Ahmad said, "Most importantly for me, it is located near the BTS station (NANA & PLOEN CHIT) where I can go from point-to-point without having to go through Bangkok s nightmarish traffic. Food was ok as they served HALAL food. Room was clean & comfortable. Hotel services was quite disappointing as they do not provide wifi services to the rooms and the satellite TV channels sometimes on and off. Overall, we will come back and will stay at the same hotel."
Carolyn said, "Great hotel in good location. Breakfast really good too."
Mikhail said, "Clean room, nice pool, good breakfast, 600m BTS station."
ELLIS said, " guest rooms are very new and clean. The roof top pool was lovely.Staff polite. The only problems we had were with the key card to our room which didn t work as it should and the hotel directory in the room stated the restuarant was open until 2 am but when we went at 11.35 pm we were told it was closed."
ERWIN said, "I the service is as good as it used to be. Great service, nice rooms, good location for entertainment and shopping."
Ronald said, "Comfortable room. Lovely beding, duvet was perfect. Nice pool. adequate breakfast. We wanted to eat Halalin the evening, but the staff could not translate the menu(written in Arabic and Thai).Pathetic take away breakfast, one orange a bun and a soggy sandwich not even a drink to go with it. But overall we would go back."
Elvin said, "I am booked on superior rooms and they are excellent for the price. Bathroom is well maintained and tiles clean and white. Except for a minor one - they don t provide complementary toothbrush & toothpaste. All hotels I have been to provided such items. I have to go down and find a shop at the middle of the night. Fortunately, the location is very good to shops to buy small items. Very near to skytrain and key shopping malls. Just don t give-in to taxis charging by contract - should insist on meter only."
Patricia said, "Will not go back. Bad smells..... felt unclean."
Marco said, "A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY. IN ANY SENSE"
Lai said, "We have stinks most of the time including room. The front ofice staff are not very helpful in entertaining, our request for late check out at 2p.m. on May 4, 2008."
L said, "The rooms are decent and the staff very accommodating - almost to the point of being in a panic to serve you. My beef is that there is no wifi although if you get a business suite you get a voucher for a free 30 minutes when you connect to their box on the table. That strikes me as ridiculous. They should just put a wifi on every floor and join the 21st century."
Euan said, "Possibly the best alround hotel i have modern rooms, roof top pool well worth a visit if only to see the view.Staff and food was great.BUT.....be warned if your driving there, you can not access Soi 3 from Sukhomvit. It took us 45 minutes from seing the hotel to finally getting there. Driving down small alleys and though hospital grounds..No directions or warnings on web site about this. Also being charged 100 baht to 1/2 fill a baby bottle with milk was frustrating especialyy as the child did not have the breakfast.Minor details, great place"
KRAUSE said, "This hotel was good value for the price. It is surrounded in a good location, enough places to go nearby. Close to skytrain and bts, taxis are more than enough in front of the hotel. The rooms were nice furnished, spaceius and clean, breakfast was absolut ok. Only the pool area needs a bit more flowers and plants, and there are not enough sunchairs. If you order something to eat there, you have to wait a long time. But the friendly servicepeople at the pool are doing always their best. The whole staff was very friendly and efficient. I will stay there again on my next visit."
Jukka said, "ard hotels with rooms, location and staff."
Li said, "Good! especially the roof-top pool and the restaurant with live band at dinner time, food and service are in good level, room condition are average, location OK,the only inconvenience was the lobby locate at 5th floor."
Massimo said, "We enjoyed our time greatly. Their breakfast buffet and restaurant is good and they have a variety of choices available. Staff were courteous and helpful when needed, room was big enough and comfortable.Excellent rooftop swimming pool/jacuzzi, and wireless in all rooms. Short walk (no more than 10min) to the skytrain ( Nana station) which is the easist way to get to the popular areas of Bangkok. The night bazaar on Sukhumvit road isn t too bad but not much variety. Lots of restaurants on Sukhumvit, shops including tailors, Asia books and of course a Starbucks or three not far away! Overall a nice hotel and a convenient location for our needs!"
