Razman said, "Yaang Come Village is located right in the middle of the city. 2 minutes walk from the Night Bazaar, lots of food around the area. You will not believe what you see when you enter Yaang Come Village. Its beautiful, and full of green and flowers that make you wonder how they did this. There is no iron or board in the hotel, you need to send to laundry (i did not like this even though its cheap, i wanted it for simple ironing). And you must tell the front desk everything you need. Like spraying your room for mosquitos at night, etc. But its simply beautiful."
Rachel said, "This is our second stay at Yaang Come. The staff are just fantastic. They go out of their way to help. The resort is well apponited. Our room was huge and a lovely cot was set up for our baby. The food at the restaurant was good and fresh. Overall a really good stay. Would definately recommend it to others and stay again next time we come to Chiang Mai. Recommend the day spa."
R. said, "We fopund this to be a great Hotel to stay at in the middle of the town, very comvinently situated.A little bit of Paradise. Staff were wonderful, always smiling and very helpful, a great find.We only had breakfast in the resturant, as the night market is where you eat,and this is only 5 min, walk.Only negative comment is there are lots of mosquites keep your door closed and spray the room. We will definitly use this Hotel again ."
Edward said, "Very nice indeed ... room was spacious, clean and fully equipped, breakfast was excellent, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Despite pre-warning of adjacent construction work, the ambience was very peaceful throughout, even tho the location is not even 5 minutes from the heart of town. We were v satisfied. Whenever you begin to lose faith in the human race, then a few days here will restore it, honest!"
E.G. said, "Very nice hotel with friendly people. A green oasis in the middle of the city (1 minute walk from the night market) The rooms are quit and clean and the breakfast buffet was very good."
Ian said, "Although the staff were really helpful and couldn t do enough for you it didn t detract from the fact that our superior room was damp and smelly. The main reason for the damp is related to the lack of sunlight some of the superior rooms receive during the day. Our room also backed onto a large constructing project that was thankfully just commencing. I think the construction work may be a real problem in 2009, so it might be worth checking before you make a booking at Yaang Come Village."
Mrs said, "We loved this hotel. It is perfectly located within walking distance of the night markets and is reasonably close to the old town and the temples. The hotel facilities were excellent. We appreciated the two storey buildings, a welcome change from all the high rise around it. The gardens and pool area are beautifully laid out and well maintained. The accommodation is excellent and the service was impressive. There is a good menu with a wide choice of foods, quite reasonably priced. Although this hotel is not cheap, we felt that we got good value for our money and we would recommend it."
Nicole said, "Absolutely the best place that we . This place turned our image of Thailand from being the land of a Thousand Scams to the more recognised land of a Thousand Smiles. The staff, grounds and surrounding atmosphere were simply perfect."
GALI said, "Perfect stay in this boutique hotel in a lovely setting. We appreciate very much free internet. Staff very kind and careful. Loved it. Will recommend to anyone."
SHARON said, "ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL !!! Myself and my husband and 2 friends spent 3 nights at Yaang Come Village. We had a brilliant New Years Eve Gala dinner with them. The staff are so lovely and extremely efficiant,we were very sad to be leaving. It is a brilliant location,so close to the night market and lots of restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. It is a beautiful ,calm oasis in a bustling city."
william said, "Beautiful hotel in the middle of Chang-mai. Very relaxing and pieceful setting. The room was just beautiful and the staff very helpful with everything reservations for day trips etc. In addition it is walking distance to the night bazar. We Hoh Samui, this was our best accomodations resulting in some of the more lasting memories. Highly, Highly recommended!"
Pouna said, "tres bel hotel de style thai, decoration raffinee, bien situe et avec tout le confort.Parfait aussi avec des enfants et le personnel est souriant et accueillant."
James said, "Fantastic hotel, definitely recommend! It is an oasis of calm in Chiang Mai. The staff are very freindly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed, the restaurant is excellent and the pool is lovely. Liked it so much we extended our stay by one night (would have done more if we could!)."
Andrea said, "Our stay in Yaang Come Village in Chiangmai was fabulous. Why would anyone stay anywhere else? It is the best little oasis in the heart of the city. Staff and restaurant were wonderful. We hope to go back some day soon."
todd said, "Yaang Come is incredible. The staff are the friendliest of any hotel I ve been to in Thailand. The accomodations are really beautiful, and the location is great also. I would highly recommend the hotel and certainly return myself if back in the Chiang Mai area. The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet fresh and plentiful. They are a first class hotel and I was 100% happy for my entire vacation."
