Tan said, "All is fine except the room has a unpleasant smell,Maybe the airconditioning needs servicing.The shower unit is for short people as the water from the shower head will shoot directly at your ear if you are around 5ft 11in tall so becareful when taking shower.Waiter in the restaurant do not smile or greet you in the morning. But happy to if you are a White man or Farlang and make sure you get a good window seat and even tell others Asian that the seat is taken even before the farlang has ask for it. Found a 12 inches long hair on the food tong during breakfast and told the cook about it he thank me and change the tong quickly.Well I guest is surely good srvices for Farlang......The Spa charge THB 650 for a 1 hr thai massage compare to THB 139 1 hr for a normal Thai Massage centre. So for that is just too much to pay.Only thing nice is location, for a budget hotel.....hope they accept this commend and improve on it then it will be a wonderful place to stay...thank you"

Pierluigi said, "The hotel is quite close to skytrain (about 20-25mins walk) and shopping centers/malls (Siam Paragon, Central Chidlom, Central World and so on). It may happens that you need to wait to have breakfast when there are many guests, as there are not enough places to sit. Breakfast is good with big choice. We had problem with ants on a room we booked, Reception told us they will clean it but they didn t after we came back to room, so they gave us a room with separate bed (one night) then they changed again to one with double (as originally booked). The last room was more nice because freshly repainted in clear colors (not dark like the first one). Otherwise they were friendly and nice."

Adrian said, "Location ideal for Pratunam Market and only a 5 min walk to Pantip Plaza, Pratunam Complex and Baiyoke Tower.Hotel is very clean, service was excellent - the staff are very good.check-in and out was simple and quick.Breakfast is excellent and always Hot and a good selection.Several Free Wifi if you search :-)Only down side for us was the hotel is not that close to the BTS skytrain or MRT station, but plenty of Taxi s and Tuk Tuk near entrance to the hotel.Hotel is slightly difficult to find, but road is opposite the Indra Regent Hotel - make sure Taxi s and Tuk Tuk don t take you to the Amari Watergate which is in the vicinity and better known."

Room was ok for the price, breakfast was to our satisfaction, though I had expected a bit more to choose from. For a single night, I can stay there again."

Aaron said, "The only downside is that the hotel is located on a street that even the taxi drivers have difficulty finding. Out of the 5 taxi trips I took back to the hotel, I had to direct 4 of them to the hotel. I would suggest printing the Thai address of the hotel to show to the taxi driver.That aside, the hotel was really lovely. The hotel staff were really friendly, and checking in was of no hassle. Reading the other reviews on PJ Watergate on ground floor rooms being not as good, I asked straight away for a room on the second or third floor. The room was clean, nice and relatively spacious.I got an even numbered room where the window view was the beer garden. The odd numbered rooms window appears to be facing a wall, so depending on your luck, you might not get a nice window view.Breakfast was good, with a relatively good spread of food and nice ambience. In terms of value for money, this hotel gets two thumbs up from me. I ve tried other cheap hotels and so far, PJ Watergate comes out tops for great service and facilities for a low price. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Bangkok next time."

Jose said, "Our experience at the PJ Watergate Hotel was very disappointing considering the lack of cleanliness of the room. On top of that, this hotel clearly demands for refurbishment work that for sure must include the removal of carpets.We also think the interior rooms, with no windows, should be deemed storage and not guest rooms - in saying that the rooms that do have windows are just a meter from the nearest building...Not an experience to repeat!!"

Camilla said, "The PJ Watergate is a very nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The nicest hotel staff we met during our three week stay in Thailand. Our room was good, but the view was very bad - we we looking right into a wall. That was the only minus however. The morning buffet was tasty. Also, the hotel i situated in a quiet alley, and there is good security - so it s safe and quiet. We can definately recommend staying here."

Kevin said, "We were checked into a ground floor room 315. the sewer smell came up through every drain and was disgusting. We changed to an upstairs room which was good although initially staff were reluctant to move us to another room. After that the service was good, gym was good. Don t stay on the ground floor"

Ewa said, "The hotel is near to shopping which is good. We had to change room because of the smell. Take out the carpets and have non-smoking room. We will absolut visit Bangkok again but not this hotel."

Mrs said, "It s a nice hotel although it s located in the alley. The room is clean, service was ok. You d better prepare/reserve for taxi 1 day before cause they only have limited standby taxi for all guests, and it s quite difficult to find an empty taxi there. Maybe because the hotel is new, almost every taxi drivers didn t know the place, so you d better bring hotel s namecard in order to inform them due to their poor english."

Bob said, "It was a pleasure to find this gem of a hotel. It is a back alley but right next to the Pan Tip Plaza and plenty of shopping.The Hotel is new and they are still working on it. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. This is unlike most other hotels in Thailand that are not maintained to standards.I highly recommend this hotel."
