PAUL stayed at Hua Hin Grand Hotel on 2008-06-25 and said, "THIS HOTEL IS TERRIBLE.NO HOT WATER IN AFTERNOON.THEY TURN IT OFF MID-DAY.STAYED IN CORNER ROOM ABOVE OUTDOOR KARAOKE MUSIC FROM EVENING TO 2AM.LUCKY I BROUGHT EAR PLUGS WHICH HELPED.LITTLE CHOICE ON BREAKFAST FOOD.WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND.AVOID THIS HOTEL."

Robert stayed at Hua Hin Grand Hotel on 2008-05-04 and said, "Hotel looks great from the outside but is dated, straight out of the sixties and urgently needs renovation. Staff friendly but very limited English. Breakfast was stone cold on 5 out of 5 days although coffee shop has nice Thai food. If you want to shop, dine out, or nightclub, stay elsewhere as tourist spots are a good (sweaty) 10 mins walk away. Not recommended."

There are various outlets for meals and numerous watering holes.If you fancy local shopping and food then go to the night market excellent value for all types of quisine. The Hua Hin Grand fine hotel the staff are very friendly and polite. Breakfast is more than enough to start the day on. The pool attendant Probert one of the most polite and helpful young man you would wish to meet. My only critism is that the decor was a little dated, but apart from that room were spotless and sheets changed every day. I would go back again."

Will certainly stay there again"

Ng stayed at Hua Hin Grand Hotel on 2005-12-27 and said, "This hotel location is good for budgeting traveler. All rooms could view the town, specially at the end of left side one. Travelers require few minutes walk to night market but a special night market just outside of this hotel. It is quite intersting. The BBQ food is better then other night market. You can see Thai boxing every couple of days, it just next to the market. The room is clean but the interior decoration require to renew and provide more facilities. The siwmming pool design is OK.The buffet room staff standard has a lot of room to improve.Over all the commend is OK."

Take note of the other guests comments regarding the welcoming drink - I think it is cold green tea and tastes awful. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss rather than risk causing offence by leaving it.The room was a reasonable size and clean but the colour scheme is something of an acquired taste - shades of grey.A basic hotel."

John stayed at Hua Hin Grand Hotel on 2004-11-17 and said, "We enjoyed our stay at the Grand and being on the 14th. floor really enjoyed the views. Staff were polite and helpful. The location is excellent, being near to the market and town centre. On the down side the place looks dated and the generally the hotel needs modernising.Nevertheless, I would recommend it as being good value for money."

Patricia stayed at Hua Hin Grand Hotel on 2004-09-27 and said, "We found this hotel great value for money and indeed booked for a longer period. The staff were amazing and the free breakfast was enough to last for a full day and included everything from Thai to American. We were told the location was not really central, but we found it central enough. Very close to the beach and a delightful market right underneath the Grand from the Wednesday with the other markets nearby offering everything possible alongside the town. Everything in walking distance but tuk tuks were available for around 40-50 baht if required. I recommend the hotel for price, cleanliness, staff friendliness, food and location. It does need a bit of a upgrading, but was perfectly priced for what it was. We also found the pool better than the other hotels as it catered for the swimmer as well as the lounger and was large."
