearby to get a good cheap breakfast if you want to. Staff very nice."
Lili stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-06-12 and said, "Perfect location. Very nice and clean rooms. The breakfast was also OK. If we go back to Hua Hin we will stay there again."
Janice stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-05-27 and said, "Great location. Rooms are a bit small, but very clean. Good value for the money. Breakfast buffet is very unappetizing though, with many ants crawling on the fruits, etc."
Stephen stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-05-08 and said, "This hotel is in a good location for everything you want to do,the rooms are on the small side and the views from them are not very good, but this is more than made up for by the excellent service and friendly staff. Breakfast is very good which they serve till 10.30 would stay again."
Mr stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-03-01 and said, "We stay here 4 nights. The hotel is nice but build on the wrong place on the end of soi 4. Our room was on the end of the building with next door construction work starting 7:30 in the morning. The hotel has no elevator and the floors in the room and bathroom are not easy to walk on. The bathtube is a large betontube with a shower who nearly does not give water. We did not use the swimmingpool, it s more for children to play in. Distance to the beach is only 5 minutes but for this price you can book much better rooms in Jomtien or Pattaya! Would not book this place again."
Winfreda stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2006-02-16 and said, "Very clean and bright room. Tastefully decorated. Excellent television reception. We speak English. In the morning the French station had the news w/English subtitles and the German station was half English half German. The personnel at the hotel were helpful and gracious. We enjoyed the accessibilty of the beautiful beach and the daily supply of towels for the beach."
Salla stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-12-30 and said, "Very nice hotel, best location you can get in Hua Hin.We stayed at the junior suite and we wery pleased! Room was very clean and good size for 2 people. Only minus was the new years gala dinner, which we had to buy (2000 baht per person)after we reserved the room and allready paid for it! The food was okay, but it ended before everyone could eat... The price did n include drinks, not even water!!! Very, very expensive dinner , we were wery dissapointed!! Breakfast was good and after all we enjoyed our stay."
Theresa stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-12-26 and said, "The hotel was very centrally located to the beach and the town with all its shops and bars etc but still managed to not be too noisy which was good. The rooms were a bit on the small side but nevertheless good value for money and very clean. The breakfast was OK although sometimes it was very crowded and not always possible to get a table. The only complaint we would really make to do with the hotel is in regard to the compulsory New Year s Gala Dinner. It was 2,000 bhts per person which we think was a bit expensive for Thailand and by the time we got our food (buffet)it was only luke warm. The wine which was not included in this price was also over-priced. The group singing as part of the entertainment were out of tune a lot of the time. I think we could have got a much nicer and cheaper meal outside the hotel.Hua Hin s main beach is nowhere near as nice as those in Koh Samui and the horses which give people rides up and down the beach were sometimes going to the toilet in the sea which didn t really lend itself to going swimming! The town itself has been spoiled by a vast amount of girly bars where you see sad old men getting chatted up by the many Thai girls employed by these bars. Luckily we managed to find a few bars that were more normal !All in all we had a good time in Hua Hin but wouldn t rush back there!"
Peter stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-12-26 and said, "Best about this place is it s newness and location, Rooms very small and overpriced at new year. Excellent TV coverage, average breakfast and staff. Got there at 3pm but could not get into room until 4 as not ready, there are better and cheaper places but it s OK"
Timothy stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-12-24 and said, "Very modern and above all very clean rooms. One of the few times in Thailand where the hotel room photos match the reality - well done! Staff and service were excellent, hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the beach and is centrally located to all the restaurants and shopping. Pool is clean and is on the roof for good sun, clean air and great views. Breakfast gets a bit boring after a few days, so its worth dining out at one of the nearby cafes for an extra £3 per day/family."
Philippe stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-12-18 and said, "Good hotel for the value. The staff is nice, the rooms fine. The restaurant is not a great one, so I suggest you dont waste time at their restaurant, since there is so many place around in Hua Hin"
Glenn stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-11-12 and said, "Nice and clean rooms. The hotel is perfect positioned as it is in the middle of everything. The breakfast buffet sucks. Try to get the room without the buffet and eat your breakfast 20m down the street."
Sock stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-11-05 and said, "Is a nice hotel, very clean and cosy. Located in the heart of the city, it is very accessible to the town and to the beach. The staff is very polite and friendly and the american breakfast is not bad. Highly recommended for those on budget."
Steve stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-10-29 and said, "Ideal location right in the centre of Hua Hin and a couple of minutes walk from many restaurants and bars.Rooms are clean with tiled floors, and tea and coffee making facilities.Reception staff helpful and friendly.Nice crispy bacon at breakfast too!"
Shunichi stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-10-10 and said, "It was very nice price and place to stay. We stay at the duluxe room for 2 nights. The room were little small but comfortable, the double bed here were great, the view from our room were nice and we actually had a nice sea view from our balcony (didn t expect any at first, since the hotel was in the city side). Perfect location....short walk to the beach, night market and shopping area. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only problem was breakfast. Well, you can skip the free breakfast at the hotel and go eat somewhere near by (many, many nice place to choose from). Over all....we enjoy our stay!!"
Tina stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-09-19 and said, "good centrally located, close to beach--100 mtrs. smiling staff, neat rooms, room cleaned every day. new towels, linen etc. walking distance to all places..all best eating places within 100 meters."
Robert stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-08-07 and said, "Great hotel, excellent value, central but quiet"
Susan stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-06-22 and said, "This hotel was ideally located, with the beach, bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was kept very clean and tidy. The rooms were nice with good views from the balcony. The pool is small but was never too busy. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to you."
Barry stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-06-12 and said, "This hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly. The rooms were a bit on the small side -but adequate. linen and towel change daily. Comfortable bed and good strong shower. Good central position for shops and beach. Breakfast good."
Harry stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-05-07 and said, "The location is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style and freshly fried eggs are available if you ask the right staff. If you are on business use the room telephone sparingly - calls (even domestic) will cost you an arm and a leg and you don t know till you get your bill; info on charges is not provided in the room. All round, excellent value for money other than the phone which you don t have to use."
L.A. stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-03-06 and said, "Good Hotel but overprices for the minisuite room. This room space is just as a normal hotel room and nothing to do with a minisuite. Other rooms seems very small. Location to beach, shopping and hopping is a the heart of town. If you want not the noise of the town then better go elswere. If you like everything in walking distance is this hotel a goot choise. Breackfast and service okay."
Malin stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-02-17 and said, "very good staff in the lobby and our cleaninglady was so kind and did a great job. the location was perfect, near beach and shops/ markets."
OEVREBOE stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-02-16 and said, "This was a lovely hotel. Excellent service, and in the middle of everything. The only thing we missed was cheese at the breakfast buffet. Quiet place with a few minutes walk to the beach if you don t want to use the pool at the hotel. You could get towels in the reception every morning for your trip to the beach. We had a splended time at the hotel"
Charlotte stayed at Thipurai City Hotel on 2005-02-07 and said, "The hotel was fresh and nice to a good price. The personell was friendly and the hotel was very good located. Next time I will go to Hua Hin I will book the same hotel."
