David said, "I have of downtown. This is a perfectly comfortable hotel which probably could do with a bit of updating as it is now a little old fashioned and a bit ragged on the edges. I find the slightly older hotels have a bit more charm. The breakfast, which is included is very simple and if I have a complaint it is that they do not have something simlple like cornflakes, and I always miss fresh milk. The manager on the front desk Khun Sompong is absolutely delightful and very helpful. Never use the taxi outside, just walk the 50 meters to the main road."
Frank said, "Cheap and good location for shopping.Room Cleaning works fine.Poor breakfast, very small room, aircon blows on bed, furniture looks very old."
Eunice said, "Although the hotel has a wonderful and open lobby, the rooms are cramped and small. The walls are VERY thin and it could use some paint along with the curtains needing to be washed. That said, I saw only 1 bug and got some much needed sleep. It is an alright room for the price I paid ($29.00 usd) per night but it is not worth more than that. The breakfast in the morning is so-so and is included. There are other places in the city to stay in that same price range that are much better but in the end... I would stay there again if my favorite spots were booked."
TONG said, "I will not recommend anyone to staty in thie Hotel. A-The bed sheet has many stings. B-The White Towel has turned grey. C-It s defintely not near the BTS, it takes at least 25 mins to walk from hotel to BTS. D-There is a construction site just next to the hotel, and they work from 8:15am to 5:00pm everyday. Youu don t even need a morning call or alarm to wake you up cause the site will do so. E-The wall is pretty thin, I could hear people next room snoring everynight. After all, some staff are nice, some just so so.....and the breakfast is simple but OK. With this budget, there are still many better choices than this one."
Rio said, "I arrived at the hotel at 4.30am, good thing is I can have an early check-in for just THB500 only. Then late check out is only THB400 til 5pm. The room is clean although a bit small, it doen st matter to me coz most of the day I m out for shopping. Just come back to my room to sleep..then shopping again :-) The receptionist are friendly and helpful. Then easy access to cheap shopping. Just one comment, I e-mailed them before coming to the hotel to make some request and ask a few questions but i never get a reply from the reservation staff. But overall, I will certainly come back to this hotel."
JM said, "The reception area is very nice, however you cannot use the phone to call internationally-you need to go outside and use the payphone by the 7-11. The room and the washroom is quite small, however the airconditioning works great. We found two bugs in our room. The hotel has this tours office which is run by a man named Ben. He is a wonderful, kind man and will take you around to see places and markets for so cheap. We even booked a ride with him to the airport and he charged us only 500bhat, whereas Sawadee charged us 1000bhat from the airport to the hotel."
Legeret said, "hotel bien placé petite chambre mais propre (dommage qu il y avait des travaux dans le bâtiment d à côté, marteau piqueur a 7h00 le matin) mais à part ça très bien"
Carradori said, "i was expected worst reading the comments of the others travellers, i did not decided to stay to pci. i was in room 508, very clean, good bed, bathroom small but ok for one guest. breakfast a bit poor compare to others hotels i have been. the staffs are very nice and helpfull. good quality price."
Thomas said, "résumé: - we will visit this hotel no more!- bad breakfast- bad room"
Sinead said, "Very comfortable bed, room and bathroom spotless. Sat TV and air con in standard room, very good value. Was our second time there and when in Bangkok again will return here."
Leng said, "We would not recommend PCI. Room was dark and bath towels had bad smell and somewhat greyish. Breakfast choice was only limited to ABF (meansly looking one) or congee.Once I was late to join my friend at breakfast by 10 mins (Bkft served till 10am) , I chose not to have my bkfst (alsready for the 2nd time) and only poured myself a cup of tea from a common teapot at the self serving table, they charged me 59 bahts. I am very disappointed at e unhospitable way they treat their guests. The tea was not spcially brewed for me nor served to me yet they insisted a pay for the small teacup of tea. A kit of pkts of coffee & tea bags cost 50 baht in the rm. I do not understand their logic and they came across as very cut & dry, not friendly at all. 2nd day before my departure, I suffered from a swollen foot and hotel could not find anyone (though many were sitting around in the cafe) to walk 100 meters to the nearest drug store to help me buy medication. As a result I had to hobble 45 mins in excruciating pain to the drug store. My experience at PCI left a sour taste in the mouth and havg said, "I booked the triple room for 2 adults and 2 young kids. The room is very small and hardly space can walk around in the room without banging into something. Toilet is worst, the space from sitting on the toilet bowl is just enough for leg room. There is a shower area, but any attempt to move about to scrub yourself will get hit on the elbows to the walls.Location is bad, nothing in the area. The whole area near hotel surrounding is run-down and desserted buildings. Taxis don t even know the place although the hotel provides notes to taxi of their location. A totally bad experience. Will not recommend anyone to stay there. Neither will I be back."
