Andrew said, "Room was a suite (separate lounge and bedroom) which was clean and good value. Staff friendly. The only issue was that I thought the shuttle to Don Muang was complementary, I was advised it wasn t, charge was 200 baht, which went up to 300 baht because we had 4 bags! The airport is 5 minutes away so get a taxi from outside if you want to save money."

Britt said, "We only three children, and had booked two deluxe suites. Each suite consisted of a sitting room and two bedrooms, much more space than we needed for just one night. The rooms were clean and well equipped. For a family who plans to stay several nights in Bangkok this would be perfect."

William said, "I am a resident of Thailand and my wife is Thai. We have we will never use the place again. The mattress on our bed (It was a Bt2,600 suite)was so hard that we could not sleep so my wife decided to turn the mattress to see if that would make a difference. In the process she accidentally broke the bedside lamp and they created a huge carry on and insisted that we pay Bt3,500 for the lamp. Of course I refused and told them to use their insurance but they persisted. Finally I agreed to pay them Bt1,000. I then drove to Central shopping centre and priced the same lamp at Bt1,500. I was so angry that they had told me lies about the cost of the lamp.I consider this to be an absolute disgrace. I travel constantly and have never experienced such treatment as a hotel guest before. Be careful."

ANG said, "This hotel had seen better times. But the suites are huge and they only had king-sized beds, even for twin rooms. Good for families on holiday. Difficult to find, which translates into difficulty in getting taxis. The good thing is the taxis that you then manage to flag down would use the meters. The breakfast was ok, even though there were only 2 families in the cafe."

Kimberly said, "A bit dated but clean and comfortable. Staff excellent, free upgrades to deluxe suite and buffet brekkie. Not really close to anything but Don Muang. Hotel will arrange shuttle to markets, etc. Taxi s plentiful. A night market sets up next door with great food stalls. Be sure to have a printout with directions for taxi from BKK. 350 Baht inc tolls. Great hotel to overnight before/after a domestic flight."

Alan said, "As we only served a better than average meal. Breakfast was more than adequate, eggs freshly cooked (to order) and bacon hot with cereal beforehand and fruit to follow (or vice versa if you wish). Our room was upgraded from a junior suite to a senior suite, I guess, as the bedroom had two king sized beds and the adjoining room had space to spare. We had no need for a room with other than a queen sized bed after a long haul flight from Australia. I think the hotel is grappling with the shift of International Airlines to te new Airport which is 45 km (30 miles) away.It was attractive for us as we had a morning flight leaving from Don Mueang Airport.In the same circumstances we would be happy to use the facilities again. Its location makes it less convenient if your intent is to viit the attractions of Bangkok. This is not, of course, the fault of the hotel nor its staff.Alan Downingalandowning@aapt.net.au"

H said, "Rooms are very well maintained and spacious. Staff is also courteuos and polite. As is known, the hotel is near the old airport (which is not in use) and away (30 to 40 mins)from the main tourist areas. Good experience overall."

Valorie said, "The room was large and clean, and I did get a non-smoking room as requested. Very close to the airport and great for a one-night stay."

ESJ said, "This place is depressing and needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and the shuttle to the airport was quite late and disorganized as there were too many people for too few seats. I only e was booked, but next time will book the Grande earlier or just stay downtown. AVOID THIS PLACE."

Very good (included) breakfast buffet. 2 minutes to fun IT Plaza (prev Laksi Plaza) shopping mall, inexpensivemassage and mini night-marketacross the street, Laksi Templea few blocks away, easy access into Bangkok from the freeway."

Le said, "Very difficult to find for a taxi from Bangkok, even with the website map(ours charged us more as a consequence). Very big room and amazing breakfast. Just a problem finding our room again after breakfast because there are two aisles with 2 different lifts. We definitely recommend it for a night near the airport because it is very quiet and service is good quality (luggage carried to room...)."

Meshelle said, "This hotel was in a great location to the airport. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The rooms were fantastic, very big and the beds were really comfortable. we had a seperate bedroom and the lounge area was lovely. Would definately recommend and will return here on the night before our flight home."

John said, "We an excellent breakfast spread. However, on both stays, the promised pick-up car never materialised until we contacted the hotel by telephone. It then takes only 15 minutes for the van to arrive. I would recommend phoning the hotel while in the baggage hall and establish a specific meeting point (e.g. Information desk). The hotel staff speak good English."

corinne said, "Ideal for overnight, turn right when you get out of customs for the pick up service. Clean air con. big rooms and as we had a 3.00pm flight to Krabi, the pool was a great relaxer to kill time. Late check out was no prob. Definitely use this hotel again, not to mention the breakfast spread (fantastic) which catered for all and in a pleasant garden setting. You wouldn t think you were so close to the airport."

