Paul said, "Excellent hotel in a good location.I would highly recomend this hotel."
Robert said, "A good hotel for the price. Clean rooms, well serviced. Great brakfast selection. Good location, especially if you are shopping. Adequate facilities, pool, gym, etc. Downsides: as always a couple of staff who need customer service training let it down for the majority, asking Baht800 for a taxi to the airport, I hailed a metered taxi & paid Baht180. Overall value for money 9/10."
Mr said, "We 2 kids) at the Indra Regent hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very polite and helpful and the majority spoke english. The Breakfast was excellent. Very close to the market and shops. We had direct access to the shopping arcade from the lobby and the prices were very reasonable. My kids really enjoyed the stay and I have no hesitation to come back to this hotel again."
Peter said, "Very good Hotel. A clean and comfortable place for a reasonable price, in the center of Prathunam a shoping paradise. Everything in walking distance. Very friendly staff, will stay here again."
Tan said, "Love the beds! Their double beds are so huge that 3 can sleep in it comfortably. Breakfast is not fantastic - same simple menu for all days. Location is ok only. thought will be nearer to platinum mall but turns out after to be quite far (10mins) as need to walk about 2 overhead bridges as the roads does not have direct pedestrian crossing. opposite the road has many cheap and good massage parlours!!"
Sam said, "Good Clean hotel, very convenient for shopping - specially for clothes and Electronics. Decent breakfast and courteous service. Good value for the money."
Stefan said, "It was OK"
Linda said, "Have I still like it, even after the lady in reception tried to charge us 200 bht for a map that we didnt take from the room. The location is great for shopping and the hotell-rooms are clean (we had 2 of them this time). We will probably be back next January."
Sandra said, "A very nice hotel. A bit busy at the reception desk but overall friendly staff. The rooms we had booked were all unavaliable so they upgraded our rooms with no extra charge. The breakfast was very nice. The best thing about this hotel is its central location. In connection to the hotel was a small shopping mall and the side way market is just outside the hotel doors. If you like technical gadgets the Pantip Plaza is just a few minutes away. I will stay at this hotel the next time I visit Bangkok."
Thomas said, "We ard and service. Only remark is the welcome drink , it didn t taste good..."
Christer said, "As always very good, nice and clean, including helpful staff and the hotel is well situated for shopping and sightseeing. Value for money"
Christer said, "Always nice and clean. Right in the middle of a hectic shopping area. The staff is helpful and efficient. I recommend this hotel, value for money. Do not forget the nice coffe shop in the corner very good coffe"
bernard said, "AFTER 12 DAYS IN THAILAND WE SPENT THE LAST 4 DAYS HERE.GREAT HOTEL,CLEAN&WITH FREINDLY STAFF.IF YOU ARE A SHOPPERHOLIC LIKE US THIS IS YOUR HOTEL.COULD NOT FAULT SERVICEOR AMENITIES.WOULD COME BACK."
libson said, "We have now are very happy with their service and staff as well as the position. Next stay in Bangkok will again be with the Indra Regent Hotel."
Linda said, "This was my second time staying at the Indra.Only because my preferred hotel was fully booked. The positive is that the hotel is in a perfect location for shopping right on your doorstep and I noted a big improvement on the breakfast dining facilities and food presentation and choice - all good! the disspaointment was having to endure 3 days of constant hammering as it appeared they were doing maintenance on and above our floor, it would have been curteous if Management left a note to say what was happening and apologise for the inconvienance, but nothing of a sort! and my second gripe was that housekeeping leaves much to be desired - this hotel needs to brush up on their housekeepers who still had not made up our room by 3.30pm. I dont think I saw a mop once or a duster being used. Nevertheless as this was my 15th visit to Thailand I still had a great time. I would recomend this hotel - and I guess I would stay again as a second choice in hotel."
Maria said, "Hotel was clean comfortable and located in the heart of a bustling city. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was excellent, great water pressure, clean and well maintained. Buffet Breakfast offered a huge array of choice and the freshly made omletes made by the CHEF (kobkun Ka chef) were fabulous!!! The only concern we had whilst staying at the Indra was that of the Safe in our room. The safe appeared to have a mind of its own and in the end we were forced to secure our valuables in our own luggage, probably not overly secure. I believe Safes not working is a problem thruout the Hotel. Indra may need to look at investing in an updated version of this safe. Overall, however highly recommend the Indra Hotel as a good quality hotel in Bangkok."
