Peter said, "I have been regularly travelling to Bangkok for over 15 years and have normally kept at a very good standard. It is located in an area off the normal tourist track but that is no real problem as all areas of Bangkok can be easily accessed by public transport and taxi. The quality and quantities of the fare presented at the buffet breakfast and on the room service menu was particularly worthy of note. This can also be said of the staff;it was noticeable that real effort was exercised by the staff to make the guest experience enjoyable and memorable.I was entirely satisfied with the Royal Princess product and think it is good value for money and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone."

Leo said, "the location of the hotel is quite good, it is a very short ride to major attractions in the city, such as Grand Palace and Kao San Rd. it is difficult to hail a taxi when you walks out by yourself there, so when go out it is better to ask the front desk for help. The hotel room is very comfortable and spacious, very clean. however, if you stay in a room facing the major street, the traffic noise will keep you awake most of the night, the major reason is that the glass sliding door to the balcony has only one layer of glass which is not good enough as a double layer,insulated glass door for sound proofing. so when checking in, be sure to ask a room facing swimming pool which will enable you a quite night. the hotel staff are well trained and very nice. The service quality is very approapriate to the price it charges."

Etienne said, "this place is excelent if you are looking for a quite and friendly place in bangkok for a your stay. staff at the reception is giving you a warm welcome and friendly help, rooms are very clean, large, room service is perfect, breakfast is good, pool is a great place to swim in the morning or spent some spare time in the afternoon. it is good to book a room that faces the pool (and not the noisy street-side). great value."

Tina said, "This is a very nice hotel and a very good location. The room is clean, and the service at the reception is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, and the pool is perfect in the middle of Bangkok. Great value for money. We once last year. Will definately return once in Bangkok."

Nice swimmingpool - but no-one else were swimming...... A little minus for our room. The chairs could be better to relax in... and the bathroom was a little old fashion. But we would sure like to visit Royal Princess again!!!"

Carl said, "Let me start out by saying this hotel is not nearly as nice as it looks. It is, at best, a 3 star facility. While the staff is polite and competent, the hotel itself is very tired and in dire need of remodeling. The carpet in the lobby is dirty, though the outside was getting a coat of paint while I was there. The phone in my room s bathroom was hanging by its wire, there was mold in the shower/tub, and the plumbing is ancient. Nothing about this hotel made me want to return. The balcony overlooks dirty tenaments next door, completely killing an atmosphere it may have otherwise had. There was not even a bedspread on the bed. Don t let the photos on this website fool you. It s just not that nice. That being said, a deluxe room would be a decent buy at $30 US per night, but not more."

Julie said, "A little more expensive than a hostel, but if this hotel is within your budget I would highly recommend a stay here. The service and facilities are excellent, as is the location. At the time of our visit, the hotel was also offering a free bus service to Patpong. Affordable air-conditioned sanctuary from the madness of Bangkok. Great for first-time visitors to the city."

ASHLEY said, "The hotel was very good. The rooms were clean and a very good size. Hotel was smart throughout and the staff were very attentive. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, a superb choice. The on site restaurants were equally as good, be careful though if you order a set menu at the Japanese restaurant, they are huge! Location of the hotel is closer to the temples than the shopping district."

Paul said, "Hotel was fine. I got in very late at night and was picked up early the next day for a tour, so it was really just a stop over for me. I found the hotel to have a nice lobby area, the room was big. (I believe it was a Deluxe.) I ended up having 2 reservations somehow, and it seemed they happened to conveniently cancel the one that was at a cheaper (Internet) rate for me. If you happen to go for only after hours (in the middle of the night), there is very little open around the hotel, except for a 7-Eleven or two."

Paul said, "Very pleasant hotel in calm garden cul-de-sac not far from Rattanakosin and old city. Ideal oasis from bustle of Bangkok. Airy spacious rooms, ours overlooked pool and garden; good buffet breakfast; staff friendly.One slight warning: Larn Luang road, the main road it s near, is deceptive -five lanes, you think it s one-way, but there s one bus lane coming the other way - so careful crossing. There s a pedestrian bridge about 100 yds away."
