Von stayed at Proud Phu Fah on 2007-10-07 and said, "This little resort is a real gem :) It s perched ontop of the mountain, so the air is fresh and cool. The villas are special, lotsa privacy due to the placement of the villas. Resort s Decor is fairy-like, modern and whimsical. Lobby area plays chill-out, so it s great for the lounge lizard. Restaurant serves pretty good grub too. All in all, pretty perfect. Only thing being that the rooms can age quite easily, so maintenance is necessary. As this resort s rates are quite high when compared to alternatives in chiangmai, some may walk away feeling like they didn t get their money s worth. That s subjective. But objectively speaking, the resort is really quite special."

Seow stayed at Proud Phu Fah on 2006-07-22 and said, "The hotel is small and has a cosy feeling to it. The food served is reasonably priced and tasty. The staff is accomodating and helpful. However, be prepared for the insects as the hotel is built in very natural surroundings. Big plus as the environment is nice, big minus as I felt there were too many insects. The hotel housekeeping and maintenace could be more thorough and detailed oriented for the price paid. There are always small particles on the bed. The doors cannot be locked or closed properly. Overall, it is an interesting experience."
