Steven stayed at Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa on 2008-04-25 and said, "The hotel was wonderful! Since it was the low season, they upgraded us to a pool villa for free. The room was beautiful and clean and the outdoor bathtub, pool and sala were a true getaway. The food was also impressive, as the chef has his own creations."
Zoe stayed at Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa on 2008-02-25 and said, "The resort was very quiet. We never really saw anyone else stay there, even when we went to dinner. If you are looking for somewhere private then this is the place for you. The Resort Manager and the rest of his team were great. Very very helpful. We ll definitely be back."
Andrea stayed at Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa on 2008-02-18 and said, "Absolutely wonderful place. Very close to the city, about 10 to 15 minutes, but the place seems to be in the middle of nowhere, very quiet and peaceful. We stayed at the 2-bedroom garden cottage which was just great and suited us perfectly, two bedrooms and nice size living room with a little kitchen in between plus two very large bathrooms, outside seating area, excellent for a family with little children. The kids enjoyed the garden a lot, played ball, just liked to run around. I also had a look at the executive pool villas which are absolutely beautiful, but would not recommend that with small children because you have two separate villas which I find a bit tricky a nighttime and you only get a wonderful outside seating area around the pool, but no indoor living room area. Bathrooms are outrageous. Also looked at the family pool villas , but definitely would not recommend the family pool villa for a family with small children, it s built stilts and the stairs up there is not child-friendly at all, you don t have the living room area indoor, only outside and no kitchen at all. But it s a great place, lovely rooms, wonderful garden, friendly staff, good food, nothing to complain about, just be careful with your choice if you have little children. We will definitely go back there again, but would always go for the garden cottage."
Angela stayed at Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa on 2007-02-15 and said, "Lovely, charming place. our 10 year old daugter enjoyed having her own place with private garden and pool in Thailand.Welcome retreat after Bangkog and excursions to the busy streets of chiang Mai.So peaceful and friendly!"
R.Cecile stayed at Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa on 2006-08-06 and said, "Very beautiful hotel located in a paradise tropical garden. We had a delux room with a huge bed and the pool for us beacuse the hotel was almost empty. We felt like we were alone. The service was just great and the food delicious. We tried the spa which is very good too.We would have loved staying longer. I would advice this hotel to whose who search good quality, charm and peaceful place. Not far from chiang mai, 20 mn by car. We had rented a car which is a good thing to do in the area."
Eleanor stayed at Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa on 2006-01-30 and said, "We enjoyed our stay at the lovely Baan Deva Montra Boutique Hotel. It s location is both a plus and a minus. It s absolutely peaceful, serene and beautiful especially in the morning when we have our banana pancakes in the terrace of the outdoor resto. It s a minus because it is quite far altho they can provide transport to the city but it can get expensive. Overall, we were happy with the resort and the owner, Mrs. Sumalya Suriya, made us feel like her house guests. She was very warm and friendly. We definitely recommend this hotel which just opened its spa to those who want a peaceful, stress-relieving holiday."