Klaus said, "Good Hotel, reasonable room-rates, very good location for shopping. The prices for lunch/dinner are definitively too high, also for drinks. All in all I will surely return to this hotel and can recommend it to other travelers."
Henry said, "My wife and the teenage boy and I had a junior-suite. We ordered an extra bed but didn t need it when we saw the two large ones and had it taken away. They first took us to a new suite on the 14th floor with a large new bathroom that has a glass enclosed shower. The suite is located at the end of a corridor which has a double door separating the two end suites from the corridor. We were totally impressed -- until we smelled the strong odor of urine. Some pig ruined a brand new nice room for the hotel and us! I mentioned to the front desk and they immediately moved us to another jr-suite at the lower level which is older and isn t quite as nice and has an older bathroom but adequate. The male-staff in the lobby with the blue uniforms is not helpful and just loitering around. I asked two separate ones a question on where to go in the neighborhood for meals and they were totally unhelpful when they know that there is no personal gain for them for helping. Also, need to watch out for those guys at the front of the hotel in white uniforms and wearing some sort of name tags. I think they just pretend to be hotel staff and try to rip you off with their offer of limousine rides. The hotel itself is very nice. The breakfast spread is wonderful. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is good but expensive. The McDonald downstairs surprisingly serves better hamburgers than those in the US. The food court in the Indra complex however is not worth your time. For those who want to venture out for meals, just walk less than 10 minutes through the mess up the main road to the shopping malls and you will find some nice food courts. I wished that someone had told us that earlier. For those who enjoy walking through flea market type stalls, there are virtually millions of them inside and outside of the hotel complex. Would we come back? Probably not due to the messy neighborhood and the air pollution on the local streets."
Mr. said, "Great as always! This is our fifth visit to Indra Regent. Bitterly disappointed however in the removal of the coffee lounge/dining room on ground floor. Still excellent value and handy location."
May said, "Indra Regent was ok - the room was clean and so was the bathroom and it was also very spacious. The location was not too good tho because Pratunam is VERY VERY traffic. The good thing is that it is walking distance to several malls like Platinum and there s one adjacent to the hotel. If you re looking to shop when in Bangkok and don t mind walking around in the heat, then Indra would be your best choice."
Corey said, "We loved the hotel. It was close to everything, clean, quiet, just what you need in the centre of Bangkok!"
Matilda said, "Hotel was ok, not as nice looking rooms that you might expect looking at the pictures at the web page though. Breakfast buffet was ok. Location was good, close to many shopping sites. Overall, hotel rated for us as ok but we ll probably use another one next time."
Richard said, "I have to be honest and say that the hotel had a number of problems. The A/C was so weak that the rooms and even the lobby had a musty smell to them. the breakfast buffet was not very good at all. The water was bad as was most of the rest of the buffet. Unfortunately I would not stay there again."
Jacobsen said, "The hotel may not the most fanciest one, but a solid, clean and somewhat luxurious place to stay and relatively close both to the airport and shopping places. On Saturday morning at 8.20 it just took 25 minutes by taxi!"
Eyal said, "very good location, very good rooms, but the ugly thing is that the door men don t give you good service, all the time they want to send you the massage (sex) and want to take you to place that they get money from them (suit and more)."
Noa said, "Great hotel, great location. the price of the hotel services (bar, massage, etc) is very expensive."
NARESH said, "It was okay, the food was good but, they are usually the same everyday. The service was awesome:p the room feels comfy. The restaurants in the hotel was good and has fair price. Really good location. Good facilities."
Tomer said, "Good value for money. great location, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful stuff and the rooms are nice and clean. would go back again."
Suzana said, "Not bad at all. The junior suite was nice. The staff were vcry nice. They helped us with ticket to Ratchadamnoen (Muay thai). We were also able to check-in early without any costs (did however request it when we booked the room). The hotel is placed very central so it was easy to find the shops. We were also able to have the room until 18 o´clock for only 1000 bath. Would recommend it!"
Shimon said, "excellent cooperative hotel, located in a very good area, if you plane shopping then try first the mall on the base floor of the hotel before you go sweating on the street. since I had very late flight the hotel let me use the swimming pool facilities till 20:00 so I got to the flight fresh and clean after a shower."
Anna-Lena said, "Very good location near market and walking distance to MBK and Siam centre. Big and comfortable rooms and very good breakfast. Little poolarea but big enough though it wasn´t crowdy. Prices at the poolbar a little bit to high. Will stay there again. Close to Bayikok Sky if you want to take a drink at the 83th floor, amazing view in dayligt and at nighttime."