Jens said, "OK hotel and very good service."
Danny said, "Overall good experience. Friendly staffs. Near to BTS Skytrain station, shopping districts and attractions. The Sky Pool is great."
Andrew said, "This time we spent only one night at Zenith but we clean. Bathrooms, especially after the renovation works, are also very nice and clean. Breakfast, in our opinion, is quite good with a wide choice of different options. To be honest we got pretty much the same breakfast in very hotel we visited in Thailand. Overall we would recommend this hotel and will definately stay here again when visiting Bangkok."
bert-erik said, "toppenhotell och service var bra frukosten enorm"
ERWIN said, "I was quite surprised to find out that they have made a lot of effort in redecorating the rooms. Check-in and checking out was fast and without any problem. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the Sukhumvith area."
Mrs said, "This is our 3rd stay at this super hotel. The rooms have been refurbished since our last visit & are execellent. On the roof there is a lovely pool area were you can have a snack & drink. The breakfast is buffet style with everything imaginable available, a chef does fresh eggs, panckaes & waffles. The staff are so helpful & friendly. We wouldn t hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone. A good central position.Near by on soi 5 there is a great bar called Gullivers were you can sit & watch the world go by we even had 2 elephants visit us on a night. Also on soi 5 there is a supermarket called Foodland open 24 hours a day, with a litle cafe. The food is cooked fresh while you wait & soooo cheap."
Ebrahim said, "i like the hotel and location"
Johan said, "Had some problems when first arriving since the hotel did not recognize my booking for 2 hotel rooms when the reservation from samadee.com clearly said so!? I called sawadee and after 10 minutes they called back and told be to return to reception. Now all of a sudden I had two rooms waiting all though smoking rooms and not non smoking rooms as requested. When I returned the last day of my vacation I got two rooms one smoking and one none smoking but the non smoking room smelled like smoke anyway!? All over a ok hotel for the price. Good breakfast and centrally located in the hart of Bangkok (Arabic district). Generally friendly staff despite the initiall reluctance to belive me when I told then that I had reserved two singel rooms. I might choose an other hotel next time I return to Thailand and Bangkok"

John said, "ard. The Zenith is located in the Sukhumvit area about 35 mins from airport.Lots to do and many good restaurants around. Many middle eastern people stay here and on this trip the hotel was fully booked with them.I found most of them to be rude and unfriendly but this was no fault of the hotel. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff very helpful and happy.Unfortunately I will not stay here again due to the problem outlined previously."
Claire said, "This was the second time I helpful. I would also say the breakfast here is really good - especially the hot waffles!"
RUI said, "Good location, 5 minutes walk from Nana Skytrain station. Pleasant rooms and good breakfast. I would recommend."
H. said, "The wife and I had a surgery appointment at the Bumrungrad. We and our teenage boy had the Hemingway Executive Room with an extra bed. We had it removed when we saw the size of the two regular beds. The room is rather nice but a little smaller than I thought but plenty adequate. The hotel is very nice and serves an excellent breakfast spread. The Bumrungrad Hospital is right behind the hotel so it is the place to stay if you do go to the hospital but not too convenient for anything else. However, it is not far from a train station if you don t mind walking through a lot of mess. The hotel customers seem to be mostly muslum type but they are curteous and well mannered and we much rather them than some of the sweaty overweight Europeans with the filthy outfits who probably would never dare to appear in public back in their country wearing and behaving the same. The muslums do need to dicipline their kids though because they seemed to be allowed to scream and run around and disturbing the peace in the hotel. The neighborhood is a muslum area so there are several good muslum restaurants if you are into it. We tried the Egyptian restaurant across from the hotel and it was OK. There are nice eatting places a few minutes walk up the street and turn right towards Soi 1 or 2. There are upscale hotels and buildings there with nice restaurants and food courts. Don t bother with the ones left on Sukhumvit especially the one on the ground floor at the corner of Soi-6 or 7. It ripped us off."
