Fortunatly the hotel met me at the airport with a courtesy van and returned me to the airport the next morning for my trip to Phuket. This is a very plain hotel with a very small breakfast. The staff was friendly and I would stay here again."

Be sure to take address because taxi drivers never heard of it. Nothing to do nearby, as it is in a residential neighborhood. But to be near the airport for a day or two is great."

Katherine stayed at Floral Shire Resort on 2008-03-26 and said, "Hotel was clean, rooms large, beds comfortable, breakfast not so good. Had trouble getting taxi for 5 people. Hotel let us use their van as a taxi. It took almost 3 hours to get downtown and $1000 baht because driver did not use the toll roads. We would have gladly paid the toll so as not to waste our limited time."

Jim stayed at Floral Shire Resort on 2008-03-01 and said, "The hotel is very isolated from shopping, Bangkok s night life or anything for that matter. Would not recommend it for anyone who expects to stay long terms, although very convenient to and from the airport. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus which is a bonus. The rooms are descent, the staff very friendly. I would stay here again if I had a short stay and had to catch an early flight the following morning."

Hotel have own transportation from and to airport for only 100 baht. (We unfotunately didn t know to call the hotel when arrived in Bangkok and our taxi had difficulties to find the hotel) We give our best recomendations and will use it again."

The location is very handy for the airport as it is just 10 minutes, using their complimentary Minibus. The staff are very helpful. I took a taxi in to the city, it took 45 minutes at 1700 and cost 180 Baht, but to get back at 2100 took 30 minutes at 300 Baht. Check out was rapid and at my own timing they delivered my to the airport. A Good experience all round. at reasonable cost."

The restaurant (only outside!) is far from adequate.Even the superior room is really very basic, with a matrass on the ground!"

Xiang stayed at Floral Shire Resort on 2007-12-22 and said, "Good location, close to Skyline. Only 10 mins walk to MBK and Siam, the two big shopping malls in BKK. Room is clean. Some staff is very friendly and helpful and some are not. There is a night restaurant street close to the hotel, only 1 min. walk, if you are hungry at midnight. The staff cannot speak English but they have English Menue."

Seems very new.A bit hard to find (needs a sign on main road at turnoff and another larger sign on the front of hotel) but very close to airport and good, reliable complimentary shuttle to airport. Rooms spotless, pleasant outdoor eating/drinking area at front and although no restaurant will bring food in. Beds very hard but for 1 night only bearable and is outweighed by other advantages(location, price etc)"

Ms stayed at Floral Shire Resort on 2007-12-04 and said, "Excellent budget hotel. Spotlessly clean, pleasant room. Very hard bed, but quite common in Thailand & ok for one night. Very pleasant, obliging & friendly staff. Complimentary & punctual transport to airport (imagine pickup would be the same). No restaurant, but delicious reasonably priced meals can be ordered through reception & are delivered to outdoor dining area or your room. Breakfast minimal but ok. Hotel needs prominent signposting on front fence and on the intersection with the main road so that it is easier for taxi drivers to find (we came from Bangkok train station). Obviously this is not a problem if you have arranged pickup by the hotel from the airport which is 10 mins away by car. Would strongly recommend this hotel for people who need to stay close to airport."

They were able to call the hotel shuttle for me. Otherwise, make sure you take their phone number. The hotel beds are hard but fine. It isn t too loud. The staff is friendly. It isn t the cleanest place I ve ever stayed at but ok. On the whole it was good value. Next time, however, I m going to be staying at the Novotel at the airport."

Francisco stayed at Floral Shire Resort on 2007-11-13 and said, "Please do not stay here. I like hard beds, but the one here was a rock, the cover sheets were not clean, there is nothing near by, the staff has arrangements with a taxi, so if you want to go somewhere, do not expect the staff to give you the best directions on costs for the taxi. Internet is expensive compared to average costs in any hotel of similar standards, reception is bad. The only good thing is the free transportation to the airport. I would not recommend it. When we wnet bakc to Bangkok and needed a hotel near the airport we found another one called, Siam Piman, this one was great, stay there instead or in another one."

V. stayed at Floral Shire Resort on 2007-10-16 and said, "If you don t mind a hard bed, thin walls and a hotel being under the Suvarnabhumi approach route, then you will really enjoy the perfect pick-up/bringing service (10 min. from airport), the very nice and helpfull staff and the big & clean room."

Price is very reasonable, the staff are friendly with good English, and food is available by ordering out. The only slight problem was the difficulty in connecting with the airport pickup service, included in the room price."
