Takiab Beach Resort Hotels

Santtu stayed at Takiab Beach Resort on 2008-04-01 and said, "The hotel was in good, but very quiet location at the Takiab Beach. Nothing to complain about that, but.. The staff was very unfriendly, not everyone, of course, but major part of it. You didn t feel yourself welcome to the hotel at all. That s the one reason why we changed hotel. Overally, the hotel was average two star hotel."

D stayed at Takiab Beach Resort on 2008-03-14 and said, "Takiab Beach resort has everything that you need and at a good price for this area. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, nothing fancy, no special decorations, but a good room. Beach is a short walk down the soi. very close to Bluewave hotel. Motorbike hire on site. You need transport if you want to look around Hua Hin as it is far from the main road. Breakfast is good if you like to eat eggs for breakfast (I Do), otherwise it is a bit basic. I was happy with my stay at this hotel, although i might be tempted to try another place with a bit more atmosphere or charm next time."

Matthew stayed at Takiab Beach Resort on 2008-01-05 and said, "Great hotel. Only a two minute walk to a nice beach where you can have drinks served to you very cheaply. The hotel room service is nice, breakfast was good and you are only a 10 min taxi ride to the centre of Hua Hin and the staff were more than happy to look after us. I loved it."

Kevin stayed at Takiab Beach Resort on 2007-04-28 and said, "The takiab resort was ok for the money. The staff were nice but not overly friendly. the rooms were very simple but its location to the beach made it a nice choice. we had one major problem with the room (206) and that was a leaky air conditioner. the solution to the problem? they shoved a normal ball point pen into the ceiling to drain the water and then go about your business. unfortunately, this did not stop the leaking. since we were leaving the next day, we didn t feel like fooling with it. you should also know that it is not as close to huahin as it is made out to be. it is about 8 or 9 miles. cab fair is 150 baht. the taxis are ruthless and will not waver on the price. we had a problem with this considering that a non stop air conditioned bus from bangkok to hua hin is 160 baht. also, if you wanting to take buses to particular areas such as the national park, research before. all the staff at the hotel have uncles or cousins with taxis and they will say that you cannot get anywhere with out them."

T.Juliussen stayed at Takiab Beach Resort on 2007-01-23 and said, "A very nice hotel, room perfect except no safe in room. The staff always nice and smiling and helpful. Close to the beach. A bit outside Hua Hin, but always taxis outside. The only irritation was those damned roosters in the backyard, waking us up too early in the morning."

The resort are close to the beach and it´s easy to get a taxi to Hua Hin. We really like Takiab beach resort for short or long stay and theirs staff are very nice and pleasant."

Khao Takiab is south of main nightlife of Hua Hin but VERY enjoyable and away from hustle and bustle of Hua Hin (just a short taxi ride away if you want to).I would highly recommend Takiab Beach Resort to anybody and will be returning next year."

Breakfasts are very good too. It doesn t have much facilities but if you re a budget traveler, it s worth every penny. They also have bike rentals which are pretty cheap for you to go around town."

Mr.Roy stayed at Takiab Beach Resort on 2004-10-08 and said, "the room was bright and always clean and a good size,but one gripe was that the fridge always turned off when we left the room with the keys,the staff always nice and smiling and helpful but not many could speak english very well if at all,"