John said, "Hotel has excellent location near to the Sky Train (Nana Station)which gives easy access to the whole of Bangkok, Room had recently been refurbished and was well maintained & clean. Hotel has International feel with multi-national guests and a very strictly enforced door policy regarding unregistered guests (500 to 700 RHB). Breakfast was satisfactory and Hotel amenities were very good. Room renovations were ongoing but did not infringe of the guests, on the whole a very nice Hotel that spoils itself with it s insistence on intruding into personal affairs of guests"
Alan said, "Generally good.breakfast very good and staff always helpful and friendly.well located but beware of rip off from taxi and tuk tuks."
Don said, "Is a very nice hotel. enjoyed especially the breakfast and the pool was great. I would go and stay at this hotel again. It is a short distance to the skytrain."
Mr.Duncan said, "Have this time was given a renovated room. Very nice 4 star standard with modern bathroom. Staff very friendly and hotel is well situated for nightlife. Rooftop pool excellent."
Margaret said, "Yes, I indeed enjoyed the stay at the hotel very much, its newly renovated room is very spacious and have 2 very big beds on the twin sharing. Breakfast spread was good too. Location - outside hotel too many bars a little bit sleazy if a girl or two walking back to hotel late at nite otherwise everything is just fine not too far from Nana stn."
Mark said, "In the past I have enjoyed this hotel, on many occasions. But, the last couple of times I have friends complain about a door policy regarding guests, that is getting tougher, unless you do not mind a bt.500 charge on your bill. For Bangkok, this kind of policy is ridiculous, and unacceptable. For the same money, the Dynasty Inn Grand is a far better hotel, and mature about their guest policy."
John said, "top place to stay, not overpriced right amongst the action. Check out the pool on the top floor..well worth it."
Elena said, "this was an excellent hotel. the staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were really nice. highlights were 24 hour room service (great menu), a nice gym, and the rooftop pool. Also the location was great. Right near tons of shopping. Would definitely stay here again."
anonymous said, "On the last night of my stay, there was one big family (maybe two families) their 3-4 small children were frolicking around in the corridor with big noise just like they were playing in the playground and scattering some foods & drinks. Their parents just left them do it and never stopped them doing it. I complained to the Hotel Manager but he also did not do anything to stop them. I will never stay in this hotel again. Bad management, bad control of hotel guests."
Karin said, "The location of the hotel is close to Nana sky-trainstation. Perfect. The first room, non smoking, had a very nice view from the 15th floor, but we were not alone in the room. We had ants in the bedroom above the bed and in the bathroom. So we got another room on the 9th floor, in the smoking area. Then the ants were only in the bathroom. So we shower tube noise is so loudly, you can hear your neighbor room was using them. The security guy will charge you 500B happy fee when your friend or guest get into your room, no matter you book a single or double romm, They will not give you any imformation about this guest policy on their website or when you check in at receiption. Compare to the other hotel, I will stay this hotel again, so bye-bye Zenith......nerver see you again..."
berenice said, "Terrible. The rooms are shaby, old and dusty and do not look like the pictures on the website. We were forced to pay 1000 RMB which is half the price of the room for a baby cot. Absolutely outrageaous !! Plus the hotel management lied about the room during the reservation."