Koenitzer said, "Good choice if you have just a short overnight in Bangkok. It was difficult to find a taxi which took you from the airport to the hotel. After 3 trys we found one who took us in a Meter Taxi.The hotel is only about 10 Minutes from the airport away in a very quiet area. The taxi driver had a hard time to find it. But thanks to the very good plan on the internet-page of the hotel we found it. Taxi-Fare was BHT 75.-- . They have as well a hourly shuttle bus, but we didn t wanted to wait or search for this bus.The room we got in the hotel was enourmous. 2 adults and 1 child we got a big family room with 3 kingsize bed,and one seperat room with sofa, eatingtable and refrigirator. Very good for families. The food in the Thai-Restaurant of the hotel was good.Next morning we took the complentary shuttle but back to the airport.We do recomand this hotel because it was very quiet (no airplane noise at all) and still close to the airport."

Betsy said, "I was very impressed by this hotel. I expected it to be more of a mid-range accomodation. Staff were professional and friendly. My room was enormous and clean. There was internet access, a pool and an exercise room available. Plus, since my flight out was at 6:00 a.m., the convenience of being close the airport was wonderful. I ve already suggested it to friends."

Lili said, "The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We booked a junior suite but it got upgrade to a deluxe suite. Unfortunately the air cond in the master room was broken and the sink in the bathroom had a leak. Otherwise the restaurant was quite good too. I will probabaly stay there again."

Robert said, "Our 2 bedroom suite was available on arrival,however, it was equiped for only 2 people.Reservation was for 4 people ,number (4) was confirmed at check in. It took several calls to get everything stocked.The rooms were clean and comfortable with a little mold seen on one wall.Food was great /transfer to airport on time."

Dana said, "Okay for price and it is convenient to the airport. The rooms are large, but they are not being well maintained, probably because international flights will move to the new airport this year. The staff is only average in their interest in doing their job."

Yvan said, "There was no pick up at the airport although it was promised. Had to call the hotel from a booth and beg. Arrogant man at reception dismissed the complaint and said they were busy. Likewise, the so-called airport drop off is in fact an hourly bus, which is much less convenient that what is advertized / promised. Bad for a airport hotel. Arrogant, unhelpful staff at the reception."

Thomas said, "I was disappointed to find the hotel overbooked when I arrived. It was very late at night and I had to go to another hotel, even though my room was already reserved and paid for.The other hotel was nearby, but it was still bothersome to have to be transferred to another place."

David said, "Fine hotel and met the purpose of a late night stopover. The transfer was smooth, rooms clean and simple, and breakfast good as well. It was my first time in Bangkok and this hotel did its purpose for stopover. It is close to the airport but far enough so you are not disturbed by air traffic."

Andrew said, "Functional establishmentFood and beverages very expensive by prevailing standards, but happily a wealth of service alternatives are available immmedaitely offsite.After one hours waiting in vain for a pickup at the airport at the advised location, with considerable badgering I was advised to take a taxi which the hotel then reimbursed.The hotel driver does not possess a wrist watch and the return journey also required an intervention to achieve timely delivery."

Alec said, "Good value (2200 baht)...good room near airport. I was surprised with how big the room was (more like a big one bedroom apartment)! The hotel is off the beaten path so it was quiet. I took a taxi from the airport and overpaid at 200 baht (still only $5 US and faster) because I didn t want to wait for the shuttle. You can find eager taxis without the wait at arrivals . I took the hotel shuttle back to the airport though. The breakfast was fine. Not where I d base my vacation but for a pre/post flight overnight it was much nicer than I d expected. A/C worked fine. I ve spent over 100 hotel nights in thailand this year...this hotel is fine for its purpose."

Jean-Pierre said, "Even if there was a delay of over 2 hours with my flight, people from the hotel were waiting for me at the airport.At midnight, after a long flight it is important to rely on people that will be there to help you. The hotel has age but is very clean and the staff will be behind you to answer any request. The price is good and within a few minutes from the airport."

Nothing special, look at earlier posts. one thing, it s easier to get a cab to the hotel and take their shuttle back. some people waited over 2 hours to take the hotel shuttle to the hotel. Taxi cost about 200 BHT .... if the meter is broken"

Kaooni said, "Hotel was not what was pictured on the web. Maybe photos are from when the place opened, more than 10 years prior? Can t say I hated the place. The adjoining bedroom in the suite would be perfect for a porn shoot: well-lit, large, mirrors on the armoire doors, 2 decent-sized double beds, nice-sized tub. Cheezy tile on the floor, but furnishings were decent for Thailand (3 star quality in Thailand is not as good as it is back home). Seemed a bit spendy for a night in Bangkok in a 3-star, but it also included a very early-morning drop off at the airport, which was necessary, since the hotel is not located on a major street with taxis and it s too far to walk in the middle of the night/early morning. One complaint: room was on 4th floor, near the swimming pool and it was considerably loud as windows were left open all over the hotel. Internet pictures need updating, but this is still an okay place to stay on the night before your flight out."

Peter said, "This hotel is within 10 minutes from and provides shuttle service to the Airport. It is a very nice hotel, but they need to keep up the maintenance. The suites were large enough but musty. Nice pool and new exercise equipment."

Thomas said, "This was quite possibly the filthiest and dirtiest hotel I have ever the smell was awful. It was such a mess that I slept in my clothes for fear of catching something. Thank God it was only for one night on a layover in Bangkok. I would never return or reccommend this place to anyone I know."
