The river house resort has been the best yet. I spent a week there and was very impressed with the standard of the hotel. I visited friends in other 4 star hotels in Chaing Rai while there, and none of them compared to the River house. it was in good condition and kept very clean. my room, a suite, (get it if you can spare the little extra) was a great size with a big veranda overlooking the river and pool. The most outstanding thing about the resort was the excellent staff. efficient, well trained, super friendly. I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Chiang rai"
