Hashem said, "We the food stalls outside hotel especially the Barbecue fish stall which comes to life in the evening is amazing and reasonable. Also the train station which is around the corner makes it easy to access the city. Overall you get what you pay for."
Adrian said, " three stops from Nana. If you want a budget hotel for a night or two, then it is worth it."
Espen, said, "You get what you pay for and my experience is that it was a nice hotel, but remember it is a cheap hotel. Clean bed, no shouting in the halls at night, nice night time clerk and short distance to skytrain."
steven said, "Air con is not so cold, i think fan room would have been just as good. Friendly staff, always smile."
Michael said, "Our experience at the Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn was generally positive. We housekeeping, were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that, upon first arrival, our room smelled strongly of tobacco smoke. But this smell went away quickly once we opened windows and eventually ran the AC. Other than that our room was clean, the shower was hot, the AC was cool and our bed was comfortable. Our mini-fridge was well stocked with snacks and beverages and the cost for these items was about 1/3rd of what you would pay at a 5-star hotel. Potential guests should come here with reasonable expectations. This isn t the J.W. Marriott (I ve the Thong Lor BTS station. It is convenient to many restaurants and services (including a shop on Thong Lor that sells the BEST sticky rice and mango in Bangkok (60 baht)). I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Bangkok."
Nicholas said, "Great staff, good location, great value, clean etc Why spend 300 USD at the Oriental!!!"
lucia said, "hotel much older than in the picture plus... had bed bugs! nothing more to say.... the answer of the reception was... sorry we are fully boked - if you have few hundreds bath to spend go into another hotel"
Robert said, "Hotel in good quite location staff very helpful food ok. Breakfast not bad but basic. Hotel is quite run down and in need of a bit of tlc and a cleaner with hot water (floors not very clean) With a bit of refurbishment would make al the difference However would be happy to stay again very good value."
Paul said, "I did not receive the room that I orginally booked online. Not very impressed with quality of the hotel or the location."
ALEXEY said, "Hotel is OK. Everything for me is OK, service is good. No lady charge that was good for me :) Sukhumvit road and Skytrain station is about 5-10 min walk. Reasonable prize. I ll stay here next time and will recomend to my friends."
Claude said, "OK, room in the basement had no window, but a nice decorated bed. This low budget place is the best value for money hotel in BKK. Very friendly staff, quiet location but close to Suk and BTS. Breakfast OK in a open-air-restaurant, not the usual boring A/C restaurant with buffet and BBC news on television. Will go back whenever I have to stay in BKK."
SHIH-CHIEH said, "The superior room is clean with a TV set , a window, and a working air conditioner. It also provides two bottles of drinking water for free and an electric water dispensing pot. The bathroom has only an electric boiler shower facility without a bathtub. Soap, shampoo and body lotions are provided. The people at the counter are nice. The included breakfast is ham and egg with a cup of tea. Walk 5 minutes to the BTS Thong Lo station. Very good for budget visitors except that a deposit of 500 bahts for the room key is required."
Chen said, "I don t think it s good enough for this staying. I felt a bit disappointed.first, the water pipe clogging.second, the attendant didn t carry my luggage so I did that to 5th floor.third, Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn didn t provide enough information for us. for example, I asked for a map of neighborhood, but they couldn t statisfy me this."
Guy said, "Arrived a day late, and left a day early, but the staff was helpful. Even when I came back a day after leaving for documents I had left in my room. The hotel is small and no elevator especially for the 3rd and 4th floors, but I always found that the cleaning had been done. It is idea as a place to see the rest of Bangkok, but it is not a place to stay at all day. It is close to the skytrain about 5 minutes walk, and there are many resteurants (Thai, Korean, and Japanese)in the area. I would have not problem staying here again in the future, especially on a lower floor:)"
Leah said, "I 4 nights. And we had 2 deluxe rooms at a very reasonable, within the budget price. The location is okay because it is very near MRT station. The rooms are also clean and comes with 2 complimentary bottled water everyday. I chose to stay here because I read good reviews and I must say that they are correct. If you are just looking for a place to stay without expecting 5-star hotel ammenities and accomodation Sawasdee Sukhumvit INN is a good choice. Since we are always out the whole day and we just stay at the hotel at night to sleep then there is no need for any extra requirement as long as we have a clean bathroom with hot water, a cool aircon , a bed to sleep soundly and a place to leave our things safely . It comes with a daily breakfast but dont expect too much because it is the same food everyday. A very plus factor for me is that they have internet at the lobby which has a very fast connection and at a reasonable price too. The staff are very friendly. Our flight came in very early and we were able to leave our baggage there and checked in later. But when coming from the airport, make sure that you tell the driver that it is the Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn and that you have seen the photo of the hotel at the internet so you would easily recognize the place because, we were initally brought to the Sukhumvit inn, then to the other Sawasdee (which are not pleasurable to the sight)but as a traveler we should know better."