Barry said, "My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Yaang Come. The location of the hotel in Chiang Mai is ideally suited; easy to visit the Night Market since it s very close by. Although there was some construction, and our room was near it, it never bothered us. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff, however, make the hotel! They are extremely helpful, couteous, and appear to genuinely want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The only negative to mention would be the dinner at the hotel -- which left something to be desired. The breakfast was good, but for dinner we would recommend finding some place nearby (and there are several!). We recommend Yaang Come and will stay there again when we return to Chiang Mai."
Linda said, "This was the first hotel we it did not disappoint, especially the beautifully decorated Lanna style reception area. The front of house staff are incredibly polite, friendly, helpful and efficient - everything you could hope for. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Also the new Whole Earth restuarant in the hotel s grounds is definitely worth a try. The hotel grounds themselves are attractively landscaped and well cared for, making the pool area a calm oasis. Our superior double room was pleasant and large. On our first night the turn-down service lit a tealight under scented oil in the bathroom that permeated the whole room, plus decorated towels with little flower buds and placed two highly fragrant flowers below the pillows on the bed. Touches like that are unbeatable. My only small criticism is the veranda area outside our room: the overhang from the roof is enormous, therefore much of the light is blocked out. I understand that this is protection from the fierce sun, but the buildings containing the superior rooms themselves aren t pretty being made of brick and concrete so it feels quite overbearing. One word of caution - beware the mosquitos. There are a lot of them at night in Chiang Mai! Wear very stong insect repellent. Overall a wonderful experience and we would stay here again."
Christine said, "We very much enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 young boys and we all felt warmly welcomed and looked after by the very attentive and friendly staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, well designed and well cared for. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it highly."
Anthony said, "Fantastic hotel. Only problem was with the booking options. I had been to this hotel before and thought I was booking family room when I booked the Family package but in fact the family package is just a room with two put up beds in it. This upset us on arrival but we had a lovely time."
Lynne said, "Boutique hotel in centre of Chiang Mai. Some construction noise which should have been notified before I booked. Good restaurant. Housekeeping average with very hard bed! Free fast internet in reception (3 workstations) and in Deluxe rooms. I booked superior room which was fine for my stay. Free water and fruit bowl daily. Charming staff with lots of smiles. Night markets just around the corner."
Regis said, "A green island in Chiang Mai. The rooms are spacious rooms, the staff very carefull. We will definitly return there.Very close to the night market and the Whole Earth restaurant."
Carla said, "This Village is amazing, the room was superb, the food was delicious, the hotel staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. This hotel was like a peice if paradise in the middle of Chiang Mai and the night markets are only 2 minutes walk."
Mr. said, "This was a lovely resort the extra touches to the room made by housekeeping made you feel really special. The resort at this time of year was all but empty, but the staff were attentive and helpfull, And it really is only two minutes walk from the Night market. Well worth the money.Stay here it is a class above the rest."
Stuart said, "Fantastic place to stay and so close to the Night Bizarre. Staff friendly and rooms are huge (you even get a bottle of mosi spray thrown in!) Have recommended to several friends and would certainly stay again if the opportunity arises!"
Sandra said, "Lovely hotel extremely efficient staff pleasure to stay would definitely go back."
CORINNE said, "This is truly the nicest hotel I ve no regrets at all! The service is the best I ve encountered throughout Chiang Mai, which is not common, despite the usual expectations from the Land of a Thousand Smiles . The room we had is very spacious, and the bathroom is just wonderful although a bathtub would have just pushed it up a notch higher. The toiletries provided were of high quality and even the bathroom fittings were well thought out, especially the bench within the shower cubicle. Breakfast spread could have been wider but we really appreciated the cleanliness and freshness of the food offered. And the freebies (internet use, fruits, etc) was really pleasant too.Look out for the mossies though during the dry season. Swarms! While in Chiang Mai, do make arrangements to visit The Elephant Nature Park. Recognised throughout the world, and featured in National Geographic, this is one park where you really get to know elephants and their plight, and not unknowingly add to their suffering. Check out www.elephantnaturefoundation.org."
Karen said, "Without a doubt the nicest place we have y to local town and bars and markets. You wont regret staying here for romantic holiday! Pool is great. Went on to stay in the Marriot in Bangkok but wish we had done it the other way round. Yaang Come heaps nicer and cheaper too! Free internet and computer at the beautiful reception area too. Couldnt fault it!"
