Peter stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2008-05-07 and said, "Great boutique hotel, a little hard to find down a small backstreet but worth the effort. Staff were great, food was great (but at the pricey end by Chiangmai standards)and we had a very memorable 5 days stay. Would stay there again if we visit Chiangmai again."
Spinazze` stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2008-02-17 and said, "Rachamankha is not only a beautiful Hotel giving a great service service. It s more.It s the perfect ambiance for any designer lover, is the feeling of the Chiang Mai and Thai Lanna culture; unique experience for any European tourist. It s the signature of a great Thai architect.Try it in your life in the sunny season."

Mr/Mrs stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2007-02-15 and said, "A beautiful site and a relaxing and peaceful experience. Well appointed two bedroom suite, beautiful grounds, main areas and swimming pool. Staff exceptional. Breakfast and dinners upscale and delicious. Hidden in the old walled city. Our favorite hotel in Thailand."
Phyllis stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2007-02-01 and said, "Fabulous hotel---beautiful and serene. The restaurant is excellent. Only negative is that the shower doesn t have enough force and the water isn t hot enough."
Melissa stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2007-01-04 and said, "Fantastic hotel! We had the 2 bedroom suite for 4 family members and it was like our private villa with separate entrances from the rest of the hotel. The hotel itself is just beautiful and serene. The staff was attentive, polite but not overbearing. The water pressure is not the best but that is a minor issue. I would most definitely stay at the Rachamankha again - actually I d like to move in to the 2 bedroom suite... would just have to enlarge the kitchen a bit!"
Ward stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2006-10-29 and said, "loved the hotel ! Down the street the 2 favorite small restaurants The Wok and Huen phen."
Carol stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2006-10-22 and said, "This hotel was wonderful - quiet, clean with enjoyable amenities. The gardens, sitting areas and pool were very peaceful. The decor was fascinating. The library and free internet were great. We were within walking distance of the old wat and a short taxi ride from the night bazaar. The staff were very helpful, food was good. We will stay here again when we return to Chiang Mai."
Frans stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2006-06-28 and said, "This is definately to be recommended to any and everybody. The service is tops and always friendly. The facility is also the best we ve seen in Thailand and it compliments the artistic/historic Chang-Mai. We will be return soon!"
Ginny stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2006-05-03 and said, "We had a wonderful time at this beautiful and relaxing hotel. The staff was so kind and helpful. I would stay there again and will recommend it to others."
Stanley stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2006-04-23 and said, "Iwas not impressed. The contractor tried to built 3+ years ago a boutique hotel to be a replica of a 50 year old estate. I think he/she did not succeed. The antiques which they raved about were 19th century. I bought authenticated 18th century items and you would think the hotel would have had 17th, 18th and 19th century pieces. The dining room was not well air conditioned and the food was fair to good but at high prices for Chiangi Mai.I would not return despite the $170 inclusive rate. The included breakfast buffet was just o k."
Ronald stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2006-01-18 and said, "The Rachamankha was by far the finest hotel of the three we used in Thailand, including the big names. Facilities and service far exceeded our expectations."
John stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-12-23 and said, "Beautiful hotel and really exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. There are some noise issues, however, most notably a nearby rooster who starts crowing around 5 AM and goes on all morning."
Michael stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-11-03 and said, "This hotel is an excellent choice. Elegant and serene boutique hotel in a good location in the old city . Fine and friendly service."
Bhavna stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-10-23 and said, "I found the Rachamankha hotel to be by far a most tranquil, elegant and beautiful space in Chiangmai. The staff could not be more gracious and hospitable and the attention to detail and service was amazing. The space they have created is truly a sanctuary in the middle of old Chiangmai. I would go back again and again."
Kate stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-10-11 and said, "this stay was the highlight of my trip to thailand--beautiful from every angle, great service, so serene--a real retreat and right near a lovely spa. You will want to spend a lot of time here--try the banana daquiris"
Brett stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-09-28 and said, "The hotel, room and facilities are superb, echoing the calm and serenity of a temple--a comment also made by the taxi-driver on the way to the hotel. The staff are, to a person, singlemindedly focused on exquisite service; they were cheerful, attentive and balanced in their care when you needed them, unobtrusive when you did not. There is a sense of privacy in your room that one rarely finds at a hotel, no matter the size. The included breakfast is generous, varied and delicious. The (complimentary) dinner was good as well.In short, this is a remarkable place and well worth an extended stay."