Michael said, "Very central location clean and friendly staff great value for money - I will use them again-breakfast a little plain- very happy overall"
Helen said, "PLEASE change the mattress!!Its so springy, lumpy and very used.Smells damp too.Feels like the springs are worn out because when u sit on it u kinda sink to the bottom with lumps of damp cotton balls trying to hold u up.Imagine two person sleeping on it,a queen size mattress....the spring is so worn out that with 2 body weight we kinda roll to the middle. Its pretty bad, luckily we get so tired from all the shopping nearby we just passed out every night.Dont bother trying to have any fun on it,its too unpredictable.Might loose your balance.Haha.We strong mattress for my sleep. The room and bath are pretty small but its the norm these days. Its a good location,in a quiet lane away from the noise of the traffic. The staff mostly speaks English and very helpful. Its a small hotel renovated from an old apartment so dont expect too much.TV in room only have Thai channels.Breakfast is pretty good. They also make up and change the towels daily.Free bottled water.Dont use the massage parlour next door as its VERY pricey and not that great.Take a 7min walk further down for value for money massages.Theres a very good exchange down the same street, best price in BKK.A 24 hours convenience store 5 mins away.Lots of delicous food stalls where the locals eat nearby.I visit Bangkok about 3 times a year. This is the first time i it is pretty decent except for the old mattresses.Again,Please change them."
SIRAJUDDIN said, "The room is small but clean. The Hotel is situated on a quite soi, nothing to do there at nite. Adviseable to print the hotel map and show it to the taxi / tuk-tuk drivers since most of them have difficulties finding the hotel. Walking distance to shopping places. A litte bit far from Chit Lom skytrain station. Services are good, receptionist are helpful but breakfast can be better. I find the price to be value for money."
Anthony said, "To say that we booked a delux room I cannot say what was delux about it. It appeared to be a room which had been cut into two by a dividing wall. It was certainly what we were expecting in respect of space, not enough room to swing a cat!"

George said, "It was a very good seven days stay at the hotel. I travel to Bangkok often and I find this the best of the budget hotels I ve tried so far. It is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is good (Pratunam Center, Platinum Fashion Mall, shopping complexes around Baiyoke area, etc are all within walking distance). Although well-located, taxi drivers seem unsure of how to get into the small road (Soi 33, off Petchaburi Rd) where the hotel is. As vehicle can t turn into Soi 33 from Petchaburi road, instruct the driver to turn into the next lane, Soi 35, drive all the way to the end and U-turn back into Soi 33."
K.T said, "Location wise...unless you know the way quite well, coz sometimes even tuk tuk and taxi might not know where is it. Long way to Chit Lom skytrain, but the reception/staff is good quite helpful. Size wise its small, hence pics are deceiving...but its clean. I booked a deluxe double/twin but it really disappointed me coz it dont look deluxe and its not even carpeted. Afterall, its budget...value for money~"
Liezl said, "The hotel s nice but taxis can t find it bec. it s new so be sure to get their calling card when you go out.Rooms are clean although it s a little bit small. It s near malls so u wouldn t have a hard time finding something some place to eat or shop."
Janet said, "The hotel is not good.lt s not look like a hotel and the picture on web-site. Small rooms like Paris but very old.l will never stay here again."
Pah said, "Value for money, although the room is a bit small (standard room) but is clean and quiet, hotel with lift and all basic facilities. easy to get a meter-taxi, need around 250 baht for transport from/to airport. breakfast provided with option for american or chicken/pork porridge. nice lobby with aircon and simple decoration. strategic location, near to Siam Paragon and all shopping complex, Erawan shine... etc... recommended."
Kavita said, "This hotel is new, so taxi drivers may not necessarily know it. The staff were really helpful and nice, even when I did not have my booking info from Sawadee on arrival. It was excellent value for downtown Bangkok and for 7ooBht, I had a lovely aircon room with hot shower, complimentary toiletries, TV, fridge and tea making facilities. Compare this with the nearby D ma hotel where I paid more than twice the price for 1 night with no fridge or tea making facility and sourfaced staff. When I left the hotel to go to Koh Phangan for a week, the hotel kindly kept my luggage even though I had not booked a room as yet for my return. The hotel is also strategically placed for the nearby Pratunam shopping area and Indra Square. Around the hotel, everything was accessible, great choice of places to eat, and it did not seem too overun with tourists. If you don t mind not having a gym or swimming pool, this is an excellent bargain if you are staying in Bangkok."
Hatthayar said, "The Hotel is ok, clean, tidy, the room is small ,like myself is a great, near all of majer shopping area, accommadation and good price, we all happy and will come back to stay here again, hatthayar from perth, australia"