Gerhard said, "Highly recommendable for people who love a quiet and peaceful retreat yet like to be in walking distance to local as well as night markets and restaurants. The staff is polite and helpful, they seem to read your lips. Our room and bath were very well maintained and impeckably clean. Overall rating: at least four ****, and not only from the Thai point of view!Gerhard and Renate, Germany, age bracket: 50-60"
Chris said, "Yaang Come Village is situated a short walk from the Night Bazaar and Food market but in tranquil oasis. The atmosphere is one of serenity and beauty. We received a wonderful welcome and our room was everything we had hoped it would be. Attention to detail (flowers laid on our beds in and in towels) makes this a very special place to be and the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. There is free internet access, the food was wonderful, the pool perfect and a great place to return to after the rigours of shopping and sightseeing."
Iris said, "excellent in every aspect-location,rooms and garden, breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff"
Rochelle said, "Very well located - 5 mins walk to Night Market. Spacious room (Superior) & comfortable king size bed. Friendly & professional staff. Highly recommended."
Hannah said, "We loved the Yaang Come Village Hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was beautiful and so clean, all facilities were brilliant and breakfast was the best in Thailand! We would deff stay here again if we return to Chiang Mai - close to the markets and attractions too. Thank You Yaang Come! x"
Sandy said, "Best bang for buck hotel ever! We we could not have been happier. The room was large, bathroom immense and the breakfast was out of this world. The service compares to a 5-star hotel. Very warm, curtious staff that goes the extra mile with little touches of flowers, fruit, smiles and even filling up your kettle with water for the next morning. Free web service that no other hotel offers and perfect location. A true oasis in the bustling city of Chiang Mei. We just loved it. Highly recommended!"
Colette said, "Quiet and beautiful hotel. Great rooms with a very nice atmosphere, beautiful garden (big banyan tree), nice pool, incredibly friendly staff, good food in their restaurant. One of the best hotels during our stay in Thailand."
Lisa said, "we were very pleased with this hotel. It has nice rooms which are clean and spacious. The stuff was friendly and helpfull. Very near to the nigth market. And, as others have mentioned already, it really is an oasis. It was always nice to come back home for a rest or a swim after a busy day touring around Chiang Mai."
Craig said, "This is the best hotel we ve ing, couldn t be more helpful. Breakfast very good, as is food in the restaurant. The rooms are spotless as is the beautiful poolside area. Amazing considering only steps away from the Night Market. There is some building work going on behind the hotel but really didn t impinge at all. Couldn t fault the hotel in any way - just wish I could return tomorrow!"
Neil said, "The hotel was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go there again."
herman said, "Beautiful infrastructure and facilities near Night Market; outstanding staff, amazingly friendly. Too bad we were only staying 2 nights. Highly recommended."
Brian said, "what can I say? this hotels is just beautiful and has a really quality finish on everything. On arrival we were greeted by welcoming smiles and the staff even took the time to explain how everything works and extra services available. The pool is small but we never had a problem getting a sun lounge. really close to the night baazar where there is plenty of shopping."

Paul said, "Fantastic! Staff was unbelievably accomodating and pleasant. They set a high standard for our trip as this was our first hotel in Thailand. Location is perfect, close but secluded. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Restaurant Rendevouz just down the street is outstanding. Can t wait to return! Highly recommend!!"
Mindy said, "Great place to stay - an oasis of calm in busy Chiang Mai! Staff were excellent; even bargained with the tuk-tuk drivers if they thought we were being charged too much (even though we had negotiated great prices in advance!). Breakfast was buffet style and well prepared and rooms and pool area kept spotless. Highly recommended."
Marcus said, "Wow, what a place. fantastic service, beautiful rooms and bathrooms. A perfect oasis from the hussle and bussle of the night market. This is THE place to stay in Chiang Mai!"
John said, "Absolutely perfect lodging for a relaxed several days in Chang Mai. Great in-town location yet quiet and free of the dusty fumes of Chang Mai s congested streets. Staff is superb; attentive yet not overwhelming. Hotel food is terrific and reasonably priced. We had several meals there other than breakfast and were very pleased with the quality and service. Construction is on-going immediately behind the YCV on a new Shangri-La hotel but the work did not affect our stay at all. YCV is a true oasis. Definately would return."
Michelle said, "Yaang Come Village was a wonderful place to stay in Chiang Mai. It was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to find ourselves in a distinctly thai hotel and a serene setting in the midst of the city.I would definitely recommend this hotel in Chiang Mai."
Richard said, "I originally wasn t going to stay here because of the price - ~$100usd/nt. I m glad I was convinced otherwise from th reviews. What a fantastic place. While the rooms are slightly above average in size and quality, the grounds, staff, pool, location, and nice extra details made for a great stay."
Deborah said, "This was in a lovely setting with very friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and thought is very good value for money. Minutes away from the night market. I would definitely go back. Only down side was that we were asked to cover the laundry costs for the bath mats because there was a mark they could not remove!! We made our feelings known and received an apology."
