Very expensive - charged us 800 baht each for breakfast. The lobby is lovely, the breakfast great but the rooms are standard business rooms and could be anywhere in the world."

The pool on 8th is fine and the fitness-room had fine, new equipment and a stunning view. We were upgraded to executive, which needless to say was luxurious, clean and on the top (34th) floor with a fabulous view. (Very short) walking distance to market and at least 3 huge centres. Very kind and friendly personel - extremely nice to children! Fantastic breakfast-buffet - I still dream of it - and fine restaurants with ok food at a reasonable price. I would certainly recommend Amari Watergate to anyone visiting Bangkok for a shorter or longer time."

The location is ideal - very central and great for market shopping just seconds away. The hotel is on a main busy road but you cannot really avoid this in central Bangkok. Once inside hotel you would not know. The standard room was large but could do with a refresher. The room had no special feel to it and was basic, but clean and well equipped. The pool and gym were above average. Buffet breakfast was average but variety was good.Wouldnt rush back there but OK hotel."
