Majestic Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok

Hershel said, "The Hotel itself was very nice,clean and well furnished. The reception staff was very very friendly and helpful. We it was very comfortable and well furnished as well. My only complaint was that the Sattelite TV was not working and I was told that it was being worked on by Engineering. The problem was never fixed even though I was told it would be, and no apparent attempts to fix the situation were being done. This is pretty minor except that i do like to keep in touch with the world news and I dont not understand Thai TV. The breakfast food was good although the dinner food was not good. Eat at a local restaurant for great seafood !! All in all a good place I would recommend it."

Ronald said, "Initially the room had only two single beds, but the reception was very helpful to change the next day to a double bed. Buffet for only 200 baht.We both enjoyed it, free tuktuk to Nana Station, peaceful, clean, good value for money, would come again.When one of the taxi drivers ask you for a tour, ask for Frankie, he was good too."

Onlt negative is the use of the internet is not free as with some of the other hotels of equal quality that I have said, "What a breatfast! Best in Thailand! Great hotel great location. Go for the lunch and evening seafood buffet as well.Proffessional staff with excellent housekeeping."

mr said, "Lovely hotel,clean / complimentary welcome drink beer or cocktail etc nice sauna/ steam / plunge pool area. Very friendly staff, good location, places to eat/mcdonalds/japanese. couple of stops to World Trade Centre etc we walked and got tut tut back (quite an experience in the traffic!) The breakfast was a bit of a dissapointment, lots of food but strange things ie lasagne / chicken curry?? but generally good food. Will definatley stay again, but think it will become very popular and have to book early!!"

Johan said, "Hotel was really great with friendly staff, super breakfast and very nice pool area with jacuzzi and sauna. Even the gym was good. The only downside I can think of was that the room was smaller than expected but for the price it was still a bargain."

Food was awesome, breakfast buffet everymorning with great selection and a seafood BBq for dinner. Definately would stay here again, close to train station, Taxis are available but not very reliable."

I was afriad the room s were not going to be the same as the picture s. My room was the same as in the photo s on there web site.Location is very close to the nite life, From the main entrance of the hotel, About a block length away and you are there. I do not have anything bad to say about the hotel, And like i said, I will be returing again, And i will be staying there again, No queston about."

Keith said, "Beautiful hotel, great location. It s in a very multi-cultural area, though enough off the main street that it s pretty quiet. The rooms are spacious and beautifully adorned. The only drawback was that the concierge will be the first to rip you off: he directed us to a boat tour of bangkok that costs $50 US, was supposed to last 2 hours...but instead it took only 45 minutes and the lady driving the boat actually ditched us on one side of the river! Who knew the concierge could be the scam artist!"

Tom said, "This is what I would call a basic tourist hotel...plain, simple, nothing to rave about but then not much to complain about either...if you are looking for charm and ambience this is not it...if it is location to shopping, walking, sky train then this has it...I would not chose it again as there are too many hotels in the area that can give you both..."

Reube said, "A fantastic boutique hotel!! Rooms are new and modern and the staff are always smiley and attentive to our needs. Walk to the train station could be a relatively far though, which I timed to be approx 10min.Overall, I had a great stay at MG and I am sure I will be back again!"

Fredrik said, "A very nice hotel with a good location. We had a Grande Premier (I think) room on the 21st (executive) floor and the view was great! Room was spacious with nice furnishing, it had an electronic safe, large Sony TV, about 30 channels, good a/c, keycard access, nice bathroom with tub and shower cabin. Breakfast was on 7th floor and nice, fresh juice, fresh fruit, hot and cold dishes, however, employees seemed a little stressed, bringing plates off the table in a hurry. Nana BTS train station is 7-8 minutes walk from the hotel. The walkway is busy so you never felt unsecure, however it can be kind of crowded at night times. Hotel staff was alway nice. Rooms felt very new and I would think this hotel is GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY! Highly recommended!"

Miss said, "Majestic Grande is in a great location on Sukhumvit but also tucked down a side street so away from all the noise, easy access to the BTR - Nana 5 mins walk and also taxis just outside the door. The service and the standard of rooms is also excellent - i would not have second thoughts on revisiting the Majestic again - we used the tailors also who were excellant also."