Rauno said, "A nice and quiet hotel.Worth every bath I pay for it.Near skytrain.Good staff.Pleased with everything."
Lau said, "safe, clean, convience.only bad things is the shower water is too weak and not really hot."
Arto said, "For that price very good!"
Arto said, "ok hotel for that price."
Alexander said, "Good location, friendly staff.Bathroom could had been better, no information in advance that there might be now window in the room...."
Jason said, "This hotel will meet the needs of any traveler who is looking for a clean place to stay that is reasonably priced. The location is close to the sky train and only a few stops from the main shopping district, red light district, and one of the main night markets."
Matthew said, "Very basic hotel. Do not expect much. It is situated in a tiny laneway, not really close to main centre. Restauarant closed early, which was disappointing."
Martin said, "You get what you pay for, though no breakfast buffet as in the Sawasdee at Banglamphu. The bathroom was nice, but the standard room was without a window. It s not worth the extra bath to book a deluxe room. The only difference is that it comes with an unclosable window."
Wong said, "This budget hotel is better than what we expected. The hotel staffs are quite friedly and room is quite clean. The location is just 5 mins walking distance to Thong Lor BTS station. It is very convenient. Around 30 mins journey to Saphan Taksin where is the nearest BTS station to Chao Phraya river to take the boat for visiting fascinating temples along the river. Overall it is an ideal choice for backpacker who seeks for comfortable and low cost accomodation. Worth of it..."
Ciro said, "Hotel is good, clean and well located. The staff is helpful and nice the only problem is that if need to stay additional days they cannot offer the same rate as you booked but you need to book online even you are already at hotel."
D. said, "nice budget hotel. less than 10 min walk to Thonglo BTS stn. friendly and helpful staff. Not too much lighting in the room though, but not a problem."
Everlyn said, "The hotel is conveniently located about 5 mins walk from the Thong Lo BTS station. Rooms were clean, and this hotel is perfect for those who just need a bed and bathroom after a full day of shopping. The bed sheets and towel need to be changed though."
Jarod said, "Well, hidden in the back lane of a busy street make you feel quite and nice walk to the hotel. 3 minutes walkk to the nearest BTS Skyline Railway Statioin, Thong Lo make it so easy for you to move around and beside it is just 6 stations away from the Siam Center whereby all the happening places around. The service is nice and the people are friendly. Thumbs up!"
Jarod said, "Good! A hotel hidden behind a busy streets. Very near to BTS Thong Lo station. Friendly staff and make me miss Bangkok so much."
Peter said, "the only positive thing about this place is that it s at the end of the soi and quiet. Rooms grubby and even at the price overpriced. Manager was rude acording to thai mrs, give it a miss unless desperate. Quite a nice crowd staying there, looks nothing like as good as internet pics"
Adriaan said, "Nice hotel, everything yuo need to have in Bangkok. Close to the skytrain and the food is good"
Riikka said, "The hotel was a disaster. The room was small and dirty (was supposed to be a superior room), air-conditioning did not work (there was water coming through) and the reception gave no information on e.g. breakfast times, free water bottles etc. on the day of check-in. You had to ask about everything. In connection with check-out they tried to charge us for additional drinks. Basically nothing positive to say about the stay."
Wong said, "i m happy with the stay at the hotel. i like the rural enviroment very much. as we got to catch the flight back at 7am, the hotel helped us to get a taxi so that we didn t need to carry our big and heavy luggages out to the road. the staff are friendly n helpful. i believe they have provided us the best service."
Mats said, "Located at a peaceful quiet soi close to skytrain.Nice staff, very good value for money. On the negative side is only the stairs (no elevators) and a weak shower."
Pah said, "overall I m Ok with this hotel, 15 mins to Thong Lo BTS station, near night market so easy for food. Quiet place with simple and nice breakfast. good value for money although is quite far from town. Taxi-meter to airport is around 250 baht, including toll for expressway. Friendly receptionist who guided us how to visit place of interest. Thanks a lot."
Michal said, "The hotel is situated in a quiet Soi , however just two minutes from the Skytrain Thong Lo station. This we found very convenient. The hotel itself is clean with very friendly staff. We have would choose it again."
Thushantha said, "hotel staff s service is very good. but unavailability of a elivator is a major problem. as the hotel has 5 floors and i was given a room in fifth floor i had to use the stairwys several times a day, which was a very teadeous exersice."