Aleksey said, "Not bad, but not so good."
elisabeth said, "Very nice hotel, large room and nice breakfast. The poolarea is quite small, but enough for a few hours. Perfect location for shopping."
Marguerita said, "Having bed was clean. The service counter staff were all very helpful and pleasant overall. I will recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a comfortable and clean hotel. The price of the hotel is reasonable if not cheaper."
Derek said, "Clean gOOD VALUE for the price a good place to clean up and relax after a hard day reseraunts are expensive in the hotel and in the whole area Good access to Panthip and MBK etc"
Linda said, "For the second time now we the location is perfect for us travelling with 2 children. The room was very nice, the master-bed could be a little bit softer but the service, location and friendly staff does that we will stay at Indra Regent when we come back to Bangkok in December."
George said, "If we are transisting Bangkok for a day or two we always stay at the Indra - location wise it is ideal for us.We always get excellent service and the rooms have always been clean and tidy.I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are overnighting or for a quick visit to Bangkok."
Regan said, "Great location for shopping, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, luggage storage available for free"
Amy said, "The Indra is a great mid range hotel, in the BEST location. The staff were very friendly. The room (Junior Suite) was spacious and light filled and while the decor of the hotel is a little dated (the hallways are mission brown) the hotel is clean and well maintained. The pool area is very nice. Breakfast is great however is outside and can get warm. The bathroom was a little old and shower head just ok. But other than that the Indra is in the heart of the garment centres (perfect for shopping) and cheap, short tuk tuk or taxi rides to everywhere else! I would definitely stay again."
Mark said, "The Indra we found was a little disapointing. The ammenities at the hotel are fine the lobby bar and even more so the sala thai dinner dance night very good. The room although large enougth and with everything in there that you would need smelt it smelt damp and musty every time we entered .The breakfast service was good large choice. The area the hotel is in is great if you want to shopfor s bargins Prautnam market area is buzzing.Unfortunatly unless you want to eat street food in your lap your choice is taxi or tuk tuk there are no near by restaurants. Also at night when the market closes walking with the rats is not to pleasent."
Björn said, "Very good!Clean and well maintaned hotel in the middle of Pratunam. Got a good price from R24 and will go back. The breakfast was the best we ever seen in a 4 star hotel."
Line said, "Hotel was nice. Big room, and a good selection of tv channels (yes once in a while it s nice to kick back in front of the tv, even if it s in Bangkok).Only thing was that we had a few problems when coming back from the city in the late evenings (about 01.00 o clock), when the portner felt like he had to be rude while checking up on me staying as a guest and not as a one-night guest. - and that the guys in front of the hotel that s supposed to help with taxi services (employed by the hotel) tried to get us to go to a seafood restaurant called chombone (or something alike it). It is riddiculously expensive, and the food is horrible. Other than that, there are few tourists on this hotel, and fewer use the bar and restaurants, so for younger people it might be a little dull."
Barbara said, "Nice place to stay and looks like the website--a good thing. However, location is a little challenging. Unless you want to eat off the numerous carts (they are good) that are within easy walking distance (just around the corner) there are very few sit-down restaurants in immediate vicinity. You will have to negotiate Bangkok rush-hour traffic. The closest public transportation besides a bus is the skytrain which is a 10-15-minute walk."
Mitsuru said, "Very good value with the hotel. However I felt the bustle around the hotel."
Rosalyn said, "Great location for shopping. Friendly staff and very helpful."
craig said, "Where do i start. Our two rooms were not ready on arrival, the breakfast was awful, staff out the front of the hotel were to put it mildly,RUDE.The dining and drinks at the hotel were overpriced. Not a 4 star hotel.I would not recommend this hotel at all.Cheers Craig Simmons"
Linda said, "Nice hotel with friendly staff. Location in center of great shoppingarea. We will return i January 07."
John said, "My partner and I warm food. The hotel is well located for shopping.Avoid taxi tout in foyer and catch metered cab outside door.Overall a good place to stay, friendly and obliging staff. We would stay here again."
Howard said, "3rd time at Indra. Good location. Room was clean and well maintained."
kayte said, "This is the place to stay if you want to be in amongst everything in Bangkok. It is well known. The breakfast are exceptional here and they have a great pool on the 4th floor. The rooms are good also."
