Adam stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-06-15 and said, "Good location close to night bazaar and old city. Rooms was very small but fine. breakfast was pretty bad. Hotel charged us 200 baht extra for one broken water glass which seemed a bit crazy."
Staffan stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-06-09 and said, "The hotel is very nice, nice rooms, cleaning ok. But stay at main hotel not annex. Breakfast good.Pool small but nice. Staff ok, but nothing special.Lokaction perfekt. When back in Chiang Mai I would stay here again."
Mrs stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-05-25 and said, "Friendly and great service, we booked to Delux Terrace s adjoining rooms were just as good as internet loved the breakfast, great location, would stay again also great value."
Catherine stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-04-24 and said, "Excellent all around, the staff, the room, the breakfast, everything. Ideal location you can walk to the Night Market. Will stay there next time in Chaing Mai"
Kelly stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-03-28 and said, "Great hotel. 5 minute walking distance to the night bazaar. Hotel restaurant was not open for supper, so if we just wanted to stay close, we couldn t. Breakfast wasn t the best. Very clean, staff very kind! Would recommend, and would stay again."
Heikki stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-02-28 and said, "Nice hotel with good location, walking distance from the Night Market.Staff was very friendly and breakfast was excellent too."
Jerry stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-02-22 and said, "Great location - EZ walk to the walled city, Saturday and Sunday night markets, Daily night market and the River. We liked our room but try to get a room in the main building as they are much nicer. Staff was helpful. Complimentary Inet access a nice touch. Breakfast was good as was the table service."
Shirley stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-02-14 and said, "Maninarakorn Hotel location is quite centre and near Night Bazaar with free internet for customers use. However our shower was not working very well either too hot or too cold thought we didn t complain because we were only staying for 2 nights. Disapointment with night duty staff lack of kwowledge of international dialing code. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay but would recommend more fruit selections. Fruit juice generally is too sweet in Thailand. Would be nice to have an omelette station.Overall would recomment to friends if above sorted."
Stanley stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-02-02 and said, "The main building might be better, but I would not recommend the older building at the back. The rooms (our group had three) were clean but basically concrete shells which had a faintly musty smell. Two of us had no hot water most of the time. There are no elevators which was not a problem for us but might be for others. The breakfast was fine and the staff helpful, and the location is good, near the Night Bazaar."
Robert stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-01-31 and said, "Excellent room, very clean and well presented....doors a wee bit on the low side. Only real negative was door security, cheap and nasty lock, easily forced. Breakfast OK tho no beans or tomatoes. Service excellent. Agree with previous comment about Tuk Tuk s etc drivers not aware of this hotel. Will definately stay again."
Brian stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2008-01-07 and said, "On the plus is the breakfast buffet. It has good western food . Corn flakes, bacon and eggs etc. A negative is that it s new and nobody knows where it is ie tuk tuk and taxi. I moved after my reservation expired because the room is disfunctional. The bathroom was the worst. The entry door is only 5 8 1/2 high. There is no toilet roll holder. No shelving and to sit on the throne took a major contortion with one foot in the shower and twisted sideways. I also found the stairs difficult in that they are steep and narrow with low headroom. No elevator.Service was ok except for check out. When they learnt I was moving to new hotel they went very cold."
JADE stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-12-24 and said, "This hotel was fantastic. Good sized room, good breakfast, good location and fantastic service. The reception staff were great. Incredibly helpful when it came to booking activities. Also the free quick internet was a great addition."
Dazel stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-12-01 and said, "Nice hotel, massive rooms. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is pretty good. Pool looked nice but I did not use it. Conveniently located just outside the city and nearish the night markets."
Sebastian stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-11-16 and said, "the place was ok. the rooms were quite nice. not a luxury or boutique place, but kind of a good city hotel. it was worth the money. the only minus was the breakfast buffet, which was very basic..."
Angelique stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-09-30 and said, "The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and had a great selection of different tastes. Nice staff. The facilities in the neighbourhood such as restaurants, night bazaar, banks, internet are also very convenient. The hotels pick-up service woked perfectly. It is not the cheapest hotel you can find but we considered it value for money. We would return there again next time."
Zachi stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-09-13 and said, "great great great hotel - well located in chian may. very nice and helpful staff, big and comertable rooms, good breakfast. this hotel is recomended by me at any time !!"
Robyn stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-09-10 and said, "Great hotel, friendly service, nice pool and great suite room. Well located, close to the Night Markets. No in house restaurant apart from breakfast but not a problem as plenty of restaurants close by. I would stay here again."
Chithra stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-08-08 and said, "We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet hotel conviniently located at the heart of the city. Everything is just a 5-10minute tuk-tuk ride away or you could enjoy a 15minute stroll to the night market. We stayed at the terrace and the rooms were very spacious together with a little living area for the family to gather. The terrace rooms are removed from the main hotel and do not have lift access. The deluxe rooms are on the third floor so it does require one to climb several stairs, which we didn t mind. Service was good - the free trnsfer to-and-from airport was great. The hotel wasn t filled with tourists and we had free access to the little pool, steam, sauna and hot tub. Some suggestions for improvements include: brighter lighting in the rooms, an enclosed shower area, replacing the glass window in the bathroom. Breakfast was average and limited in choice, but it didn t bother us."
Lily stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-07-02 and said, "Nice hotel, rooms are comfortable and functional but not lavish. Staff friendly, breakfast good, small restaurants and cafes surrounding hotel also adequate. And the travel agency at the front of the hotel really made the trip...great little place. One thing: the hotel is ~ 15min walk to the main strip of the night market, and you have to pass the hookers to get there. So at night as a single female traveler, was not my favorite thing to walk home through. Other than that Maninarakorn was just fine."
Gareth stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel on 2007-06-27 and said, "Paid 200baht for airport pick-up. nice big 7 seater vehicle. hotel is hidden in an alley. walkable distance to night bazaar abt 10 mins. suite room was ok for the price i paid, abt 2600 baht. nicely furnished and big. no bathtub though, hotel corridors very dark and no aircon. shower in toilet runs either very hot or cold..difficult to get nice water temperature. breakfast was terrible, not buffet style. all you get is an american breakfast with some hotdog, sunny side up and bacon and some self-service cereal and bread. hotel was virtually empty, more staff than guests. swimmin pool is pretty small but ok since i didnt use it. fitness center not ready yet. hotels seems really new and most amenities are either not ready or starting to get ready. staff seems decent english. Note: Coffee sachet in room is not free. i got charged 50 baht for it which i think is ridiculous. 4 bottles of water are free, room has microwave oven though. nice lcd tv too and shower room is see through sytle top to bottom. door is lock it yourself and not card key. overall, is ok for the price at 2600 but if at full rack rate of 3500. no way..."