Sally stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-09-24 and said, "The hotel is a beautiful place very conveniently located in the old city in Chiangmai. The Lanna style architecture means the hotel space is arranged as a series of courtyards. Although not large, this means you have even greater privacy, as only a few rooms are arranged around any particular courtyard. Be sure to use the library and the free DSL internet. The staff at the hotel is absolutely wonderful, making you feel so welcomed and cared for. We arranged tours through the hotel very successfully. We were two travel agents with two friends, and we can t say enough about this hotel and staff. I d recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Chiangmai proper. It s one of the few hotel websites where I felt the website didn t do justice to the hotel. Frequently, the websites make the hotel look a bit better than it actually is! If in Chiangmai again, I d certainly repeat a stay here. The one thing to be aware of is that all rooms have only king beds in them. For some parties this might be a disadvantage. For us, it wasn t an issue."
Stephen stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-08-12 and said, "A beautifully designed hotel with many treasures on view. The staff couldn t do enough for you. The hotel was situated centrally. The massages we booked at the hotel were excellent. It would have been nice to have coffee and tea making facilities in the room and somewhere to hang wet clothing as it rained a lot while we were there. Apart from that we had a wonderful short stay."
James stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-08-09 and said, "Rachamankha was a beautiful hotel and the people were so amazingly helpful and friendly. The restaurant also did a great job. I would highly suggest this hotel to anyone."
Mr stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-08-06 and said, "An absolutely stunning hotel right in the heart of Chiang Mai . As it only has 25 rooms there is a quiet and relaxied atmosphere. The service was first class and the food perhaps the best we ate in Thailand during our 3 week trip .We would highly recommend the hotel to any travellers looking for a combination of good service , good food in lovely hotel surroundings ."
Andrew stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-07-16 and said, "Spent 3 nights at the Rachamankha in July, 2005. My wife and I absolutely loved it. The rooms are nice and big, but nothing over the top. The grounds and pool are immaculate. The service is friendly and top notch. The complimentary tea and cakes in the solitude of the restaurant was a huge bonus. The Rachamankha is nicely situated, very close to the best Wats, and either walking distance or a short tuk tuk ride to everything. We were very sad to leave. We had to go back to Chiang Mai for a single night later on our trip, but the Rachamankha was sold out, so we stayed at the Sheraton. There s no comparison, the Sheraton has none of the character of the Rachamankha (you could stay at a normal high rise hotel anywhere, but the Rachamankha is a rare find!). If we ever return to Chiang Mai, this is where we d stay, for sure."
Nicholas stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-03-25 and said, "I could not be more impressed with the hotel and sawadee.com in booking the reservation. At first I was a little hesitant paying in advance and not knowing if there would indeed be a room waiting for me when I got there. No problem with my reservation, the voucher or front desk. The hotel is exquisite...wonderful grounds, pool, library (internet service...not ultra fast...but adequate). The restaurant served a mix of Euro/Asian fusion cuisine and staff went beyond the norm to assure of a pleasant stay. The only (and minor) concern is that the hotel is a little difficult to locate (next time just tell driver near temple) and a 10 minute (at most) taxi or tuk-tuk to night market, river, town, etc. Hotel Rachamankha has to be the best boutique style hotel in Chiang Mai...very nice!"
Laurelyn stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-03-16 and said, "Our experience at the rachamankha was just exquisite. We stayed in some very nice hotels while in thailand, including the Oriental Bangkok, but the rachamanckha was the best. Everything about it was beautiful, the rooms, the pool, the grounds. It was peaceful and rejuvenating to come home to. I would absolutely return and will highly recommend to everyone. Thank you."
Brett stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-02-03 and said, "The Rachamankha is quite simply one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The design and decor of the hotel is stunning and offers a serene oasis in the heart of old town Chiang Mai. The staff and service are impeccable, as is the on-site restaurant. We couldn t recommed this hotel highly enough and would certainly stay there again on any future trips to Chiang Mai."
Keisuke stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2005-02-02 and said, "I enjoyed enchanting decor, nice staff, and easy-to-access location of this hotel. Although it s been in business for only nine months, it has already become one of the major high-end hotels in this area. I can recommend this hotel with best enthusiasm I have got."

Susan stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2004-12-04 and said, "This is a great facility. Even though it just opened 7 months ago, one would think by viewing the landscaping and buildings its been there for 5o years. The landscaping is very lush and the pool is gorgeous. The service is impeccable and the staff very helpful. I highly recommend."
Dary stayed at Rachamankha Chiangmai on 2004-11-23 and said, "This is an absolutely fabulous boutique hotel. If you are looking for a hotel with a Thai/Asian feel, this is it. Beautiful furnishings including antiques in the rooms and lobby etc. The service is impeccable. A great upscale property. I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is inside the old city which is very nice."