Julia said, "The best thing about the hotel was the pool on the roof, which was fantastic. The rooms were nothing special for the price and the ones we powerfull shower. The rooms were not as sound proof as they could have been though. The staff were all very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast selection was good, but the lunch/evening menu was a little over priced and didn t live up to expectations, although there are plenty of other restaurants near to the hotel. It s only five minutes walk from the sky train, which is a cheap and easy way to get around. It s easy to get a taxi or tuk tuk from outside too, although harder to get one back as it s on a one way street and the taxis always seem to aproach it from the wrong direction and then are reluctant to take you further than the end of the road. The hotel is located fairly close to Suan Lum night bazaar (next to Lumpini park), which is definately the best night market in the city. The road the hotel is on (Soi 3)doesn t have that much to offer for going out at night, but Soi 4 and the Sukumvit Road nearby have a good selection of resturants and clubs. We enjoyed our stay here, but probably wouldn t stay again as it wasn t good enough value for money."
Mr. said, "May be the best hotel in Bangkok. The best location if you need to go shopping and having fun in nightclubs. The rooms are clean and comfortable. As we asked extrabed was already in our room for our child when we came. So they were waiting for us-))The service is friendly. The pool on the top of the building is clean and viewpoint from this place is also cool. Wish they will make remark in the rules to let everybody swim at night also. It could be grate."
Andreas said, "Nice Stay with friendly staff.Hotel needs some renovation, but it is already in progress. I got a room in the Hemmingway Club. Clean and ok, but the bathroom is very oldSky Pool is the right place to relax, mabye a few Sunchairs would be great/ Andreas"
Reid said, "A good hotel for the price. Close to Skytrain. Room was clean and very good, nice buffet breakfast, good pool on the rooftop. Service was friendly and efficient."
Antron said, "I payed for the hemingway suite and it was well worth it. I didnt spend much time in the hotel except for sleeping, but the service from the staff was excellent. The room was big with a living area and two restrooms and shower. I would definitely stay there again if I stay in Bangkok. I saw other reviews of people being negative about the middle eastern people staying there and being from america,it sort of made me nervous but I was being ignorant and there were no problems and the people were very nice. I really think we need to stop the stereo types."
Jeff said, "No problem with stay, room a little tired and in need of a refurb, especially bathroom. Lots of noise from current work going on but OK at night (although banging starts quite early)fairly central just a 5 min walk to Nana sky trainstation."
Ron said, "This was my second stay in the Zenith Hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is prompt and friendly. Each reserved night comes with a wonderful breakfast. The pool on top of the building is refreshing and the view is amazing. There is a well stocked gym on the 4th floor. The location is perfect for someone who enjoys the color of the Thai culture and also close to the sky train Nana station so getting around Bangkok is no problem. I highly recommend the Zenith. A great value."
Peter said, "Paid 2250 bhat per night for a hemmingway room incl bkfast, excellent value (less than 100 New Zealand $). The room was very functional 3* to 4* standard, beds comfortable, good TV, work desk, armchair, fully stocked fridge etc. Hotel itself is modern & clean, rooftop pool is fantastic. There is a great view and the pool / spa itself is quite modern and very stylish. Restaurant very competent and a good breakfast included in price. Criticisms on this web site of the hotel mentioned that it is full of arabs. Not entirely true, but there are quite a few guests of arab appearance. I did not see this as a drawback as they all seemed to be quite civilised, quiet, reserved people. My only criticisms are i) the supposed wireless internet in the room is not true. What you get (hemmingway only) is a broadband modem ready for you to plug your laptop into. You then have to purchase your online time. However I can advise that if you purchase 3 hours worth and always make sure you log off with at least an hour remaining then the system seems to reset itself so that next time you log on you will have nearly 3 hours !!! criticism ii) the web site states they give hemmingway rooms late checkout until 4pm. They didn t want to give me late checkout (even though the room was not booked for the next night), in the end we negotiated a checkout of 2pm (only a couple of hours more than the normal checkout of 12pm). I don t know why the hotel does this bullshit marketing when their product is high quality and very good value anyway. On the whole I can highly recommend this hotel. Just one other thing, the service is very good, always friendly, prompt and efficient. The taxi to the hotel from the airport is around 350 baht. The hotel runs their own private car service which is 800 bhat, in my view worth it as you get a very nice comfortable vehicle."
