Giudizio sicuramente ottimo."
Ingo said, "Was there with my girlfriend, both liked it very much: Room was beautifully decorated, with love for details (pictures, colours), very clean - just wonderful. Overall place esp. pool area is very tranquil as well. -) Highly recommended, unless you bring insect repellent!"
ALEXANDRE said, "The hotel is charming, but rooms doesn t worse that price. you can find better hotels in chiang Mai, closer to city center and restaurants. The staff is not very friendly, and despite we asked a double bed, the only room remaining was with twin beds. Not very nice for a honeymoon !"
Nina said, "This is a lovely place, beautiful Lanna style.I loved the darknes.60 Tbh from the night marked. we vill be back some time."
Tara said, "Tri Yaan Na Ros is quite charming, the architecture is unique however the rooms are extremely dark which gives the impression that the rooms aren t as clean as they can be. The staff is friendly, but not very time sensitive (i.e. have a plane to catch). Also the hotel is not well situated - if you don t want to eat in their restaurant (limited menu), the nearest next option is a 10 minute walk. In the price class for Chiang Mai, I have with 2 double beds the rooms are VERY cramped."
Sina said, "My friend and I totally fell in love with this little cozy, private yet stylish boutique hotel. The location is excellent, with the saturday market right outside the door and other attractions and restaurants just a 5 to 10 minute ride on a tuk tuk. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, from making recommendations on spa and day trips to booking us tuk tuk at night. The room does get a bit dark esp. at night but the owner was trying to re-create the living environment during the old days when there was little or no eletricity. It didnt bother us too much except when we were trying to find some small things in our suitcases. The breakfast is very simple but there are scrambled eggs and bacon/sausages on request. For those who desire a more traditional thai breakfast, there is a little noodle shop 2 minute walk from the hotel which serves delicious soup noodle (costs only 20 baht). The hotel was definitely a highlight of our trip and would love to return one day!"
karin said, "my stay at the lovely tri yaan na ros was of a good experience. small, quiet and friendly it was the perfect stay for myself away a few day s from familie duties. away from the bustling streets of chiang mai but yet close to all amenities i would defenetly go back on my next trip. most taxi knew the place but recommend you have a thai written adress with you in case. although the rooms a bit dark for reading they re cosy. breakfast could have a little more variety but was good as such and i appreciated much the coffee maschine! I recommend the hotel for singels or couples. keep it up and see you soonkarin kuala lumpur"
darran said, "I really enjoyed my stay at the Tri Yaan Na Ross Colonial House. The room was very nice, quite beyond my expecation. The room was very clean and well presented. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was situated well, within a good distance from all aminities. The only thing I can say that could have been a little better, would be the breakfast, it was a little small, I do enjoy a good breakfast but on the whole the hotel is a good one and I will stay there again."
Matthew said, "From the free pick-up at the airport to checking out the staff at this picturesque hotel really know how to look after their guests. It is a small boutique, just eight rooms, and all needs are catered for. Friendly staff, comfortable and good size rooms (with excellent air-con), and a small but perfectly formed pool ideal for a quick dip. Location is also good, away from the main drag but just a 60B tuc-tuc ride from the night bazaar and restaurants etc. Being in the north the value for money is also spot on. Can t fault it."
Sharon said, "Small boutique hotel with only 8 delightful rooms. Very quaint. Service was excellent. But few things that got to me. 1. Rooms are too dark - you can forget about reading. 2. Mozzies - they re everywhere. Sit at the pretty pool and be prepared to feed them well. 3. Bed is rock hard - some people like it this way I guess but I couldn t sleep for 4 nights... 4. Bed bugs - either that or the mozzies are lethal to cause huge red welts all over my body. 5. Location - you can t walk around. Everywhere is a tuk tuk away. Which costs significantly more than in BKK for the same distance. I wonder why since we re in Chiang Mai..."
MALCOLM said, "Staff very friendly, approachable and helpful..rooms are compact but with nice decor and very clean. Overall ambience of hotel is very peaceful and personal [only 8 rooms] Nice retreat after a hard day of pounding Chiang Mai s street markets. Highly recommended and value for money."
Hié said, "Beautiful and tranquil boutique hotel, with lots of charm. Staff very helpful and friendly. There are only 8 rooms, all decorated in Thai and colonial style. A perfect place for a perfect moment in Chiang Mai. Plus on Saturdays, there is a local market next to the hotel.Just 3 remarks: just a trickle of water in the shower, problems to set the hot water and not very various and copious breakfast. Dinner should also be proposed. Anyway, we loved it so much that we are planning to go back there next year."
Joseph said, "Simply a delightful, wonderful place to stay. The room was as pictured and although a bit smallish, met our expectations for a very comfortable place to stay. A family run Colonial House landscaped so that you feel you re on a tropical island. In addition, free internet was an unexpected bonus. Wonderful gift shop which had prices and products better than we found on the street. Sing Sing was a marvelously gracious hostess. The staff went far out of their way to make our visit enjoyable: Wonderful breakfasts, helpful attitudes, smiling faces...just a joy to stay there. The location was also exactly what we wanted: Close enough to walking distance to the Walled City along with hiring a Tuk Tuk for an hour for 400 Baht to take us to a couple of Wats. We ventured on to Samui and then to Bangkok. What we both thought was: Nice....but nothing like our stay at the Tri Yann Na Ros ."
Michelle said, "The house is very nice, and the rooms are romantic with dimmed lighting (so if you are coming to do work or reading forget it!) The place is hard to find for taxi drivers because the entry is at the back and they take you down these back streets that initially makes you wonder if you are being abducted! Also there is a school nearby which you can hear doing the day. The area is not that nice, you have to walk 300m down the road before there are shops you can buy something at (the ones close by are more industrial). The breakfast is okay and the orange juice nice and freshly squeezed. Overall if ambience where you stay is important then great, stay here and go into town and action by taxi. If you prefer action when you step out of your hotel it is not the place for you."
